The deli is phenomenal and anyone who is from Northport, knows it! The food on the steam table for the lunch hours is prepared by a renowned chef and anyone who has been to a wedding that has been catered by them knows what I am talking about. Lets put it this way, how many DELIs do you know that have a chef that is of such a high caliber that they are not only able to cater weddings on the North Shore of Long Island but they are sought after. They are the house caters to the Vanderbilt as well. As for the guy who said he worked there. 1st off, I actually did work there and can attest to everything I have said. However, this priceless quote of his says it all "I helped build the renovation." LMAO - Umm, did you mean reputation? Yeah, umm you see the thing is spell check wont help you if its the wrong damn word all together! So obviously everyone just totally disregards that review anyway

New to area so I thought Id try the place out. What a mistake! Stood waiting forever for service while the counter help ignored us. They seemed to be caught up in doing nothing I guess. Then was given an attitude when I asked for help- very politely I must add. To top it off, the food was TERRIBLE! Everything we got was tossed out. The stale bread sandwich. The old, crumbly, dry muffin wrapped in plastic wrap (for probably the last month or so). The tasteless salad, all thrown out. Bad attitude, bad food -Never again.

Looks decent enough but do not waste your time here. They have consistenly screwed up my chopped salads and I only went back bc I didnt know where else to go. Their sandwiches and wraps are nothing special. Youll wait a lifetime before you get your food and your lucky if its what you ordered. Extremely slow even when not busy and not very clean behind the counter if you know what I mean.

In my opinion, Northport Deli makes the best deli sandwiches/heros in the world. The Lumberjack is their most popular specialty sandwich, which I get every single time with a regular ice tea. The two other popular delectable/signature heros are The Mardi Gras and The Johnny T.

Deli sucks over priced asked for a chicken. Cutlet sandwich and they sliced two pieces off the cutlet and put it on a roll and changed me $7.00 for it and it was nothing special. Never going back

I saw first hand how the staff is treated. Dispite liking the sandwiches I cant support a business that treats theyre employees with no respect. Plenty of other places to go.
