Awful Food ,Deceptive and Terrible service Temping menu because they offer Chinese,Thai and Sushi. I ordered Thai Chicken Green Curry , the driver showed up and rang every doorbell in my building ! Everyone came down to answer door at the same time and I had to apologize to all. When asked if he does this with all deliveries ,he said he forgot his phone at the restaurant. He also did not have any change lower than $5 There was not one piece of chicken in the curry ! Only Tofu ,( which I am allergic to soy). I called assuming they made a mistake on my order ,but guy who answered argued that every restaurant in the city puts Tofu in their Thai Chicken Curry !! I explained my soy allergy and that I order Chicken Curry almost weekly from various restaurants locally and never had this issue before. He insisted that I know nothing . I insisted he come pick up his "chicken curry"and return my money. I ate two pieces before noticing how extremely bland the sauce was. Three hours later and I have a rash starting and have to call again before another delivery guy comes with my money. Not sure how a place like this stays in business ?

Do NOT order the Pad Thai from here. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Also, the delivery was a bit unorthodox. The driver called me as he was on my street, and I had to go outside and meet him down on the sidewalk (I live in a house, not an apt!) He was not very nice, and reading other posts really confirms that. Food: I ordered hot and sour soup, and Pad Thai. The pad thai was hot pink, and tasted awful. I had 2 bites, and tried to give the rest to my roommates but they also hated it. Now I have an entire bowl of pad thai that will end up in the garbage, and I am out $15 for nothing. I contacted grub hub, and they said the restaurant refused a refund (wonder why!!) the best they can do is give me a grub hub discount for a future order, which wont be for a while since I rarely order takeout. Will not be ordering from this place again.

Wow.....this place has the worst food Ive had. Do NOT get the pad thai or any of their thai related foods for that matter. My pad thai didnt even look like a pad thai - it was dry, tasteless, and had "beef" that looked like the tiny cube pieces youd find in fried rice. Talk about GHETTO. Oh and stay away from their sushi - they failed to make a simple California roll. Seriously? I mean, the sushi roll was literally deteriorating as I was picking it up. FAIL. As for the delivery guy - he decided to give me $2 instead of $3 back when I asked for change...and then he ran off. Im not going to chase after someone for a $1, but that was TACKY.

DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM NORTH SEA as of August 16, 2017: you may order it, and pay for it. But it wont be delivered. The restaurant is closed for now. A company called Beyond Menus -- out of Chicago -- is taking orders, and charging you for them, but North Sea is not open to prepare the food you order. The older gentleman who opened and ran North Sea for nearly three decade ran a good restaurant and treated customers well. Since his family took over 6-8 years ago cost have gone up, while quality and service have plummeted.

I have generally enjoyed the food from here, but now three times the delivery guys have been rude or inconsiderate when delivering. The point of delivery is to receive your food at your apartment door. They always demand that I go down 9 floors to pick it up because they are "too busy" and then one of them even hung up on me. Awful customer service! I am not ordering from here again mainly because of the rude and disrespectful delivery men.

Ate here for lunch today. I ordered the vegetarian shrimp in black bean sauce. Im a vegetarian and was excited to see veggie shrimp on the menu. I have had it at Asian Bistro in downtown Silver Spring and loved it! It looked like actually looked like real shrimp there and carried a $10 price tag. Not here. Here it look like chicken and was even more expensive. Overall, it was ok but Im not in a hurry to go back.

This is the deal folks. They deliver 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and are located at a really busy spot (18th & Columbia). Yeah, the food is going to suffer for the fact that they have to turn out a really high volume. If you want food that is going to knock your socks off, this is definitely not the place. If its Sunday at 11:30 in the AM and you want sushi delivered to your doorstep, give them a ring.

I literally started vomiting the food as soon as I ate their fried rice. I dont understand how theyre still in business. I shouldve listened to my roommate who insisted that I not order from this place, but I caved in because it was the only place that would deliver to my place late at night. OH and dont expect the most friendliest delivery driver...terrible customer service....TERRIBLE everything, ughhh

We used North Sea as our catering restaurant for our Company and let me say it was awesome, we were hesitate at first because of the reviews, but decided to give it a chance. The General Tsaos chicken, Tofu Stir Fry was very yummy. The lady on the phone was very nice and kept us informed of the status of our order. We will keep their info for further Business Meetings.

Stop hating. These guys have been in Adams Morgan for like 10 years. Food is good, tons of veggie options and they deliver fast. Btw if you order sushi or thai food from a Chinese restaurant you are stupid not them.

Hmm, standard Chinese American food -- among other things. A bit subpar, but there isnt much competition in the area. One of the menu items made my companion feel ill after less than half her meal. Disappointing.

NEVER GETS ORDERS RIGHT. DONT WASTE TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE. EVERY TIME IVE ORDERED, TAKEN CLOSE TO TWO HOURS EVERY TIME, ONTOP OF THAT, ORDERS ARE ALWAYS WRONG. FOOD IS NOT WORTH THE TROUBL AT ALL.
