Ive been here 4 times and definitely not coming back. The food is good yet here is the reason why I will not come back to Blue Agave: unfortunately, the waiters and waitresses feel that they can have horrible service, get your order incorrect, make you wait for your food because they forgot about you and still expect that a patron should pay for the food because they finally bring it out to you after 45 minutes - Oh, and feel right about over-charging you when you have to walk up to the host and ask for the bill because the server forgot about you again. To make matters worse, the manager/owner made the disorganized servers feel as if they did fine, takes the blame and not take any money off to keep a loyal customer. No one has time for bad service or wants to pay for bad servers. I let the 1 out of 3 times of bad service go, but 2 out of 4 times with bad service is too much! Get rid of your bad servers or change management! Its one or the other because you just lost another great paying customer. DONT TIP AT BLUE AGAVE!

I will never return to this place again and will warn everyone I know. I took my wife out for dinner last night for her birthday and the service was not the best but i was willing to over look it since the food is good. Our order came to $52.28 and when they waitress came to get my check I gave her a $100 to pay she went to the cashier which was within 20 feet of our table and gave him our check and money. He changed us out and she brought us the change on one of those little trays I picked it up and noticed it was short $20 I waived and tried to get her attention but she didn’t pay attention. I went ahead and walked over to her and let her know I was shorted money she then got the cashier who was busy talking to his son or family member who was hanging out. I never told them how much i was shorted he walked over to the drawer and just pulled a $20 out and smiled at the waitress and handed it to her neither one of them said a word or even asked to count my money to see how much they shorted me..... BEWARE BASED ON THAT

We were seated and finally got to order 15 minutes later. There were for other groups that were seated about 20 minutes after we got there and they all got their food long before us. After we said something about it we finally got our food. At the register I told the man about the lousy service and all he said was to not too tip the server whose name was Jesus by the way. He didnt offer to make it right in any way at all. He acted like he really didnt care. We spent almost two hours in this place and it was just for the two of us. We will not be back.

I came here for lunch with my Dad on a Wednesday around 1pm, the place was mostly empty, so we were seated right away. The service was excellent, the place was really clean, and we ordered the fresh guacamole and a waiter came and prepared it for us at our table with fresh ingredients! Best guacamole I have had in a long time. My dad got the Ceviche, and I got the Avocado Chimichangas. Both were fantastic, and I took any leftovers of everything home cause it was so good!

Our favorite place for dinner on Friday evenings. Lively, great food and lots of choice. It can be super busy around 6 - 8pm with lots and lots of families with young children making it somewhat on the noisy side. However the food is amazing and the table guacamole is stupendous. I usually have the veggie fajitas - but everything tastes delicious. Try out the jumbo margaritas and Dos Equis beer during happy hour - you wont regret it!

The restaurant was very noisy. Good for groups but not for a quiet dinner. The food was good but had to work at it a bit to get it spiced up enough. Surprising for a Mexican restaurant. There was not even a hot chili sauce on the table. The wine selection is poor. I ordered sangria. It was too sweet and not very fruity. Our waiter was efficient (we got what we ordered) but not at all welcoming. Almost had a hostile attitude.

Food was good. However the menu is extremely deceiving on prices. If it says $5.99 for a margarita it means a little shot glass full of ice and juice. Not a margarita. In fact the waitress lied on our tab and charged us extra, for everything. After arguing with her she knocked our bill down a few dollars. Then when we got home we realized she overcharged is for two other things. Place is sketchy as hell. Never coming back

Great Mexican restaurant with a professional customer service minded staff. We had a very large group with separate checks, which is usually very difficult for servers. It was handled very fast and accurate by the servers at Blue Agave. Should we ever make it back to New Albany, we will visiting again.

, always a great place to eat while I am in Ohio is always fresh and the steaks are killers thin size steaks but still really good.. 1-6-2017 , I agree the service could be better the servers always act like theyre doing you a favor.. Im home. Steaks the chicken is always fresh soft and good

Food was flavorless. The tacos were ice cold. There was no spices in the taco meat at all. The server was rude and unfriendly. All these reviews said good things, this was our 1st and last visit here ever. The chimichanga was not cooked all the way through. The chips were not fresh.

Blue Agave has incredible food. I recently had there fresh Guacamole (Which is made at your table) and was blown away. The authentic fresh indigence and atmosphere has made this the only Mexican Restaurant I will go to.

I just finished eating here. The guacamole was made fresh at our table for only 2.99! The staff was sweet and the service was fast. Each dish was prepared perfectly. I will definitely return.

The freshly made guacamole is the best I have had in any Mexican restaurant in Ohio. It reminds me of the ones I had in Arizona. Nice selection for lunch, and service is fast too.
