First, they took a reservation when no reservation was necessary. When I walked in, a young man just said, "sit wherever you want." Then, we asked what the fish of the day was and were told, "It is red snapper." When the waitress came over, and my friend began to order the red snapper, she responded, "We dont have any red snapper, but Ill give you cod for the same price." When my friend said she was not interested, she offered whiting that is normally thrown in the soup for the same $22 as the red snapper. I had a gift certificate, which they refused to allow to be used on their three course meal, referring to the gift certificate as a "discount" on which they "make nothing." Thereafter, the waitress said that they have salmon, but they only have one piece left, so only one of us could have it. My friend then ordered a piece of chicken seared and dry, no oil or fat, and no seasoning. I ordered my salmon the same way. The waitress clearly understood, saying that she had been on plenty of diets and understood about the special order. The chicken came covered in butter, and the salmon came covered in an oily pesto sauce. When my friend directly asked the waiter if the chicken was covered in butter contrary to her order, he went to the chef, came back and answered, "Yes." My friend refused the meal, and the waitress came over to tell my friend that there was no butter on the chicken after the chef had just confirmed the butter. Never once was a refill offered on drinks without a reminder to the waiter. We had to leave the table to ask for the check, and then leave the table again to pay, because the waitress was apparently telling another customer the details of my friends complaints about the cooking.

Walking into the restaurant, at 2:30pm, with only one party of two, sitting at a table, should have been our first clue. The waiter, standing behind the counter, said nothing and just looked at us. WE asked if we can sit anyplace. He came to the table and set down menus saying nothing. He brought water, and again, said nothing. We asked about specials, he said thats for dinner only. Finally we ordered. He brought bread with an oil dip. Only parm cheese was in the oil. What about garlic and seasonings? This is an Italian restaurant. My husband had the brie and chicken panini. No specific taste or creaminess of brie. I had the seafood in a garlic tomato sauce. NO TASTE AT ALL!!! I had to ask for some parm cheese sprinkled on it, just to zip it up a little. It tasted as if the seafood was just cooked in plain canned tomatoes. With this restaurant being close to home, we were hoping to make it one of our regular dining places. We cant say one positive thing about it. We doubt we will ever go back and try it again.

I guess we were bothering the staff, because they certainly didnt appear to want us there. The main course was decent, but the appetizers and salads were just plain (and overpriced). I couldnt tell you about the cocktails, because, despite ordering one, I never got it. The server was shocked that I wanted a refill on my iced tea, which had sat empty for about 10 minutes before I said anything. The food runners didnt even put our entree plates in front of us, because our dirty app and salad plates were in the way. They stared at us for a couple of seconds, set our entrees off to the side, and walked away without the dirty plates, leaving us to shuffle everything around ourselves. All in all, I will avoid this place in the future. I can get much better food, prices, and especially service elsewhere. The absolute worst part was that I think our server was the manager, and he was the rudest of the bunch.

I was very excited about visiting Cinque terre last night as I had heard it was very good. I was very disappointed. we ordered a bottle of wine and it took a very long time for one to come to us. Also our waitress didnt come back as often as we would have liked for her to. We had the lemon Caper chicken and the chicken was very dry and overcooked and there wasnt much lemon flavor and we also had a rigatoni clams and shrimp and it didnt taste very good, there was no flavor. We had mussels for an appetizer and I think they were not as fresh as I would have liked them to be. Very fishy taste. And this is a $100 meal. I dont mind paying for something I enjoy but that was a waste of $100. The only tasty thing about this meal was the wine. Would Not recommend or go back mysel!

1.) food was phenomenal: we ordered the special seared ahi tuna and the vodka penne w shrimp. very good and filling. 2.) the service was very concerned with our experience. The atmosphere was nice, doors open (so it was a good temperature, not too hot or cold), laid back music, friendly staff. 3.) I want to say again the food was phenomenal. The only thing i would have changed is we ordered the appetizer off the specials list as well and it came to 18$. i think if we knew it was that expensive we would have been pleased (Im sure cause everything was great) with another starter. not an issue with the restaurant we were just surprised at the end but the food was very worth it and i am sure ill be going back again

I took my gf there for dinner last night. It was crowded because of Mothers Day. Tried asking for the free carafe of sangria for checking in to yelp but they said that offer does not apply for Mothers Day. A little pissed hearing that but after tasting the food, I will most certainly be back for the food. We ordered the alfredo saffron & shrimp black pasta and the lasagna with bechamel sauce. Wow! This is what homemade pasta should taste like and every bite was delicious! So despite not getting the free sangria and the annoying staff constantly coming to take our unfinished dishes, we will be back to enjoy the food.

AWESOME little Italian restaurant. The chef is Italian, so food is a genuine and delicious experience. You can tell the owners pay a great attention to detail, and atmosphere is fun yet relaxed classy and casual at the same time (not sure how they bring it all together, but they do it beautifully). There are awesome drinks (vacation in your mouth, must try), and really cool dishes like dismantled Tiramisu that comes with a shot of rum! Lol. Plus price is reasonable, with deals like 3 courses for $16. Did I mention the food is amazing? Definitely no other place like it! Try it out and see for yourself :)))

Place is amazing. Had a birthday party here last Saturday. 26 happy guests. Count them. 26. Not one complaint. Impossible, you say? Everyone complains in South Florida... nope. A truly amazing place. Some of the most authentic Italian food in South Florida is found at the bustling college town in Davie. They were even featured on Belkys Bite here on the local news. Dont sleep on this. Lif is too short to eat boring, average Italian food. Go here. Say hi to a skinny chef named, Aldo. Thank me later.
