Dear Google Searcher, I love Grace so much that I began working in the restaurant. It is time for me to move on to the next chapter of my life and I want to share the experience I found within her walls during my service. Grace is owned and operated by my good friend and teacher, Mr. Darren Weng. Never before have I met any person so personally and intimately involved in their business on a day to day basis. He is truly the heart and soul of this restaurant. Grace is a family. Financial gains are merely a byproduct of the passionate collaboration of people who appear from all walks of life. Some Grace employees have traveled great distances from other countries to be a part of something greater than themselves. Other Grace employees have grown in Ocala their whole lives and mesh seamlessly with those whom find these lands foreign from their own. I am eternally appreciative of the opportunity I have been blessed with to be a part of such a uniquely evolved culture and loving family. I am thankful for the connections I have made with the people I have worked with and I implore all persons to visit this restaurant to experience for themselves the graceful spirit that lives within her walls. Went there for a nice lunch today and was unpleasantly surprised. First we waited for 40 mins at the table before the food was started. Not because they needed fill the seats, the table was full. Then when the cook came out it was like we were ordering all over again. We ordered extra rice, plus a side of rice for one of our entrees. She received the same portion and the rest of the table. When we said something, the cook thought it was funny and said she received extra rice and it was plenty. He was very unprofessional, the worst I have ever seen in a Japanese steakhouse. He even pulled out his cell phone while cooking to check his messages. The host, which wouldnt disclose his name poses as the manger for any problems. I dont think customer service is very important to this daytime crew. The entire experience was far below any Japanese steak houses I have ever been to. Explains why we were the only table.

Let me start by saying that I love this place over 99% of sushi places in Ocala, and it wasnt the food, it was the service. We had Shelby as our waitress, and what an awful one she was. We ordered appetizers (fried rice and spring rolls), soups to go with our meal, and 4 sushi rolls. 2 of the sushi rolls came out in front of everything, then the soups, then 1 more roll. I had to ask about my spring rolls and rice and my last roll, and she rolled her eyes like she didnt even care. I asked why my sushi roll was lukewarm, and she blamed it on the kitchen. Didnt ask to fix anything, didnt apologize, didnt even offer us a to go box for the food we didnt eat. Needless to say, most of the food was on point, but I wont return until Shelby is no longer employed there.

Ive been there twice in the past year both times the food was good staff was friendly my problem is each time we had problems with our payments the first time my bill came to 22 something I gave the waitress $40 she comes back about 15 minutes after me giving her the $40 saying I only gave her 20 became a big deal they were going to pull tapes but an hour later didnt want to wait anymore so I just gave them the rest of the change and left the second time it happened two days ago I paid with a card this time hoping to avoid any confusion this time my bill was seventeen I got charged once for the 17 and the second time for 20 I have no idea what the $20 charge is for it was just me on my bill so it should have only come to 17 and I tipped in cash

I use to work here and dont recommend working or eating here to anyone. Sketchiest job Ive ever had. They pay with personal checks, change what your getting paid whenever they want without telling you, and minors work without breaks. I was pregnant and never received a break. Employees showed up to work, even though their home was infested with bed bugs (a few of the men live together). I also caught one of the chefs cooking without a shirt on. The waitresses will eat off your plate before serving you. Its nasty, the people are rude, and I dont recommend it to anyone.

One roll had the pieces wrapped in a seaweed paper. They didnt do a very good job cutting the pieces after they assembled it. The first piece had the paper still attached to his brothers. Literally pulled apart the entire $15 roll just by taking one. Table was dirty as well with water rings dried in from the previous owners cups. All of the chairs were very uncomfortable as well. Im not used to a Lazy Boy or anything, but my back ached after sitting for only 20 minutes. Im too young for it to be because of me. Will not be returning.

I will never, ever eat here again. I have never had food poisoning and Im not a person who typically is sensitive to different kinds of foods but after I ate here I have had the most miserable night I have ever had. Ive been violently throwing up and I cant stay off of the toilet. My husband felt really sick as well, but did not get like I am currently. I get that food settles differently with everyone, but this is not an issue with something not settling right, this is a serious issue with the way they are preparing their food.

Got there was told a 20min wait, had to ask her to take our name down.....waited 30 mins, went to ask how much longer, was told about 30 to 45mins!??!! How about hiring a hostess that can do her job correctly, as I watched scores of other people go in and get seated while we waited outside. We were obviously skipped over as the peice of paper she wrote it on was not even in front of her!!! We went there last week and had a great meal. Went back expecting the same but obviously that did not happen......

Some people are allergic to shellfish you would think that they would make accommodation even in side dishes, but they refused. They told me that the shrimp side with something free that came with the meal and therefore could not be replaced even though the hibachi chef new and made my food outside of it. So I basically received penalty for an allergy. They really do need some work on being sensitive to customer needs or they will lose customers , and their food is nothing to write home about.

chef was boring and food was not very good. veggies severely under cooked and meat was over cooked with no seasoning or taste. Manager was arrogant and was not concerned about the poor meal we received. we paid 200$ for a terrible meal. chef messed up meals and guest did not receive their food or food items were forgotten . the chef and manager are NOT professional at all. Go to Tony"s . yamatos or even kotobuki .This place does not deserve your business.

The food is really good here. The management and the service is not. We added our name to the waiting list on our last visit. Our 20 minute wait ended up being over an hour wait. The manager crossed our name off of the list without calling our name. When we finally went to check she blamed us for not listening for the name. We were sitting right across from her the entire time. We did not get an apology or anything. We will not be going back.
