This is the first time my husband and I tried this place -- we found it by accident. The food was very good and quite filling. If we had known how good (and how many) their french fries are, we wouldnt have ordered potato skins (which were also good). Loved the decor, and our waitress was very sweet. I would bet my husbands only complaint was that there werent enough dark beers on tap. We will definitely come back again.

Only one animal product free option: Spicy Bean Burger. I dont like beans, but wow, was this good! I got extra pickles, and sweet potato fries. I was over charged by $1, 8.95 vs 9.95, and our food took a while... But later on a Tuesday. Food was great, service was great, so Id recommend, but probably closer to a 3*.

Glorious! Wonderful old style decor and perfect low key atmosphere. I cant believe it took me 3 years to discover this place! Will become a staple. Good drink selection and very tasty food. The service was outstanding and more than friendly, never once felt just like a customer to get in and out for the next.

Local Bar and Restaurant in center of the small farm town near our home. Service and menu selection is always consistently very good. The food has always been fine, the wait staff friendly and courteous. Historic photographs of old Johnstown, Ohio in the late 1800s early 1900s are fascinatting.

Got fries and chicken wings at the least busiest time of the day. Once the food was served we barely saw the waiter after. My wings a little undercooked. The fries were great tho. The wait was okay. Its too over priced to get what I got. Wings were big. Would rather go to roosters.

Service was great. Reuben was good and Cole slaw had good flavor but fish (& chips) was soft and no flavor. Not many entrees and one of them (meatloaf) was sold out. No specials. Said theyre about to change menu but they said that a couple months ago when we were there.

Food was good, and atmosphere was nice. The night we were there a large party was going on upstairs and so everything took longer for us. Our waitress had tables on two different sides of the restaurant. And we waited 15 minutes to pay.

This place has gotten me sick twice, and Ive gotten cold food twice. I suspect the two things may be related. It does look nice on the inside, and the ingredients seemed high quality, but the execution is a catastrophe.
