WORST customer service and packaging ever!!! I ordered 25 lbs of Fafda for an event and talked to the owner (Indra) and her son multiple times to confirm how they will pack the boxes. They assured me that they ship all over US and pack the fafda very well with aluminium tray, plastic wrap and bubble wrap. They even charged me more for packaging because of the order size and all the packaging that they were going to do supposedly. Come to find out, when I received the fafda, 30% of them were destroyed. More astonishing is that there is no bubble wrap!!! When I called them and told them that 30% of the fafda are destroyed they didnt believe me. When I said I will send you pictures, they said but well look at the box, there is no room to put bubble wrapping. We only put that around 1lbs/smaller orders. Because we put fafda in the aluminum tray and wrapped it with plastic (literally only 2 thin layers of clear plastic to hold the two aluminium trays together), fafdas should have been fine in the cardboard box, UPS is to blame. Are you kidding me!?!?!?! You expect to ship fragile items across the country (from New York to Utah) and not do the bubble wrap and when items are destroyed you blame UPS??? When I asked what am I suppose to do for my event now, they said we cant do anything now. Didnt even offer shipping few more fafda let alone refunding money for part of shipping/packaging!!! SAID "I AM BUSY NOW SO I CANT DO ANYTHING FOR YOU NOW, CALL ME NEXT WEEK" and HUNG UP!!!!!

This restaurant is my favorite. They have the best Masala Chai I have ever tasted... On most days I go in just for the Chai... The restaurant is family owned and operated... Verdan is the nephew of the owner and always a ray of sunshine... Abhi, is the owners son and a great person... Jassy is my favorite counter person, as a matter of fact... Theyre all my favorites... The food is a bit spicy... after all it is a Indian restaurant... They have a huge Dosa menu, and the Dosas are always made fresh... Superb and exquisite... Their sweets and desserts are delectable... Try them once and you will be hooked.

I would give this place 5 stars if parking was little easier and if there was a separate bathroom for ladies. Sometimes the wait to wash you hands can be long. The positive: Very good customer service, the young man at the cash register (I think he is the owners son) is a role model for good customer service!. If you dont have to look for parking this is the place to go for some delicious Indian food. I usually get a packet of (Dessert) Rasmalai ($6- for 6 pieces) and it is the best I have ever tasted! It is no surprise sometimes they run out their own Rasmalai, ( better than Rajbhogh. )

I usually get sweets and dosas from here and they are pretty good...but the customer service is the WORST. I am going to look for another place...a number of times I waited on line and no one approached me to order and random people walked on the line and t hey took their order...I was parked at a meter and it was up so I let management know and they guy made a joke of it. He said they arent really good at lines and keeping track of who skipped who I was really annoyed. Never going back!

Excellent food, sweets and atmosphere. The entire staff is very friendly and works to ensure every customer has a positive experience while at Usha Foods. I like the variety of both North and South Indian foods and the extensive selection of sweets and snacks. Everything is always fresh and good quality. Its always a pleasant experience to eat here! I recommend it to anyone living in or visiting the area!

Very poor quality of food, not worth the price you pay. Ordered online and items were packed less, when i called them, they said that they would verify and call me back, its a week and i have not heard from them. A customer who palces an order for $73.00 would not lie for $3.00. Its not the question of $3.00 but question of principal. I would never order from here again or recommen any one.

One of the best places to get your samosa cravings satisfied. I have tried their sweets(ie Mithai) specifically the gulab jamun and was blown away. Usha truly understands the concept behind the right proportion size and not selling GJ that is dripping with fluid. Their Nimco Mix(atleast that what Ive heard what its called) is one of the best too. I look forward to going there soon.

Sorry to say but your food Quality has gone down since I visited in 2013. Why is that? The Dahipuri was soo good! And now it tastes like the ones in Jackson Heights, with kind of fake tamarind sauce and green sauce.. Please dont skimp on Quality. I was disappointed and was feeling bad for bringing my friends there. Still giving it 3 stars instead of 1 because of the service.

Came here again and the female workers is very sympathetic and now cares. They apologize and have a great attitude. The food now changed and gotten better. Now i want to come back and try more sweets and food. PS. Thank you to the manager who actually show care and concern. I would recommend getting the sweets and somasa. But i now appreciate the positive change.

Didnt find quality sweets I was expecting from a shop that especializes in sweet. Need a professional sweet maker (halwi). Tea was stale but that could be because it was evening but then they need to make sure only as much as they can sell within an hour. Pleasant, smiling cashier at register. Helpful staff.

Crowded during the evenings. Wish they had descriptions of all menu items. If youre not familiar with this kind of food the servers are too busy to answer all of your questions about the menu options. So far the food has been tasty (a little salty though).

Great Indian veggie food options. Love the Bombay snacks and chaats. Pav bhaaji is one of the best around this area. Cant stop myself visiting if not every week, at least every fortnight.

One of my favorite spots for samosa and chaat. Awesome lunch combos. Love the fact that they do catering in the tri-state area and nationwide shipping!
