Booked the party room for a baby shower. Booked 3 months in advance. We called 3 times to be sure all was going to be ok. We visited and ate there while reconfirming 4 times and set room setup, menu and price. Week of the shower called again. Each time we we told "whatever you need". He said come in night before to decorate. Got there night before found the room filthy with dead bugs in it and being used for storage. Owner Hadgis said he didnt know we were coming. Told him we would be in at 9 am to decorate the day of the party. Get it cleaned! Came back in morning and it had not been touched! Finally pushed him to get it cleaned so we could decorate. Our 24 guests were arriving at 11. At 11... No food ready. It didnt show up til 12. Our drinks arrived at 12:30. There wasnt adequate dishes or silverware. Had to keep asking for things they forgot like napkins, straws, ice for drinks, the fruit bowl, salad dressing. Never did get the chicken strips I ordered but he was still going to charge for them. What nightmare! When I went to pay him he tried to overcharge by $3 per person. Sad. The food is good. The price reasonable and the servers very nice. The owner...has a bad attitude, is unorganized, runs a dirty restaurant and treats his employees poorly. I saw him berating 1 for having problems running a credit card. Had his does not need to be in food service. Do not try booking parties at this location.

Never give this american hating pos a dime of your money. He talks so much awful stuff about all his american customers. He treats his wife an all other women like trash. Hes a alcoholic pig who abused my friend emotionally and physically. He should be in jail not allowed to continue doing what hes doing. Dont ever work there.. Almost everyone who does is gone shortly after because of his behavior and when they leave he threatens their families an their lives. He should never be allowed to run a restaurant. #facts

This is a very personable restaurant! You literally get to eat a home cooked meal and enjoy the company of the owner & his family! The prices are reasonable & they aim to please! They serve fresh breakfast ALL DAY! We had the best waiting staff that we have encountered in New Port Richey this far! Very polite & respectful and our cups never ran dry. We will definitely be back again!

Now called The Corner Family Restaurant. We both had the Prime Rib dinner with salad, and two sides ($12.95). Pretty good flavor. Great service. Definitely want to come back for breakfast. Large selection of burgers and sandwiches ($6-$8). Modest selection of dinner options ($7-$10). Daily specials (eg Prime Rib). Large breakfast menu. ($3-$9).

I have to disagree with a few of the previous posts as they appear to be from a former disgruntled employee. The restaurant is spotless and the prices are reasonable. The owner makes it a point to cheerfully greet every customer after they are seated. The server Tanya is always on top of things and has a great sense of humor.

Worked here 4 days, I dont understand how this has passed inspection, it is so disgusting, if people saw the conditions in back this would be closed. I gave this one star because I had to but I would never eat anything there. Took this as a second job so I cant justify serving filth to people, take antibiotics prior and after

Just moved up here and this has been our new weekend breakfast place for a month now. Excellent food, and great service. They have a ton of options on the menu, so I can come every weekend and find something Id want to eat. A+!
