Horrible service! The food is decent but the service completely ruins the experience. Firstly, we werent even acknowledged when we walked in. No, "Hi, welcome to Grill One Nine. Instead I had to request a table for three. She said she would be right with me. After about 10 minutes I saw some tables available and no one being seated so I walked up and asked for a table. The hostess forgot about us I guess and asked me again how many we had then seated us without menus or silverware. I had to get up after. About 15min. And ask for menus and a server. Finally a server came out and took our drink order. We put in our app order. Food was delivered with no plates or silverware.Waited 10 min while food got cold to ask another server to speak to a manager. Our server finally appeared with the rest of our app order. Water glasses were empty and our finished appetizer plates were sitting on the table and the server asked if there was anything we needed..reallly?? I said we could use a refill and the plates cleared. I had to tell her this..she didnt care to actually look and do her job. When a "manger" finally came out she apologized explained that they were new, the place was closing and they were trying to get their side work done. I work hard and when I decide to spend my hard earned money at your establishment I dont expect half ass excuse for poor service. The customer comes first. Period. $70 tab for what? Okay food? The experience is 50% if not more of why people like to eat out. Our whole night out was ruined. Steps of Service definitely needs to be taught and enforced. This place needs better management and organization or its not going to last.

Let me start by saying the service was horrible. I called in a pickup order and was told the wait a minute and the I was hung up on So I called back and no answer. So I called again and talked to the same lady who had an issue with taking my order. Once my order was placed I waited the 30 minutes they said it would take. When I got there my order wasnt even started yet and they didnt put my name on the order. i wasnt mad until I got home and started to eat my alaskan role that was missing the smoked salmon. I called the store and she acted like it was fine. She ask me for my name and told me they would give me the next one free but they said it was made the way it was supposed to be made. She never apologize or me feel like the care about it just acted like I was bothering her. On the menu it says it has smoked salmon with skin not burned crunchy skin. I said ok and told here to have a good night. Went back to eatting my food and couldnt get past the missing smoked salmon that Ive eaten there before a lot of times and was the only reason I ordered the alaskan role. So I called back and asked for a manager. The girl told me the manager was out. So I asked what the managers name was and when he or she would be back. She tells me that he would be back later this week. Ok..... So whos in charge? Idk but I will never at grill one nine again.

We ordered a bunch of sushi off the happy hour menu and the server says, "you picked a lot of sushi, you can only take home 16 pieces all the rest you take home are at full price." I understand that to an extent but we ordered 16 rolls between the two of us, that we are more than capable of finishing. In an attempt to disrespect us more the server came over to say "your rolls will be out soon, we have BOTH sushi chefs working on them as it backed up our kitchen." So after all this we shortened our order. Then they shorted us a roll. When I said something they then brought out the wrong roll when confronted. Piss poor attitudes by staff and the "sushi God" as the cook called himself. All said and done because we shortened our order and got shorted a roll we went home not full. I will never return due to arrogant staff. I wish Google let me put zero stars as thats how we were treated.

The server named Nataly is a down-right thief she put a gratuity on a 5 person table on the June 11th after we told her we tip well and then we processed to give her an extra 40 dollar tip because we didnt realize she gave herself one. She then lied to her boss about circling the gratuity on the bill, we only knew about this because we took pictures of the bill because we thought we were over charged. Then the boss gave us a 40$ gift card which wasnt filled with money apparently even though it said 40 was on it and went in today and got a phone call from the boss saying we didnt pay the bill even though we used the card we thought had money on it because the manager gave it to us and then they said we used it on fathers day even though we were in a completely different city on that day. I will never eat here again, it is a lying thieving establishment.

Sushinis great, be to box are a great deal but sometimes I avoid Grille 19 because of the poor service. Its not always bad but this is one of my favorite lunch spots and even with a not-so-busy crowd I have gone back to work with my food completely boxed and late at that. I work less than 5 minutes away and I feel 50 minutes is plenty of time for a part of two who know what they want when the drink order is taken and unfortunately, it has shown not to be more than once. While I would recommend this restaurant if you have plenty of time I would avoid it around peak times of you are on a schedule. I also dislike the strange hours. Open for lunch, closed for a few hours, then open again..

We found strands of hair that were wrapped in the napkin along with the chopsticks; our waitress replaced them with new ones which had the same issue. I ordered an entree and we requested that the sushi and entree come out at the same time; that didnt happen. Those who ordered the sushi didnt have plates; we requested them from our waitress. After several minutes we went to the sushi bar and obtained plates from them. Several minutes after that the waitress showed with the plates. The food was of average quality. Everyone in our party has had better. We came to this restaurant for a birthday celebration; we heard this was a great place. Needless to say we wont be back.

A manager is never available!!!! Spent 100$ on take out order and paid by CC. We always tip in cash but as soon as Tessa saw there was no tip on slip she became nasty!!! She slammed cash drawer, huffed n puffed, and gave a dirty look. While she was doing this, my husband was getting her and the sushi bars cash tip from his pocket. Very rude!!! Attitudes have changed last couple months and I refuse to go back until it improves!! Been trying to reach a manager (day and night) since end of aug.
