The food was amazing and the chef was excellent, but I will never eat there again because of the waiter. I had ordered a water with lemon, which he confirmed with me when he was writing down, and got no lemon in my water which no big deal by itself. Next my oldest son was given white rice when he had ordered chicken fried rice, in which the waiter made it a point to run over and argue with my wife that she had changed his rice to white rice instead of accepting the fact he made a mistake. Even that I was letting slide, but the last straw was when the waiter brought the bill he had wrote the amount for an 18% tip. I asked him to split my bill between to cards and he asked if I wanted to put the on one of the cards and I said I would like to write in my own tip. He comes back and lectures me that the with size of my party, which was three kids , two adults, and a toddler that had apple juice that it is customary to live 18% and he was going to leave what he had written out as a reference for my which was insulting to me. Little did he know I have an associates degree and a bachelors degree and have taken plenty of math courses and I am more than capable of figuring the 18℅ tip that you suggest as a tip on as a note on all your bills making no reference to size of party. If his service was good I could have even wanted to leave 20% but your not going to leave my lemon out of my water that you confirmed, argue with my wife that she is wrong, write in your tip amount, insult my intelligence and expect to get 18%. For that I will never eat there again.

I came here for the hibachi dinner and made it very clear that I have a shellfish allergy. Usually most places cook your food separate in the back but they still did it on the grill here. It didnt seem like my food had been contaminated but obviously something happened because for a week now Ive broken out in hives all over my body. Ive been to the doctor twice and am on 4 different meds and am miserable. I went in to talk to the owner and they refused to admit that hey had made a mistake and insisted that they are very clean. They wouldnt accept the fact that they had made a mistake and did not apologize which made me very angry. Im just warning you if you have a shellfish allergy DO NOT EAT HERE. Go to Nagoya in Port Clinton, its the same thing, a little more expensive but worth it.

Favorite place in town for sushi and hibachi. Lived here for 2 years, was worried we wouldnt find anything like our local sushi bar in Miami. But this place was a pleasant surprise. Our regular order, gyoza, harumaki, and Kermit rolls (and hibachi chicken for my son who says no to sushi) are to die for, and colleen our server, is so wonderful. we ask for her every time. If your looking for the best sushi place in town, this is the place to go.

Awful!!!! Do not give this place a second look. I was actually yelled at by a chef in front of my children when they were in the wrong over miscommunication by the staff. Left even before we ate do to how we were treated and then they tried to force us to pay for food we ordered but did not even get to eat due to no other customers coming in to fill the Hibachi table. I should of called the cops.

The food is excellent. The sushi chef is extremely talented and the portions are HUGE. Ive held HUGE events / gatherings / parties here with as many as 70 people. This restaurant can accommodate just about any need. Two people could easily split the hibachi. Favorite sushi roll: Philadelphia Roll dipped in yum yum sauce with a drip of soy sauce! :o)

I was not happy the way they have prepared the food and taste was not good because first I had ordered Chicken and Shrimp but I got steak in my food which made me really mad, second the chicken wasnt cook properly. and third presentation want that good compare to other hibachi restaurant. Please I wouldnt come here second time.

I know about Japanese food. At the Samurai Steak House they try real hard. The service is good and the food is fresh but it a little bit too Americanized for my taste. The food is really good. The prices are good too. I recommend it if you dont have enough time to fly to Japan for dinner.

The sushi is decent, though over priced. My family and I called in to ask if they were open, since they had a, now open, bikers welcome sign on their door. They said yes they were, yet after getting to the door, we were turned away

We came to dinner here while visiting Kalahari. I loved it! The Hibatchi Chef was so funny and the food was soooo good! We had the hibachi steak & shrimp with fried rice. We had the shrimp tempura sushi as an appetizer delicious!

Good food, may be slow (if youre eating on the hibachi side) but thats to be expected. Family friendly and some good entertainment. Not usual busy before the dinner rush. Been here several times already and love it!
