My Girlfriend introduced me to Green Ginger. I thought the food was pretty good. Had an awful experience today. We ordered take out. When we got home, they had put the wrong food in the bag. The receipt was right, but the food was wrong. (Should have checked... My bad...) No problem. We went back and since it was around 5pm, we didnt want to get stuck in traffic. So we let the manager know that we wanted to eat it there. Again, no problem. I order a beer. Domestic. So, when we finished, the manager, not anyone from the wait staff, but the manager came over and left a bill on our table... Ok... Again, no problem... $5 bucks for a beer. Ok, not asking for anything free, but we have eaten here a few times. My Girlfriend eats there all the time. I work in the customer service field, and so does she. She walked up to the manager and simply asked if the beer could be comped since we were inconvenienced by having to come back to the restaurant because they got the order wrong. He said he was not able to comp the beer. Really? You cant comp a $5 beer? Which actually only cost you a dollar? Really? What type of customer service is this? Not trying to over react to the situation, but we didnt ask for I dont know, free food! So, let me get this straight... You screw up the order and you charge me for the inconvenience? Umm... Yea... No!!! Will not be eating there ever again. Not saying anyone else shouldnt, but if they screw up something, dont expect any true customer recovery service. It aint gonna happen... Its sad that customer service has gone the way of the Saber toothed tiger...

This place is my go-to when I want Chinese takeout. I think the quality of the food is quite good for what it is compared to other Chinese takeout. In fact, Id give the food 4/5 stars. For example, the General Tsos chicken has sautéed broccoli, red & green peppers, and pineapple-- yum! The big problem with this restaurant is service-- Id give 1 or 2/5 stars depending on the day. On multiple occasions I have ordered from their online website only to find out well over 60 minutes later (after I called) that the kitchen never got the order due to a malfunction with their software. Once I just cancelled the order after waiting about 90 minutes because I was too hangry to deal at that point, especially because they hadnt even started making the food. Other times they have thrown in free soups and spring rolls to make up for the mistake. Today, I called and placed a simple order of General Tsos chicken with spring rolls and was quoted 30-45 minutes. After 70 minutes I called the restaurant back and was told the driver was en-route and would be here in 10-20 minutes. I mentioned that I was quoted 30-45 and just wanted to be sure to which the man on the phone replied that deliveries usually take about an hour. Oops? The food arrived about 80 minutes after my phone call and wasnt very hot, which happens sometimes with their delivery. I keep coming back for the food, but the service is enough to dive you crazy.

Im sad to report the quality of this facility has decreased / declined with the new management over the last many months. I have given many different trys and re-visits. Order many of my favorites and a few new dishes. Im sad to report the Sushi is no-where near as good as it once had been. I usually like the dynamite roll. The last three times I have order the roll it has come out cold (it is a toasted roll, makes for a soft seaweed wrap) and the eel is sliced way to thick. I have also had the poor luck of getting spines / bones when eating sushi with eel. I did not have this problem in the past and it is a recent development. The wait staff has had a large turn over as well. When picking up lunch to go, Ive been informed that my order is wrong because I order it wrong. Ibe been ordering the same way for 4 years, it did not become incorrect until management and new staff came into the equations. Ive used Eat 24 and Grub Hub to order online, they consistently get the order wrong when placed through the website. If you try to call you get left on hold and forgotten. While having lunch at the bar one day I witnessed this happen to an individual who had called and requested to speak with the manager. I will simply be looking to get my Asian cuisine fix from one the other fine establishment in the area.

Awful experience. I had one hour for lunch from 12 to 1pm. I got there at 1215 with my group of 7. Were were seated quickly and I decided to order the ramen in beef/mushroom broth with steak and carrots. About 1235 came around and I started getting a little anxious and inquired about my meal. I was advised that they are trying to rush the orders but because they had just opened up at noon that its hard to rush the kitchen. Well whats the point of opening at 12 if you are not ready to serve at 12? 1245 came around and I inquired again and advised that I would not be able to eat in time so requested to cancel my order. The server had no issue with it and again made excuses about opening at 12 and the kitchen not being ready to take orders. He came back about a minute later and said my order was almost ready if I still wanted it. I told him bring it on and ill probably take it to go. My bowl of noodles arrived and to my displeasure and shock, they prepared me noodles out of the package. Yes the ones you smashed everyday in college at 50 cents per package! I asked the server about it and he confirmed that is what they used! Never going back! EVER! They should be ashamed to try to chare $15 for that crap! smh

Mom and I went here on New Years Day, as we were looking to try somewhere we had not already been in the area. We both enjoyed our food and the waiter gave good service. However, the manager refused to accept the Scout Mob deal for a discount. Reading the fine print on Scout Mob, the holiday was not excluded and the deal should definitely have been honored. Nevertheless, the manager insisted that he would not honor it, and that the owner had specifically instructed him not to. After that, they printed out a crappy sign on 8 1/2 x 11 paper in about 14 point font that nonsensically said something to the effect of no specials today, and taped it in an inconspicuous place near the entrance. I told the manager that if they would not honor the deal, they would lose otherwise satisfied customers forever, but he would not change his stance. Shame on them; also, really bad business decision. Of course, we have never been back and never will.

I wish I read the reviews before I came. I wanted to order take out. I came to the bar and the guy behind the counter looked me in the face didnt speak smile or anything. They are very disorganized and unprofessional. I odered the build your own bowl. I wanted shrimp and scallops he charged me 5 dollars extra for both when I saw that you could get the seafood combo for just five. He unapologetically told me he charged 10 dollars extra because I would get more seafood. I wish he would have said something before. I get my order. There was literally 4 shrimp and 2 scallops split in have. I asked for a refund for the noodle dish and kept the shrimp appetizer which was disgusting. I will never come back. I dont think they favor black people because the owner/manager refered to the white customers with a "yes maam " I saw his demeanor change with me even though I was being polite. The moral of the story....read the reviews first!
