My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Orlando! I went with 2 other people, and we all loved our meals. We went on a Monday night, and we were the only people in the restaurant. I got the Chicken Alambre, which was absolutely delicious. The cheese was really flavorful, not the cheap, crappy, tasteless cheese that a lot of places use. It came with a side of rice (which has peas and carrots in it, yum!), refried beans, guacamole, and a side salad. The salad was really fresh, with good quality lettuce and red onions. It wasnt just the crappy shredded lettuce that a lot of Mexican restaurant throw on a plate and call a salad. This was an actual salad, and it was delicious. The meal came with 3 flour tortillas. (I was not offered a choice of flour vs. corn, but I would have chosen flour anyway.) The chicken used was all white meat, and it was good quality. The meal was beautifully plated. Just a fantastic meal all around. My dining companions got the taco platter and the chicken fajitas. These meals were also plated very fancily and appetizingly, and both companions enjoyed their meals totally. My father-in-law, who had the tacos, wanted some hot sauce, and La Herradura has some REAL hot sauce! It was good quality homemade hot sauce, not just a bottle of Cholula or something like that. My father-in-law said it had both habañeros and jalapeños in it. My only suggestion would be improving the salsa that is served with the chips while you are waiting for your food to come out. It could be zippier in my opinion, and it had kind of a vinegar-y underdone that I could do without. It wasnt bad, but it wasnt stellar like everything else. A great restaurant, and I will definitely be back!

First timer, met friends there mid-week so not real busy which we were all okay with.. Decor looked fun. Excited we caught happy hour. Guac was okay, but it was the conversation that kept us laughing. Things went down from there once dinner was served. Our meals were a disappointment. Panchos burritos were okay but chiles rellenos was laid wide open and had what seemed to be large chunks of tofu but I know that couldnt be what it was. (it had to be large chunks of some cheese) Very unusual. Wevalso ordered Combo #2 which had a couple items plus Chiles Rellenos and same "tofu". Server disappeared often so service was not as expected. The experience seemed pricey after the fact. Not sure if we were in area again we would stop.

Amazing. Definitely the best food Ive had anywhere in Orlando. I ordered the taco salad, which was an excellent choice. It came with sour cream and fresh guacamole, whereas other restaurants charge for their add ons. My husband ordered a lunch combo with rice, enchiladas, quesadillas, salad and refried beans all for $7.50 and they were decent sized portions. We also had our infant son with us, and he even enjoyed looking around at all the decorations. Beautifully decorated and excellent food. We ordered deep fried ice cream as dessert, and they put on an excellent show at the table with the ice cream. Our server was Millena, she was so kind and very very friendly. DEFINITELY will be returning here.

Great decor, fun and lively. Food was plentiful and good. The poor service spoiled the evening. The restaurant was not busy so one would expect better service. The young girl serving us had an attitude and didnt take her hands out of her pockets. She apparently "left" and we were given another server who had a better attitude but again didnt want to wait on our table. I hope it wasnt because my daughter and her husband are a mixed race which is the feeling we got. Shame because the restaurant was nice enough to return to but we wont go back.

This charming Mexican restaurant is located in Hunters Creek near John Young Parkway and Deerfield. Amazing decor, tastefully decorated with exported art pieces and materials. The food is consistent with the Mexican tradition. Service is a focal point. I ordered a torta and forgot to ask for no guacamole (completely my mishap ) the server simply asked what was wrong and took action to correct it. Everyone strives to deliver a great experience.

I have visited La Herradura a handful of times hoping for a good Mexican spot for lunch. The food is inexpensive and not very good. Perhaps a place better for grabbing drinks. Staff speaks okay English, enough to get by, not a big deal. Staff continuously had dirty clothing on every visit...Makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Best Mexican food weve ever had, brought our 1 month old with us, very family friendly but also has a bar. Excellent customer service, amazing food. Amazing drinks. Awesome place. Prices are awesome too, I paid $7.50 for a combo plate with 2 chicken enchiladas, 2 chicken quesadillas, refried beans, rice & salad. Definitely recommended.

Waiter didnt know about happy hour. Food was terrible, not authentic. Chile relleno was not stuffed. It was opened in half and had greasy ground beef. No cheese. Enchiladas were small and dry. Place is too small to be playing music and a live mariachi band. I do not recommend this place.

Great Mexican restaurant with large portions and kind service. We were a party of three and we ordered Marias Sampler. The portion of that appetizer was so large, we didnt get to order entrees, and we still had a third of it left. I cant wait to return and try other menu items
