I had the sesame chicken lunch special which includes rice and a spring roll. The spring roll, while not bad, was far from memorable. It tasted like every other spring roll from any other Chinese "takeout" place. I understand that they bill themselves as a restaurant because they have a few tables and chairs but there is little other evidence to backup this claim. While sesame chicken is far from an exact recipe throughout the Chinese restaurant world it tends to taste somewhat similar across the board. This was a horribly bad exception. It was as if they created my dish in the same wok as they created a bunch of other similarly bland dishes. On the up side all the employees were very attentive and respectful. I was in and out in a bare minimum of time with everything I needed in the bag. If only the food could reinforce my initial impression, then this might be one of the better places.

Awesome place - been coming here for lunch for years. It isnt your cheapest "6.99 lunch special" Chinese joint, but it definitely strikes the best balance between refined cuisine and run-of-the-mill American-Chinese food. The appetizers/sides are kind of missable - the shrimp tempura is something awesome though. The entrees are all amazing. Respectable portion size (and I have high standards on that one), tastes like the sauce and meat werent store bought (though the sesame chicken isnt deep-fried with the sauce, a grave sin - everything else is excellent). Even the chicken lo mein has flavor, and thats a rarity with this tier of Chinese restaurants. If only it was just a little cheaper...

“For carry-out Chinese food in washington DC, this is where to go! Nothing fancy, no frills, and they dont claim to be something theyre not. Small storefront with a few chairs to wait for your order inside (we always choose carry-out.) Every time Ive stopped in, the place is hopping and the phones are ringing off the hook. Give em a break if they sound abrupt or dont coddle you on the phone - theyre extremely busy and trying to get your food cooked as fast as possible.

I ordered some food to be delivered. The man on the phone said it would be there in about 35 minutes. It took them almost an hour. I ordered some sort of noodles with coconut Sauce. Well it had no Flavor and the sauce was so fishy with no Flavor of coconut. I would never order from them again or recommend to anybody based on my expy.

The food here is really great for cheap Chinese. As with all Chinese food, dont come here of youre feeling a cold because the food will make you feel worse. Other than that, this Chinese restaurant is really laid back and the restaurant offers a wide variety of food. The staff is extremely relaxed and nice as well

Pretty tasty food, I really enjoy the spring rolls. It would have been nice to have more than one duck sauce. The staff is interesting. I was really Happy that they actually serve brown rice! The portion was nice as I didnt really want a lot. I wish they had low sodium soy sauce.

Ive seen all the great reviews of this resturant wanted to try so I called to order and it clearly say delivery and when I was calling to put in a order they replied we arent coming there TODAY how unprofessional is that I think I will pass on this supposedly great experience.

Its a halal Chinese restaurant something that you dont find easily. Visited Washington DC with the family. Had Indonesian Fried Rice and Kung Pao Chicken which were great. Would definitely recommend but its more casual eating then a formal dinner type of place.

Crazy fast service and friendly staff. Food aint anything gourmet but still yummy with little MSG taste so you dont get that weird furry feeling on your tongue afterwards. And portions are generous. Great if you need a quick no-fuss meal.

Food was good and plentiful - Delivery was fast. Only critical point is that the on-line ordering (which is operated by a third party) did not give any confirmation that the order was recieved by the restaurant.
