I will give them two stars, and that is pretty generous, for a couple of reasons. 1, I really like their interior design , the red and black and grey looks really cool. Also, the sauce that they used on their Hibachi meals is absolutely delicious. It is a little different then most other Hibachi places I have been to. However, they messed up our order twice. The cook asked everyone how they wanted their food, and my boyfriend asked for his steak as rare as they possibly could make it. But apparently the chef doesnt understand English well, and only knew what the words "well done" meant. We kept asking him to take it off of the grill, begging him not to ruin it, and he just kept nodding and saying "okay well done okay well done." We kept saying "no! Rare! Its done, finished, perfect, please take it off the grill! Please, its done!" And he just didnt understand. The steak was medium well, if not well done, by the time he took it off the grill. And then, when we ordered dessert, I asked for vanilla fried ice cream, and the waitress (who also apparently didnt speak English) brought me the green tea regular ice cream, not fried. Which was gross. I asked for the manager because I didnt think I should have to pay for food that wasnt what I ordered, but they also didnt understand English. Luckily I had a groupon, though. Aside from the language barrier, it was good.

Koma is a great place for large groups of friends who enjoy a fun atmosphere, delicious drinks, and asian cuisine. I am a sushi person myself and would recommend the dragon roll or the rainbow roll if you want sushi for a meal otherwise, the maki and sashimi pieces are all very fresh and make a great appetizer. For other food: the hibachi tables are fantastic! The chefs are fun and entertaining and the food is cooked to perfection, you wont get overcooked meat at Koma! Takeaways: Reservations: they have them but theyre usually unnecessary, plenty of seating I have never had to wait. Service: Food comes quickly and staff is very friendly! Had one instance where we waited but they were extremely apologetic and gave us a discount on our meals. Happy Hour: 4-6 but they also have a late night happy hour sometimes. Deals: Theres a great Groupon and if you download their mobile app they usually have good offers. Birthdays: Hibachi tables are the way to go! they will bang a gong through the restaurant, bring desert and sing "Happy Birthday" !

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars until the bill came. The service was good and our chef was fantastic. We were a group of 5 sitting together, but 2 of us were on a separate check. When the bill came there was an automatic 20% gratuity added because we were a "group" of 5. While I have no issue whatsoever paying a 20% tip (I would have given more), but there was NO mention of this by the wait staff or on the menu. When we confronted the manager he said this is a suggested tip, not required, and that all the restaurants add this when you are a group of 5. I have never come across an automatic gratuity of 20% for a small group of 5... Such a shame, as I really enjoyed this place. However will not be back any time soon.

Was really disappointed first time there was great but this time was awful where do I start there was a drink spilled and they just watched while we cleaned it up ourselves then the cook was gonna shoot sake in the adults mouth so my son wanted to do it so the cook used lemonade lucky it didnt get in my sons eyes then after he cooked the rice he took his dirty towel to wipe off the grill then he cooked the shrimp when he was putting the shrimp on my sons plate he dropped one on the table so he just picked it up off the table and throws it back on my sons plate nasty we the cook started cooking we never seen the waitress til the end and they wanted to charge us $30 gratuity NOT

I brought my two children, ages: 6 & 11 in the other evening for their first expirience with a Hibachi restraunt. I was blown away at the excellent service we recieved! Everything was beyond all of my expectations; from the balloons (sword & dragonfly), the suishi and its presentation, to our amazing Hibachi master chef! He was so interactive with my children and very patient, especially with my persistent six year old! Our food was beautifully portioned and cooked exquisitely! We will definitely be returning to Koma for all future Hibachi dining as well as reccommending this restaurant to our friends and family! Thank you for an amazing expirience!!

We went on a Thursday night. The place was not busy (maybe 4 tables in dining room had people and a couple of people at the hibachi tables). We were seated and waiting at least 15 min for a server to come over. No one ever came to the table, no water was even brought over to the table. The fact that we had a child with us and they didnt even acknowledge we were there was more than enough of a reason to walk out. On the way out the managers by the door said "have a great night". We replied, at least you are acknowledging us now that we are leaving and your service is horrible.

We took our father to Koma for his 88th birthday. We sat at the Hibachi table since my 7 year old grandson came. Our chef did not disappoint. We began with their special cocktails, for an appetizer we had a spider roll which was delicious, for our dinners we had filet mignon, lobster tail, scallops and teriyaki steak. After we ate, the staff brought a special dessert for dad and a free one for the little guy while banging a gong and singing Happy Birthday. It was a perfect evening for the whole family.

I took my family out for Japanese food from Koma during week end. I ordered lot of rolls and Hibachi with Shrimp and Chicken and extra rice with egg. The Hibachi was not well done and egg in rice smelled and tasted raw. I would never go to Koma again after this experience, I would rather go to Sakura Garden Japanese Steakhouse. They are lot better than Koma

Im always looking for the new grub to hit the scene. Having seen this place finally. I can say Im not missing anything. Taste of the beef was adequate at best. Not so much flare in the food. Interior is a confusing fusion of Indian, American, and Japanese styles. Maybe thats typical. Either way. A place you should try once while in the area.

The place is awesome. Nice decorations and atmosphere is making me wanna sit down and grab a drink. Friday night, a little busy but just few mins wait. I was sitting at hibachi table along with other customers. The service was quick and food was delicious. The chef was funny, and talkative. I definitely will be back with my family!

Solid sushi joint but nothing to write home about. The portion on the sushi for two is enormous. We only needed two orders of sushi for two to feed six people. Everyone left feeling stuffed. Quality of the fish is decent. The salmon seemed fresh but not a choice cut. Good Tuna and white Tuna. Wait staff was very attentive.
