I would have rated the food and chef at a 5 star. We were having a family reunion and enjoying the food. Then we were asked to keep our voices down because there was a financial presentation at the other end of the room. We were at a public restaurant that we frequent often and we were not obnoxious. We spent over $400.00 for lunch this day. I am sorry but I do believe that this presentation should have been in a private room not in the public area. We were insulted, therefore we will not be back There are other Japanese restaurants in the area we will visit.

Do not waste your time! There is so much great food in the Villages. I had the worst food and the worst service. After bringing me my entree that was horrible and I asked to send it back after only the first bite the waitress then argued with me about how great it was and I was wrong. On top of that they only partially took it off my bill. Beyond disappointed. STAY AWAY!!!

Ive been coming here for years. Since this place opened. Service is usually good but lately Ive been getting the same server over and over again. Shes been here the longest and if youve been here you probably know who Im talking about. Very rude and very short. I have trouble pronouncing some of the items on the menu and she has just been very unpleasant.

The food was okay... The fillet mignon was a little dry. The whole experience seemed very rushed. They never asked once if a table of 6 if we wanted a drink refill. The soft shell crab, the spider roll, was very fishy. The guy who was cooking covered a womans plate with steak. ... She is a vegetarian. It was kinda funny.

Been coming to vki for over 5 years when visiting the parents. We always have at least one meal or more. The best deals are during lunch very reasonable. Weve ordered everything from sushi to the bento boxes. Fairly consistent throughout. Is it perfect, no - but a good choice when you want something different.

We live in Ocala and I was looking for a good sushi roll. This was a great choice not only for the food but the location is very nice to walk around. Will definitely come back! Found my sushi place! We ordered tempura rolls Volcano, Happy Roll and Hot roll the first two were the best! Good prices.

Always a great experience! I had the super yellowtail roll so good I had to order another. Quick service very nice staff. My husband sushi sashimi for one never enough for him. But, he then went a la cart for more sushi. Super place clean and tidy. Great time our second and not our last.

BE AWARE: If you go on a holiday (such as Mothers Day) they do not do lunch. They only serve dinner all day at dinner prices$$$. Their dinner has nothing extra that a lunch does not have. Seems a bit ridiculous. Service not great. Rating 3 stars because the food is pretty good.

I like going to VKI but it gets really annoying when you clearly tell them how you want your food to come out as but they STILL get it wrong when you told them multiple times. It keeps happening to my order every other time I decide to eat in VKI.
