For each delivery the food has been hot. The drivers have always been exceptional and kind, even got a magnet for my fridge. Only one driver has ever confirmed my identity prior to handing over the food. It may be convenient and faster not to validate, but it should be fluently implemented to further assist in the companies credibility. There are a lot of improvement to be made to the app. I understand that its tricky to mimmic a dynamic menu, for that the app compensates with a comment like section for user requests ( and they have always called to confirm any doubts or inquires). The only critical problem I found with the app ( may be specific to Texas Road House, im not sure) is when selecting the entre options, the required fields had also required me to buy the extra side dish ( cant remember exactly, something similar to 1up the meal with a half stack of rips). The user cannot continue until they have selected this optional option. Thus they have to pay upfront even if commenting that they do not wish that option. Thats really it, just work on expanding that app. Maybe make a program that can parse a resturants digital menu (the file before it gets printed) into your app/serverdb/etc. This may already exist, but it would be what I would do if it was my company. Tonight was my second order. First one went off without a hitch and the food actually showed up early. Tonight however was a completely different experience. After 12 hours at work I thought I treat the wife and I to some steak. It was raining and we were both exhausted so we ordered from Doorstep. Now the menu page stated that long cook time from Texas Roadhouse may cause a slight increase in time ... AND they charge more for the food for some reason. I ordered regardless at 6:06pm. It is now 8:37pm and still no food has arrived. The wife gave up and ate something else. I am still waiting ... but go to bed at 9pm (12 hour days remember). Debating if Ill answer the door and just dispute the charges in the morning. They got to 9pm. 2 Stars for now ... since the first order was awesome. EDIT: Right after I wrote the above the driver showed up. I may give them a third try ... to see if it was just a fluke. EDIT 2: Just listened to a vmail from the owner. He apologized for the late delivery and discounted the bill. Sucked that the food was late ... but I appreciate the good customer service. Back to 4 stars. We will see how a third order goes.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! they estimate my delivery time for 1 hr from order. I find out 5 min after estimated time that the order was "just" recieved i call in to complain and find out what they will do about it. the customer service agent tried to give back the 5 $ delivery fee on a 30 $ order for it to be an hour late! she asked would i like to speak to a manager, i say yes. 1 min later a random number calls me and its "the store owner" not corporate or a manager and he begins to tell me 5 $ is best he can do then starts to yell at me that my order isnt big enough for him to care about that his 100$ orders are more important and if i dont like the 5$ back he would just cancel the order! the whole time hes screaming from his personal phone so corporate doesnt hear him be like that to a customer "no matter how small the order is". worst business owner ive ever dealt with and now me and my wife have to figure out what to eat and where to go because i wasnt worth caring about.

My order is missing so many things... It was my first time ordering from doorstep... Edit 9/27/16 and if you call them and point out their mistake that I am missing 4 indian bread ordered 5, they will not take lightly. Today I ordered from doorstep again because I have fractured my leg so I cant go out. I got a call from them that they refuse to deliver today and in the future too thats what the guy told me on the phone. If you want their service in future give them good reviews and god forbid dont call them to point out their mistake. otherwise they will call you and refuse their services. FYI they didnt refuse because they charge $4.99 for delivery service and didnt give them extra tip I gave them $15 extra tip when I used it first time. Then I opened the package and my order was missing some stuff. So I paid extra $15 for a missing order.

I would them less than a 1 star, if it was possible, but since its not, 1 star will have to do, we ordered our food at 7:55pm from them, I was given a 105 minute window, which in itself if ridiculous, but it was rainy, so I dealt with it, 88 minutes went by, food did not arrive, but i received a call from someone in the office not apologizing for the delay, but just letting me know that one of the add ons I ordered would cost an additional money, so I asked when the food will be here, obvious it hasnt been picked up, and he advised me its only been 88 minutes, and i was quoted 105 minutes, well 105 minutes came and went, and finally after 125 minutes it arrived at 10:05pm, no apology, or anything, we will NEVER order from them again, the concept is good, but their timing is awful, no one should have to wait over 2 hours for dinner.

I would normally give this a much higher review but after tonight definitely not. I placed an order at 5:45pm estimated delivery time of 6:40. It is now almost 10:30 and i never received my food nor a phone call. They just didnt show up or bother to call. I placed an order at a decent time so my family would have dinner at a decent time. I wound up having to feed my daughter something else(which is no big deal) but when it got to be 9pm my husband and i were starvin so we went and ordered pizza. Absolutely ridiculous Doorstep.Never showing up?i placed an order almost 5 hours ago and no apology call? Worst service ive ever encountered.

I am over this place. This will be the last time I use doorstep. Two of my meals missing biscuits and not only that the hour later time estimate when my food was to arrive I got notice it was just given to the driver. I call and manager said it will be to me in 15 min 30 min later arrives. But by then I cant take my lunch at work so by the time I can eat it it is soggy chicken. Not worth the $30 I spent. My office orders often not sure now. The drive was not the issue at least he made it seem it was not his fault.

Online ordering was easy and they accepted cash. I got updates texted to my phone the entire time on the progress of my order. when they arrived and the lady was very professional in night I was expecting some young delivery kid not the professional that showed up, I was surprised. all my food came hot and prepared exactly as requested and everything was here. Overall a plesant experience. five stars will definitely be using again!!!
