Did not like my eating experience here at all..came in about 30mins before closing and the host seemed intent on sitting us at a regular table instead of at the hibachi table but after insisting we were seated at the grill..the server was rushing us to order our drinks and food..very rude and unprofessional.. lets get to the food..the rice portions are dismal to say the least..same for the rest of the meal..we ordered steak and shrimp and my wifes ny strip looked more like a thick strip of bacon..it used to be that you came to these places and left with a doggie bag but not here..for what they charge its not worth it..i recently had a gastric sleeve done and i still was able to finish my meal..just a bad dining experience with rude hosts topped off with sub par food...will absolutely never set foot in this place again and to be honest wonder why this place is still in business..go to kobes instead and get your moneys worth!!

This place is a dream come true for sushi lovers. All Im going to say is, if you love sushi, immediately give this place a try (especially if youre near the area). I live all the way out at Americana and I drive all the way out here at least every other month to treat myself. Thats how good it is. The $21 all you can eat is a value that cant be beat, and the desserts, while limited in choice, are to die for. My only gripe with the place is the asian club music that plays half the time. The music can sometimes get on my nerves and might do the same for others, but the amazing food is more than enough to acquire my forgiveness. If youre ordering from the all you can eat list, I recommned the Lobster Fantasy!

I ordered two sushi rolls for take-out. One of my rolls was the Meow Roll and it said so on my receipt. If you look on the menu it says, Meow Roll: Shrimp, krabmeat, cucumber and avocado with cream cheese. They completely left out the cucumber, avocado and cream cheese! In place of these missing ingredients they put a bunch of tempera flakes then put mayonnaise sauce over the top to try and mask the fact that they completely lied. If I pay $9 for 6 pieces of sushi TELL ME in advance if you do not have the right ingredients instead of lying about it and trying to cover it up. There are better, honest Sushi restaurants in town like GEKKO Sushi, so we will not be going back to Robata.

Had my sons Birthday dinner a little early so his granddad could join us...we went to Robata Japanese Steakhouse and had a TERRIBLE experience. They have a birthday special, so we asked for that and they wanted ID for a child...even asked for his passport or birth certificate!!!! The service was terrible, the food was mediocre, and the manager was an jerk! We didnt leave a tip and the server came out and said.."No, tip...you no leave tip". I explained to him as I explained to the manager, THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE!!!!! What is wrong with people?!?!?!

The food was ok but the service was absolutely horrible. Server was rude, tossed silverware, salads, etc at us & was untruthful. We dined there on a Sunday and server told us for each adult entree, the childs meal is free. When the bill came, we were charged for the child meal & he said he didnt say that. Even though we were 6 adults who heard exactly what he said. Ill never go back there again. Very bad experience with the service

Its not a fancy sushi or hibachi restaurant, but the service has always been quick and courteous for me, the food has always been as good or better than I expect, and the prices are either similar or lower than comparable locations in the area. I definitely recommend the lunch specials for a good sushi lunch value. Come in here expecting a family restaurant, not a big city spectacular and you should not leave disappointed.

The food and sushi are wonderful, but the service is really... bad. Like, they charged me for a to-go box. I have never heard of a restaurant doing such a thing, and Im naturally a light eater, so it just seems completely absurd. I would still recommend the place, but, imo Storm Sushi on Highway 50 is much much better.

An overall fun place to go if you want hibachi! The staff is very nice and attentive to your wants and needs. The food is great but the prices are a little on the high side. The decor in the actual restaurant is a little bland and doesnt feel like your typical Asian restaurant which is my only real "complaint".

Very professional cook staff for the Habachi. The owners are always willing to join in the fun times. The food is always fresh and delicious. The cooks make it very entertaining and involve you in the entire process. We go for birthdays, celebrations and just make up reasons to go. Affordable and delicious.

Do not waste your time or money coming here. Their sushi was so DISGUSTING that I wouldnt even feed it to my dogs! The Salmon was three different colors, it had a funky smell, and it was hot! I forced myself to eat 2 peices and thats all I could bare. I eat ALOT of sushi, but I wont be back to this place.

Went there for my sons birthday. Told them because the do something special. Other people had birthdays as well and they san and brought them something. Are check came and nothing. Very disappointing.....not to metion are cook seemed to hate his job. Over priced and mediocre food. Will not go back.

This is my all time favorite restaurant. Best deal on sushi pricing in central Florida. And I am an absolute sushi addict - I literally eat sushi multiple times a week in Orlando, winter garden, Ocoee, Windermere, etc. So any excuse I have to drive to Clermont always ends with dinner at Robata!

Our service was efficient and pleasant. Food was great, we really liked the chicken and vegetable tempura. I got three sushi rolls, spicy crab, salmon skin, and eel. Eel was the best, the other two were nice but nothing special. We will be back, I think its the best sushi value in town.

Great place! After a long day at the parks packed over capacity, we needed a good time. I did not want to fight the traffic on 192 and I-4 so I looked for a restaurant in Clermont. We chose Robata. We were very happy. Food was good, chefs were great. Very good place to eat and unwind.

Great sushi both times I dined here. I sat at the sushi bar and was offered a free krab salad special from the chef. The sushi was good and I will return if in the area again. I never had a problem with service both times, so maybe others just caught it at a bad time.

Food was great. Now time to pay for it, they claimed she "forgot" to include tip, then demanded we give her a tip, tipped her and they claimed it still wasnt enough they wanted a 10$ tip. First off your not supposed to come and demand a tip. Really pissed me off.

Its everything your Japenese Hibachi always is, with same chef tricks and clatter. Food always cooked as you ordered and wait staff stands bye for your saki and beer orders. Family run and most friendly and concerned that you are well cared for and satisfied.
