Anyone who knows me knows just how picky I am when it comes to the most important meal of the day for me which is lunch and dinner. At Mangiamo they have many different varieties starting from speciality slices, salads to amazing entrees!- Whats not to love ???!?! I first discovered Mangiamo Pizza & Resturant when heading back to school during my lunch break- I was starving (and thanks to Yelp), I found this little gem was right in the direction I was going. Tucked away in a plaza off of Route 17 South in the Staples Plaza with plenty of open parking as the plaza isnt super busy. Upon entering, you will find a warm welcoming by their hostesses and available board listing with their daily specials as well as their large variety of daily items- once you know what youll be having, head to the counter to place your order and when its ready, it will be brought to you. Ive seen the same handful of staff each time- very polite and knowledgeable ( especially when I order for delivery the phone girls are very well mannered and great to speak with). Have some questions about the menu?? Ask them! They are always so helpful and more then willing to recommend good items they think youll like. I love that the team will check on you to make sure everything is alright when dinning in without make you feel rushed and bombarded. Thumbs up on the service! If you are in need of a quick bite or want to have a nice wig the family come here! Its a great environment :)

I have given this place a second chance, and was really disappointed with the quality of the food both times. The first time around I won a trip to the hospital for food poisoning. Being a foodie, they use ingredients like a lot of garlic to cover up the spoiled taste and a lot of vinegar. The dough they use for the pizza is ready made (pre purchased from another place) you can see its sitting on the shelf covered in plastic near the oven. Usually a lot of the ITALIAN pizzerias make their dough in front of you. Pretty much everything they sell has that nasty/unpleasant vinaigrette that you get a pretty bad aftertaste. Their employees look very unhappy, the atmosphere was very unpleasant. Would not even think/consider going back to this place. All of the 5 star reviews were probably written by the owners, not much detail, just telling you they have good pizza and that you should go there. Hope my review was helpful.

I needed alot of pies after my caterer screwed up the date of my office presentation. As you can imangine I was out of sorts and didnt know what to do. I had over a 100 guest and no food to serve. I did a quick search for Pizza Restaurant Delivery and came across this listing. Long story short the owner talked to my caterer got my deposit from them and totally stopped his day to get my order set up. Sacraficing his own time to help me set this up. I got over 20 pies and some pasta and meatballs and side salad. I felt really good about using them because the owner was so apprecitive of my business. It feels good to not get the wham bam from so many other places that are just looking to make every dollar they can but rather deal with someone that knows the difference of quaility service and making the customer happy.

I called for a delivery from La Bella Roma Pizzeria they put me on hold. Then when the person comes back they tell me minimum charge 20$ which I agreed upon. Then they tell me I have to come all the way out of my way to meet the delivery guy when he came last time all the way to my door. I asked if they can do an exception and asked to speak to the manger and the manger was extremely rude and told me this is what it is; the message was more like if you dont like it go some where else. So I called Mangiamo which is also close by they were very professional and there was no minimum charge which came up to 16.20$ and i tipped the guy 5$ because they came in exactly on the time I requested. Mangiamo not only gave great customer service but also the food was amazing.

I had pizza delivered. Unfortunately, it arrived nearly cold first off. Secondly, there is some sweetness somewhere in there - either in the crust or the sauce. It seemed like the crust. Its not what Im accustomed to and left me blah. Otherwise, it looked good. There was adequate and decent cheese onboard and it was cooked properly. Overall, I would give the pizza a 6, which is not great. The fact that it arrived just warm as opposed to hot dropped it to a 5. I deliver pizza on occasion and there is no excuse for a warm pie in these days of hot bags. Ill be generous and score it 3 stars.

This place is OK at best. What I dont understand about Italian Restaurants in general in this area is why none of them have decent bread. I mean, is it that hard to get seeded semolina? The Bronx is like 30 minutes away and they deliver bread to this area. The chicken parm is not breaded properly it falls off the chicken. I ask for a side of penne...It comes with no sauce...LOL! I want to bring the owners of this restaurant to this place Avanti in Rockland County (Pomona, NY). You have that Chicken Parm hero and youd never turn back.

Best pizza ever had.the varieties are unheard off..this place is the next big thing in Paramus..knocked out competition that been there for years.. Lots my best friends been talking about that place but I didnt listen until one day was picking up my girl from super cuts and thought to check it out and it is addictive.lollll. Great attitude from all works and managers ..very clean inside ..bathroom represent any restaurant and there was clean and didnt smell.. U have to check it out yourself and u will not regret ..

Nice atmosphere. Food was okay. Unfortunatly did not come out the way I ordered it or my wife. We wanted pasta on the side with the sauce separate. We got all the food together on one plate. I ordered a espresso, it came with no lemon peel. Came with a large spoon, not an espresso spoon. My wife order a cappuccino and this was the worst cappuccino she ever had. It came in a large coffee, cup half way filled , hardly any foam. And warm at best. Coverd in cinnamon. We will not be going back. Dinner for Two .

Skip it! Really tastless food and management. The Pasta Fagioli had little or no garlic, onions or even a hint of pancetta. The sandwich I ordered was skimpy and tasteless as well. It came with the cheapest meat and cheese. I called and tried to return the uneatable food and the so called manager offered me a free "something" next time. All I wanted was my money back, as I would not care to try anything else from these bunglers. Sad to sad that didnt happen. Go some where else!

Mangiamo has the best thin and thick crust pizza in North Jersey! My favorite is the Tuscan with home made mozzarella, roasted red peppers, mushrooms and eggplant. Its an experience worth having. Another favorite is the eggplant dinner with eggplant, fresh mozzarella, the best sauce and your choice of side. It also includes a garden salad that is fresh and interesting. The have takeout and delivery, but we dine in and the place is very comfortable, clean and the service is great.
