So I went here after seeing that they had "birch beer" in a review. Upon walking in it seems to be a cool mom n pop diner type place. Theres a huge menu posted for all to see but THERE ARE NO PRICES on said menu. I ask the server if they have "Birch beer" and she said "yes". I asked what brand it was and got "I dont know". Then I asked her to take a picture of the label with my phone. When I looked at the pic I saw "Barqs Root Beer". I tell her that its not birch beer and she says "they say its the same thing". I tell her that its not. So I paid $2.75 plus tax for a 20 ounce cup which I thought that I was getting a large which is what I ordered but was not advised that it was what appeared to be the only size. She didnt even bother to ask if I still wanted it being that its not what I ordered. She asked someone behind the wall "maybe manager" about the "birch beer/root beer" and they didnt seem to care about the difference. I took the time to look at their more portable menu and guess what NO PRICES on the menu. So it seems that they may just charge you whatever they want because you have no idea what any costs. The store was dead for 6 in the evening which could be a sign. I definitely wont be going to have food from here in the future

The good: Slow, slow, slow, slow! I counted about 12 people behind the counter and I stood there for almost 10 min with no one even asking me If I needed anything. The bad: some of the people that come in are a little scary. I had a crazy street guy on my right talking to himself and a really thug looking dude on my left. The ugly: Attitude! So, at 7am they count their money at the register. They make you stand there for like 15 min. No one takes your order and the staff, numbering at least 10, just stands around. I asked them to at least take my order and Ill pay when theyre done and all I got was attitude. The cashier actually refused to take my order unless I moved over about a foot and stood at the designated order spot. Mind you, it was empty...I was the only client in there. Really ridiculous service. This place would be great if they replaced their stupid cashier and got better organized. Today was the last straw. They lost another customer.

The area the restaurant is located in is not to great. But dont let that stop you. I happen to be in the area when my coworker said she used to go to a Royal Castle in that area with her mom. We found it. Even though we were a little apprehensive about trying it, we did. And we were so happy we did. The place inside is VERY clean. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable on the history and owner of the establishment. The food is made to order and was delicious. The buns were soft, the meat was juicy and not greasy. The fries were hot and fried to a golden perfection. And the fountain coke is super sweet and refreshing.

Would love to continue dining at this resturant, however their customer service is severly lacking. I gave this place up because of their lack of service in the past. (Fool me once shame on you) Today I called 5 minutes prior to 1pm and was promptly placed on hold. The young lady came back on the line and said sorry its now 1pm and Im not allowed to take orders over the phone after 1pm. (Are you kidding me) Most people would have hung up after being on hold for so long, however I have patience. What I can not tolerate is substandard customer service. I get better service across the street at Wendys. Imagine that.

Horrible Experience, ordered 2 classic combos for $23 after waiting 45 min I realized they had just started working on my order. While waiting both customers and employees were complaining about what a real sh!# hole this place was, oh almost forgot the outlet on supplying power to one of the deep fryers cought fire. After experiencing all of that I decided to leave without my food or money I preferred that rather then spending another moment in that place. I left and called 10 min later and requested them to please give the food to someone in need.

Cant order for pick up and service is terrible. Ask for a manager and there is not one. Cashier lays down the law here. Supposed to be 24 hours but they open and close when they want to. The food is actually decent but with the 15 min wait just to take your order and 20 mins to get your food its not worth the wait. I used to be a regular 8 years ago but my family and friends avoid this place now. This place just doesnt care about their customers so dont give them any of your money.

be forewarned this joint is as ghetto as it gets. if you are interested in trying it, definitely do it during the daytime and even then, I would be very, very cautious. had no idea what I was getting into - buddy was driving. Woman behind the counter was not interested in serving me, a 20-something white guy. There were lots of very dirty looks. Ended up walking out - just wanted some food, not trouble.

Would of gave 5 stars but i guess everyone would criticize it....... serving breakfast all day is there biggest plus.... is a lil ghetto, but wut do you expect.... its in the hood, smdh.... went in with my 6 kids and wife, and service was amazing. Staff took care of me like i owned the place.... would highly recommend it if your just passing thru!!!

The breakfast is really good fresh and hot. I got the corned beef hash with grits and eggs and a lemonade. The homemade lemonade was made to perfection.the only problem I had was that the lady who took my order was not very customer friendly. She was rushing me and the place wasnt even busy

Its okay, but could be better.I couldnt get my eggs scrambled with cheese because they dont want to mess up their pans..so I was served a small portion of eggs with a piece of cheese on top...lol.I had to go across the street to get milk.The food is good...just not enough.

The menu is very, very misleading. THE price for 6 castle burgers and fries and soda isnt on the menu and the cashier isnt honest and forthcoming with the pricing. They need to be trained to inform the customer of any and every extra charges that isnt on the menu.

Actually the place isnt all that but theyve been friendly when ive gone there the grits are good eggs made as u like and basically what u order the philly might not be great but all places arent perfect and they do take credit card thats how I paid

The good: Great sliders like Krystal and White Castle very flavorful burgers cooked to order. The bad: Service can be very slow and the neighborhood extremely dicey. I wouldnt go there at night.

Good food, kinda slow but the food is worth the wait, the smothered liver is the best, tastes like steak, highly recommend, if you can, try to get there when George is the cook!!!
