The aesthetic of the place is definitely a raw materials/urban vibe yet with a comfortable seating area similar to chipotles decor and other newly established fast casual restaurants. The workers were all great and very friendly. I highly suggest getting the bibimbap in the hot stone bowl to keep your food warm. We ate as a group of 6 and some people mentioned their food was no longer hot, but mine was steaming hot even halfway into my meal. The beef was very flavorful and delicious. I noticed there was not a lot of rice in the bowl, which is fine with me as I enjoyed the fried egg, beef, and plentiful toppings (sautéed onions, carrots, sprouts, zucchini, and greens). If you love rice you may have to order some extra rice. The bowl was filling though! I tried the BBQ burger also. It is not a hamburger patty, but the strips of Korean beef BBQ with a saucy mixture of mayo and their own additions. The fries that cane with the burger were large, crispy, crinkle and delicious! I actually enjoyed the burger a bit more The tofu udon plate looked great as well and my niece said she enjoyed it as well. If the wings were as fantastic as I am used to Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) being I certainly would have rated this place 5 stars. I am used to the super crispy wings offered at Bon Chon and other Korean restaurants. While the wings here were pretty good and we enjoyed the sauce I wish they were the extra crispy type I was anticipating. To be fair, they didnt mention them as KFC on the menu, maybe they only offered regular wings here? But if you crave wings, by all means order them! Just dont expect the extra extra crispiness. I would definitely add this to my list of restaurants that I would visit again. Conclusion: go here and try something new :)

Amazing!! Spent 48 hours in Charlottesville and ate here twice is was so good!! Really cool atmosphere and great reasonably priced food. Owner and staff were super friendly. Food was prepared quickly and was really fresh. Everything we ate was great. Dumplings, Chicken wings, Barbecue plate (see picture) made for an awesome dinner. Happy hour specials on draft beer and appetizers from 5-7. Had a lunch box the day before which was so good we had to go back the next day. I will be dreaming about the Korean beef BBQ until I can make it back to Charlottesville.

Five reasons for my five stars. I came over to this place finding a Korean restaurant a hike at Crabtree Falls with my family. First star, is the environment was nice modern setup, a little small. Second, good service. Third, at the moment, a simple straight-foward menu, not much in variety as other restaurants (this may be a negative for some). Fourth, the food taste great. Fifth, bathrooms are nice. (yes, for me, having a nice bathroom experience is an important factor to any restaurant).

I like spicy food, but my dish was a little hotter than expected. I suffered through it (in the good, spicy food kind of way). Other I talked to who have eaten here havent had the same experience so it may have been the dish I ordered, the enthusiasm with which I said I wanted it spicy, or the chef that night. A good location if you want to eat somewhere off the Corner or the Downtown Mall as it is located smack between the two.

Fantastic! Super fresh & delicious. Seafood stew and Bibimbat were both excellent, and pickled vegetables side complemented the spiciness very nicely. Service was warm, friendly and attentive. Ambience is cool, urban chic rough planks industrial lights that the owners did themselves, including the sweet concrete countertop tables and bar. Highly recommend!

Ok, so the bibimbap was really damn good. Ive been to Korea and countless Korean restaurants and this is a good bowl. The service tho....took forever. I waited at least 10 minutes just for water and a menu. Ill try again, but when theres an owner clearly standing around doing nothing while patrons dont have menus or water - that doesnt look good!

Delicious food. Super flavorful, generously portioned and well priced. We both had lunch the next day. We sat at the bar and everyone was very pleasant and attentive. Only two taps but plenty of other options. Pleasantly surprised by how awesome this place is. Good vibes. Love the interior design.

The food is quite good, very fresh. At lunch, you pick up the food at the counter and it is served in a cardboard box, which I found a bit annoying. At dinner apparently there is table service and you get a plate instead of a box. Ill come back for dinner.

New and cozy place in Cville. Absolutely great spot to grab a lunch or gather for dinner. Modern, simple, fresh way to enjoy Korean food. Staffs were friendly and helpful with the new dinner menu. Lovely atmosphere. Yes, nice bathrooms are always plus.
