This is absolutely the worst meal my family & I have ever had in any restaurant! We travel extensively (including many trips to Japan) and we all absolutely love Japanese food. While in Orlando for the weekend we, of course, wanted a nice Japanese dinner. First, I have to say that, this restaurant has nothing Japanese about it--it is Chinese all the way! The kind of food that is served here is lower quality and greasier than the kind you would get at a dumpy Chinese take out joint (only youll be charged 10x more at KOBE). In Japan the preparation of food and the way it is served is an art form. At Kobe restaurant the greasy slop was thrown on our plates like they were feeding livestock. The "chef" seemed to be pulled off the street that day with no training, experience or will. A true Teppanyaki chef is also trained in entertainment for the diners but our "chef" (he called himself Saki) offered nothing but the tasteless, greasy Chinese pig slop. The food we were served was absolutely not edible so we told the waitress. She had a supervisor come over but instead of removing the uneaten food from our bill he offered us a free dessert. How absurd! As though wed want to spend any more time in that place and get any more of their food. We were told the manager was not there but this was a lie. We tried to contact the restaurant by phone and through their website in the days following but received no response. Finally, and only after contacting our credit card company, a manager by the name of Van To called me. He was aware of everything and all of our attempted contacts but he refused to refund the amount charged to our card. About the service: the waitress was kind and did her job (it is not her fault that the food is so bad). The entire experience was very drawn out, from getting seated (even though there was plenty of seats available) to getting served. The point of the slow service is obviously to make people wait around so that they will maybe spend more money by going to the bar or ordering more drinks at the table. We were there for 2 miserable hours and then had to get some fast food on our way back to the hotel because we had no dinner. This company apparently owns a chain of these disgusting money machines in that Orlando area. Take our advice: DONT EAT HERE!

Even though this is a chain I loved my experience here. It was my birthday and they sat me right away even though there was a long wait. Prior to sitting down he hit the bar for some sake bombs and we found out it was happy hour. There is a late night happy hour that starts after 9pm. 4 dollar sake and 5 dollar cocktails was a great deal. They had food deals too but I was about to eat dinner so I didnt partake. The dinner service was great. The food was cooked perfectly and the portions were huge. You get both noodles and rice with each entre so be prepared to leave with lunch for the next 3 days haha. We did have some sushi and it was fresh and the rice was well seasoned. Overall the food, experience, and price made this a great night out. We were going to eat at epcot but this place was both funner and cheaper and about the same quality of food. Good work to the staff for putting out a good product.

An excellent, if a bit hokey, Japanese restaurant with Teppanyaki tables where the chef cooks in front of you and puts on a show. A must do when in O-town for our family. Show, ambiance, and the food especially are far superior to other similar restaurants. Great for families, even the little ones. Reservations are a must, especially on weekends, otherwise you may encounter a long wait. Be aware that you are seated in groups, so they may ask incomplete parties to wait for all of their members (you really should as all orders are taken, and food allocated, near the beginning of the experience). Pro tip: Their yummy white sauce is sold in bottles at the front counter, but is also available in area supermarkets (Publix).

So we went there tonight. Arrived 7p for our 730 reservation, the restaurant was empty and we were told well have a 10min wait. 725p I asked how much longer, we were told 1 more table to be seated before us. 3 tables after that, were still waiting. I had to ask what happened? I was told well be seated next and that our reservation wasnt until 730p to begin with. I tell you, its 740p and were still not seated and we arrived 7p. I guess I should have walked in and not even told her abt my reservation since there were plenty of people seated before us who came way after us. What happened to the 10min wait and 1 table before us? Worst customer service ever! Not going back to this place. Not worth it.

My wife, 2 daughters (5 & 7), and I came here for my birthday. My youngest has a soy allergy and they were more than willing and able to accommodate her needs. The chef made sure the girls were taken care of and had a good time. The jokes are mostly cheesy puns, but they still made us laugh. After the meal, the staff sang "Happy Birthday" to me as well as another person at our table celebrating a birthday. They gave the 2 of us cupcakes. The server brought out 2 extra cupcakes for my daughters. I had signed up for the rewards program and the Birthday reward ($30 off of an entree) made the meal very reasonable.

Celebrated my friends birthday and a couple of graduations around the table and they were very accompanying with every celebration we had. Our server Ian was very friendly and funny while our chef Nori made sure to not get our friends seafood allergy situated by cooking all the seafood at the end as well as his food was the best and his teppanyaki show was very flamboyant. The busboy Ray was very nice, polite and quiet and always was on top of his game. I would recommend Kobe, escepially this location as the managers Kim and Tommy made sure everything was great. Make sure to make a reservation!

Great dining experience here at LBV Kobe steakhouse. I came here to celebrate my friends birthday. They reserved us 2 hibachi tables. I ordered the kobe sweet teas which are refillable. We started with fresh soup as well as the fresh salad with ginger dressing. I ordered a small portion of chicken, vegetables, fried rice and noodles. They were cooked to perfection and a wonderful presentation. It was such a fun and exciting time just to see the chef at work. Also my friend had wonderful birthday as the staff presented him a special dessert and a chef hat.

I spent 40$ on a full course meal. The soup tasted like a cup of salt water. The salad had vegetables that were not thoroughly rinsed. I got the trio that came with steak chicken and shrimp and they were all burnt when I asked for the steak to be medium. The noodles tasted industrial to the point that i think they came directly from an old pack from the supermarket and the vegetables were not cooked all the way through. The fried rice had burned particles in it. The cake at the end tasted artificial and was one of the worst cakes I have tried.
