It was a frigid, frosty, friday... wait a sec. This is Florida. It was actually really sunny when I passed by Las Totoritas Restaurant in Pembroke Pines. I ordered the Lomo Saltado (sauteed beef with onions, tomatoes, fries [yes, the fries are sauteed with everything else]). The plate also comes with white rice. Let me tell you that it was no ordinary dish. The quality of the beef was excellent, the fries were definitely made at the restaurant and were NOT the frozen variety, and everything tasted amazing. Lomo Saltado, great staple of Peruvian cuisine and extremely delicious at this place. The service was also very good. You can sit where ever you like, and you will get a menu promptly from a smiling waitress who you can speak in Spanish to if you are able. The drinks (I had an Inca Kola) were brought almost instantly, and the food didnt take long either. The places decoration isnt memorable, but its very comfortable. Its only tables, there are no booths, and there is sometimes live music. The seating area is big and open with natural light from the front windows. Finally, I had an alfajor for dessert. They are pretty much dulce de leche between two cookies. The ones they have at this place are HUGE. The cookies are about 1cm thick, and the section of dulce de leche is just as thick. Anyway, you cant go wrong here. Service, food, atmosphere and pricing are all great. 5 stars, would go again.

Place is supposed to close at 10 pm according to their business hours online, we get there at 9:25pm after driving for 20 minutes and the waitress turned us down at the door. She would only accept orders to go. That is BS. In addition to this, I dont even know why we wanted to give it a second chance anyways. In our last visit , ceviche was really bad, poorly seasoned and salty. Not even spicy like we asked. Also, their rocoto sauce has changed. Now they serve it watered down and mixed with mayonnaise! Wtf. And their huancaina sauce is not good, it is made at a warehouse and does not taste like good traditional peruvian huancaina sauce. Too bad. We used to really like this place, but with their service lately plus their cheap ingredients and sauces...no more.

Beware of their dishonorable early bird special! Went there with my whole family and we order 3 family dishes from their “early bird menu”. After 35 minutes, the waiter comes to our table and says that the menu was no longer active! After 35 minutes of waiting…!!! I asked to speak to a manager and she told that there was no manager or owner at the time, and then another waiter came and started getting nasty with me!!! Don’t go to this place unless you want to be treated with insolence and disrespect! We were not the only party that was given the same excuse!!! They use false advertisement to bring people in and their hospitality service is the worst!!! I thought I was in a mechanic shop and not in a restaurant!!! At last, their food is not the great either!!!

Muy rica comida, el único problema son los mozos q te preguntan mil veces si querés algo más. Y te llevan los platos si te ven q estas haciendo una pausa parece q quieren que te vallas rápido. Es la segunda ves q voy y m pasa lo mismo.

Came once before. And someone spilled drinks. Came second time and they spilled drinks on my sister, gave me a dirty cup (which was disgusting), gave my brother dirty fork and knife (again disgusting), and the food took quite a while. Food was okay though. Not amazing, or great but, okay. Like if you just want to eat, then sure. So, if you can mange sit through all these incidents that may occur while your there, by all means enjoy there food. :(

It really is hard to write this review because Totoritas has always been the ceviche place to go among other things but today was a total disappointment... the ceviche had no taste the juice tasted out of a bottle..."100% juice" still not real limes...also I never got my second order they made it later but ended up taking it home cause it took so long and everyone in my party was already done... so sad

I gave it 4 stars because they dont overprice the food like all the other Peruvian restaurants. The food its usually good, specially the ceviche and jalea. The place is not fancy at all but I rather not spend a fortune on a tiny portion of ceviche elsewhere. So its a casual environment, usually good food, decent portions and good prices. This is where I go to satisfy the need for ceviche.

The portion size didnt worth the price. I ask the lady to fill the plate with more because it was even nothing. She took my order...returned to the kitchen...and after waiting and returned...she didnt add more!!!! Very disappointed with the place. I went there because a friend told me the ceviche was good but it was a sample portion. I will not return there.

The food is awesome. The restaurant is clean and nicer than the plaza lets on! We had dinner for 2 with wine and beer for a very reasonable price. The food was perfectly seasoned and didnt take very long! This place is good for couples, families, or ANYONE looking for a casual but tasty meal!!!
