I have to say that I am deeply disappointed. In the past we have visit this miakos because it is a hassle to park in South Miami. I dont know if we will go to any of them after tonight. My wife and I came into eat here tonight we sat down and we order the Sushi Mori for 2. We requested brown rice and one salad, one soup. We got the soup and salad, then about 15-20minutes later we got our boat. Our dinner was spoiled by the fact that the rice was White not Brown. We complained and our waiter "Muoi", wanted to change it. I told him no and my wife and I ate the fish with out the rice. We were not going to wait another 20minutes. We ate as much as we could and paid the full Price for the meal. When we I got the check I was hoping at least for an apology from Muoi or the manager but we got nothing of the sort. So for this I will not be returning. People dont understand now a days that when you go out to eat it is for the experience not the food you can make food at home and be happy. I guess they dont know how to give the experience anymore just food.

Miyako is the best sushi restaurant in town. Ive been to many sushi restaurants accross the USA. Miyako by far is the best sushi Ive ever had. Ive been eating at this Miyako since they opened right after Hurricane Andrew. Every time I eat here is like a new experience. I love Miyako of Dadeland. Thank you to Chef Mamuro and Chef Toshi for making our sushi experience like no other

The service was excellent if not too good. The sushi was good and came for a good price. I also tried the curry which was good, although missing a few flavours. All in all, the food was somewhat good (depending on which dish), the presentation was wonderful, and you will never be calling for a waiter. Check it out!

Possible on of the best Japanese places in miles. The selection its very good and the sauces are amazing. You can taste the difference in the Tempura sauce and the Ponzu. This last one is freshly made every morning. I havent find a better ponzu sauce anywhere in Miami.

Used to frequent their old location when I was a kid, and Im a customer to this day. Some of the best sushi around, alongside fresh, authentic Japanese food. If youre looking for great food in this vein, look no further.

Sorry to inform everyone. But Miyako has a rodent and insects problem. While i was there i saw more than 4 little guys running around and even saw some in the food. Just thought i should let everyone know.

Sushi was good enough, not great but fresh and well put together. Service was attentive but inefficient. Didnt get offered more tea, badly paced delivery of food, just not a great night of service.

Got takeout at 5pm on a Sunday. Took about 15 minutes to get 6 rolls. Pincecrest, Rainbow, JB, Tekka, California rollls were great. USA roll was ok but my least favorite. Would definitely return.
