IF YOU DONT WANT TO READ IN DETAIL I SUMMED IT UP AT THE END: My friend had been booked for a 20 minute time slot to perform at 6:30. He had his lineup ready and they told him hed get paid plus whatever tips were for him after the show. The email told him to bring a CD with the beats on it which he did. Artist check in was at 5:30 and he didnt get in until 6:15 and they started letting non artists in at 6:30. He brought his whole family since it was his first performance, but they didnt start letting people start until almost 8 and he got his set cut in half even though another group got 30 minutes. The CD he brought couldnt be played because they dont have a CD player. made over $100 in tips from crowd members and everybody in the crowd seemed to enjoy him and even congratulated him outside, but he never got any of the money they promised or tips. When asked about his pay they just dismissed him and called security. In short, they kept everybody waiting 2 hours for a show to start, dont pay their performers (not even the tips they get), charge $5 for a bottle of water, and automatically calls security for reasonable complaints instead of dealing with customers

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. THIS WAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. THE MANAGER WAS SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND TREATED ME AND MY FRIENDS SO DISRESPECTFULLY. WE CAME FOR AN EVENT PUT ON BY A CLUB AT OUR SCHOOL AND WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO SPENDING TIME WITH OUR FELLOW CLASSMATES BUT INSTEAD WE WERE DENIED ENTRANCE TO THE CLUB AND WERE GIVEN NO VALID EXPLANATION. AFTER TALKING TO THE MANAGER ALL SHE DID WAS ROLL HER EYES AND TREAT US AS IF OUR GRIEVANCES WERE OF NO CONCERN TO HER. I WILL NEVER EVER VISIT THIS CLUB AGAIN AND I SPECIFICALLY FELT TARGETED BY THE MIDDLE AGED BOUNCER WHO NOT ONLY WAS EXTREMELY RUDE TO US (THREE TEENAGE YOUNG LADIES) BUT ALSO DREW ON MY FRIENDS FACE WITH MARKER BECAUSE HE DIDNT LIKE HER COMMENT. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO THROW AN EVENT I WOULD RECCCOMEND TO CHOSE A NICER CLUB WITH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. THIS PLACE IS DEFINITELY NOT WORTH A VISIT. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY FOR A CLUB THAT WILL RESPECT YOU NO MATTER YOUR AGE OR GENDER.

Worst place Ive ever been in the DC area!!! Showed up at 7:15pm, was told I would wait 10-15 minutes, we were not seated until 8:15!!! Then once seated we were told that the kitchen would stop taking orders at 8:30, and we would be asked to leave at 9:15 due to an event. The food was terrible, worst Chicken Pad Thai, Calamari, and Spring Rolls! Was only visited 5 times throughout our meal (take orders & drinks, give drinks, appetizers, main meal, check) but it was never the same waiter / waitress. As previous reviews say, the place is a physical dump, maybe a trasformed garage or something, as the interior is a lot of outdoor railings and concrete steps, etc. They even had a COED bathroom, like male and females share everything go in together and pick your own stall, while others are walking in. DO NOT GO!!!

The service was horrible, and so was the food. Sushi was so disgusting, that we left half of it on the plate; They served chicken laksa with no chicken in it. The waiter took forever before getting us the bill, or checking on us, while he saw that we were done eating. The place was really cold, and lacked the atmosphere. That all can be overlooked, but the horrible sushi cannot. The dishes were really expensive for what they were, while the portions were huge (which does not matter much if the food sucks so bad that you dont even want to finish it). Would recommend getting it from a grocery store over going to that place. No planning to go back, and would not recommend to others!

We went for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Indonesian Fried Rice which was Excellent, and we had Yellow Curry - pretty good, and a schezuan beef - just OK, Our sushi (tuna) was really good too. I was a little disapointed in the serving of my green tea (no pot). The portions are HUGE, it was just my husband and I and these 3 dishes were more than enough, we brought home the curry and the fried rice (again I cant tell you how good that rice was Im still thinking about it) We will definitely return to this restaurant.

Not a place I recommend. I ordered lunch for pickup on Seamless, which they had just started participating in. The guy at the front didnt even know they took Seamless orders. So when I got there, not only was my order not ready, it wasnt even started. Waited 15-20 minutes past when my food was supposed to be ready. Now, the food - the sauce served with the spring rolls smelled like antiseptic. The ramen was less than "meh". The location is run down, and the floor is sticky from it being a club at night.

I have been here twice and both times I was disappointed with the waitstaff. We had to wait 15 minutes to be waited on and then 15 more minutes for our drinks. The waitress rudely took the soy sauce bottle from our table to give it to another couple. The food was great, except the fried rice leaves something to be desired. The sound is pretty bad and you can barely hear the person next to you, it sort of feels like being in a cafeteria in high school. Its a shame because the food is pretty good.

Bouncer told my friend that she couldnt come in because she was wearing sneakers. We had watched several men go into the establishment with sneakers on and told the bouncer about about what we witnessed him doing. He told us that he pays attention to details and that he probably granted them admission because their shoes were Prada. So basically you CAN get in with sneakers... As long as theyre Prada. Im never going back and at the rate theyre going theyll be closed down in a year :-D

Pretty tasty mix of Asian foods. Ive ordered the pad see ew, various sushi rolls, laksa, and pad thai. Pad see ew was my favorite, the pad thai was ok. Seating can take a little while and the restaurant could use a little spiffing up (lobby sometimes feels not climate controlled), but all in all it was pretty good. Service was friendly; just wish they had stopped by more frequently for refills. Prices are standard DC prices, not super cheap, but not crazy expensive.

The food made me nauseous and the place looked incredibly run down with beat up decor and lighting that gave everything a sickly fluorescent glow. Ive had much better food from sushi restaurants in strip malls. I dont understand this place or how it stays in business! Service was adequate the night I was there, so I guess they have that going for them...

Do not waste your time or money. The food is fair. The atmosphere is drab, dark and dungeon like. The restrooms, I wouldnt even go in. The service was good, but after we found out that the tip was 18-20% of the check...we were shocked. Maybe this is the norm for the locals but for us it was too much. We will never go back.
