First they are unprofessional and screen their calls. I was calling from work and it is a large public organization and it was not private phone call. At first I thought their phone was not set up or it was incorrect online. The worker was picking up the phone and hanging up. I finally got through and the man on the phone spoke in an aggrivated manner. Answering my question as to what a dish came with was a burden. Second the food is disgusting. Coming from a Mexican it was not authentic. I included a picture of the "Pico de Gallo" which was all onions and barely tomato. The salsa is also horrendous. I am giving this place a 1 star only because a negative star is not possible. Go to El Tenampa for good food. No I am not affiliated with them. I just loathe horrible customer service.

At first I was excited that there was another Mexican food restaurant coming to downtown Orlando. There is nothing wrong with Gringos, but variety is always good. Once I walked in a saw the menu board, I recognized this as the same Mexican restaurant chain I went to on Hoffner a few month ago. And the thing that made it stand out is the outrageous prices. $9 for a burrito? $3.50 for chips and salsa? You can have a full 3 item meal with rice and beans with table service at Agave Azul for less than this place. The food was OK. But for Mexican food the prices are way out of line. They will need to revisit thier pricing if they want to survive in the Downtown market. $13 for lunch with a drink is a not a good price point if you want weekly repeat visitors.

Easily the best Mexican place in all of Orlando. Take the extra three blocks away from gringos. I love gringos dont get me wrong! But this place is the real deal and pretty authentic (I think for some one who isnt even a little Hispanic). Queso is fantastic, chimis are fried in front of you and topped, flauntas are delicious. The different in house salsas are sooo good and not just veggies in a cup, and the hot is very VERY hot. Fresh hibiscus tea, horchata and tamarind drinks.

I just got off the phone with Chris. I am going to order a catering from them for a lunch and learn in Orlando. I am just writing the review to counter the last one because Chris was so courteous and so helpful that I could not hesitate to write. I am sure their food and services are as good and peasant as their phone handling as their other reviews show. I will update my review to let everyone know how it goes.

Live nearby and go here a few times a month (maybe once per week when Im busy and dont want to cook). Casual place for lunch or dinner, staff is always friendly and polite, everything is clean, rarely a wait to get food (almost always in and out in 5-10 minutes unless lunch rush) and food is great at a great price. Tacos and enchiladas are my favorites. Highly recommend.

This place is so good! I live downtown and honestly dont even go to gringos anymore. Im a vegetarian so I get a black bean and rice quesadilla and its perfect in every way. Much more authentic with a better topping selection. The hibiscus drink is delicious as well as the Mexican craft beers. Seriously go there you wont be disappointed.

I really love this place. Just started working in downtown Orlando and found this place. Awesome authentic Mexican food. Tacos are great, the nachos are great and the chimichanga is huge. And since its part of the American Airlines Dining Program it doesnt hurt that i get extra miles per every purchase. LOVE IT!!!

Stopped in before class, though my navigation put it on the wrong side of the street. Good, solid Mexican. I had the burrito, and the flan. The burrito was stuffed and I felt taken care of by the guy! It was the rice that stood out for me, for some reason. Good stuff. The flan was jiggly good too. Id stop by again!

I love this place!!! Their tacos are fantastic! Their refried beans are delicious. The fact that they use these great little corn tortillas are the perfect base for all their perfectly seasoned meats. Fyi, the spicy shredded chicken and shredded beef are pretty spicy. I enjoy it being that hot but some dont.

Very slow service. Waited for an unexpected, unappreciated amount of time. Had a large party, with 12. Only 2 bowls of chips, had to ask several times for refills of drinks and salsa etc. Normally dont have this bad of an experience here, but tonight inparticular was below average.

Excellent! Tacos are full of flavor and made the RIGHT way (with soft tortillas). Prices are higher than fast food / lower than a restaurant, but the flavor makes it just right!

Kind of like a good street taco truck, they dont disappoint with their carne asada tacos (lime, cilantro, white onion) or the chicken tinga. Prices are pretty good too.
