I simply cannot believe that someone thinks this is the best Mexican food in Orlando – it all comes straight from a can. I ordered a glass of sangria – the menu describes this as red wine with fresh fruit and a touch of sugar – what you get is red wine mixed with canned fruit cocktail. Mine even had the fake red cherry in it. Then I ordered the Sopa Azteca – the best of the dinner – chicken with rice and cheese topped with a decent chicken stock and tortilla slices. Only the avocado on top was a bad note as it was far from ripe and had that bland soapy taste – also the lime slice was a dried out poor specimen. Then I ordered Chili Verde – described as pork slowly stewed with rice a beans. The verde sauce was from the exact same can I buy at Publix and the only thing added was a LOT of bay leaves – my single serving had four full bay leaves. The pork was never stewed – pre-cooked, chopped and added to the sauce – I know because while the sauce was hot, the pork was still cold. The rice was so overcooked that one bite was it – restaurant owners take note – never serve rice in the shape of a mold. That screams bad prep – plus it was so bland as to have almost no taste. The refried beans, again, straight from a can – nothing added at all. Price was $25 – people you can make this exact same meal for under $8 by going to the “international” aisle in any supermarket and buying cans – this food had the EXACT same taste.

One step inside and YOU CAN ALREADY TELL THE FOOD here WON’T BE AUTHENTIC; this is the land of theme parks and Garibaldi has such a small proximity to one of the most tourist-populated malls. One step inside and you can see it’s a HUGE BUILDING DECORATED BRIGHTLY. (My credentials: I’ve lived and eaten in migrant worker communities were most residents travelled back and forth to Mexico). Whether it was the Quesadillas or Tamales, there was ALWAYS SOMETHING LACKING IN THE FLAVOR. It wasn’t lack of seasoning… it was just… something I couldn’t pinpoint. And any alcohol I tasted seemed watered down from the huge Margaritas to the alcoholic Hot Chocolate. But this place is also packed with crowds for a reason—it’s a GREAT PARTY ATMOSPHERE FOR DINING. The crowd was wild for the evening Mariachi band. The drinks are Instagram worthy. I guess you can take it or leave it.

If I could give them 0 stars I would terrible service! I sat down and didnt get served my drink for a good 10 min. when it finally came the tea I ordered tasted terrible, so I asked for a new one and didnt even get a apology for it being bad. The food took way to long to come out and are waitress was apologizing yet didnt really care. Once the food came out I was shocked cause the chicken was CHEWY AND UNDERCOOKED. I payed and left and will never. Return. And I will tell everyone I know not to come here because they are at risk for salmonella. And when I told another employee of what happened they didnt seem to care one tiny bit. They didnt even offer anything like a apology. This place is terrible and I will make sure everyone knows.

Recently happened upon this restaurant from recent Foodie Awards. Overall, we enjoy the food/beverages. The Ultimate Garibaldi is our margarita of choice! Very good queso dip with warm crisp nachos. Service very prompt. Love the Taco Grande Salad, large portion, and still very good the follow day. We tried the Fajitas Garibaldi this past visit, and they come out of the kitchen steaming and sizzling, but only to see a mixed up mess arrive at our table. Everything is scrambled together, with a nondescript seasoning, and overall lacking flavor. Worse fajitas! Well return to try a few other new dishes, and stick with my tried and true Taco Grande Salad (without the shell, add sauteed peppers and onions, and refried beans)!

I walked in and waited about 5 mins for someone to finally come to greet us.. The servers here definitely need some training. The torta Id ordered was just a plain bread and burned. I also ordered some new shrimp tacos they have which are not in the menu, the shrimp was really good but the tortilla that comes with them sucked big time, it was like biting on plastic! Honestly I was laughing cause I could not believe what I was eating but I was so hungry! I am not the one to talk bad about anyone or to put you down, only reason Im writing this review is hoping management sees this and improves because it is a pretty restaurant with lots of potential.

Terrible experience . The childrens menu has no price on any of the foods and the childrens drinks are 3$ each . I was not made aware of this as the server had no clue how much anything was on the childrens menu and said it varies. When I asked to speak to the manager he said that was the owners fault that there are no prices on the menu and not to mention my children got some super tiny little triangle that was listed as a quesadilla , according to the manager that is also the " owners " fault that the serving is not even enough to fill a 2 year old.

This place is a joke! The server was too busy hitting on the tweens behind us while the food was far from edible. The atmosphere- well if you like dust bunnies falling into your meal then you must go! The place was disgusting I do not think they have ever cleaned the tables or any of the decorations there was so much dust on everything we left and did not finish our meal. My question is if they do not clean the dining room imagine the kitchen... Yuck!! I do not recommend this place at all even pig pen from the peanuts would not eat here!!!

Today we did a 40 people luncheon at Garibaldi on Sand Lake Road and it was so totally awesome. We got there just before 12 and everybody and I mean everybody was out by 12:30-12:40. Served and waited on with the most utmost expertise. The waiters and waitresses were awesome. The manager, Luis, was the best Ive ever come upon. He helped me organize this without a glitch. So totally awesome and grateful for people that work for a living. They were so great. Thank you guys. You deserve 5 stars for today. Darlene @ Comtech Systems, Inc.
