HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. Just moved to downey and was looking for a local pizza place. I waited 2 hours for delievery. They first said that security at the gate got it( I dont have security) I walked across the street to the building with security. They had no idea what I was talking about. Then when I called back, my GF/Wife got it( im home alone) then I spoke to the driver, he tells me he sold it to someone else and it is my fault because I should give more detail address. It is a simple address of the small building......nothing difficult plus he had my phone number. Now they tell me they are closed and Im a"ed out. This place is a joke. Being a business owner myself, I would have offered something, anything. if the oven was already off, a cold sandwich, salad. a coupon....anything. Dont support a business like this, they has to be other options here in Downey. I dont know of any yet, since I just moved here.....hoping there is......

JUST GOT HOME FROM DOWNEY PIZZA COMPANY. WAITED 15 MINUTES TO SEE A WAITRESS. FINALLY GOT A WAITRESS TO TAKE ORDER. OF DRINKS AND FOOD. DRINKS ARRIVED, FINISHED DRINKS AND COULD NOT GET A WAITRESS FOR ANOTHER DRINK. WE HAD TO GO TO COUNTER AND PLACE OUR ORDER OURSELVES. FINALLY AFTER 30 MINUTES PIZZA ARRIVED FOR CHILDREN. 10 MINUTES LATER PIZZA ARRIVED FOR OTHER PEOPLE IN OUR GROUP. I HAD TO GET UP AND ASK FOR KETCHUP AND GET OUR SILVERWARE BECAUSE WE HAD NONE. OUR GROUP FINISHED EATING AND MY ORDER OF LASAGNA WAS STILL NOT AT TABLE. HAD TO REMIND WAITRESS OF MY ORDER SHE DID NOT EVEN REMEMBER. SINCE EVERYONE WAS ALREADY FINISHED EATING THEY PUT MY LASAGNA IN A TAKE OUT BOX. THANK YOU FOR THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN A LONG TIME. I WOULD PREFER TO GET A PIZZA AT 7 ELEVEN, AT LEAST I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TO EAT. WOW ARE YOU REALLY SAYING YOU HAVE 4 STARS.THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE.

Ill be honest, Ive never dined in here. But Ive had their pizza too many times so itd be a shame if I didnt review them. Their pizza is my fave. Theres all kinds of pizza so for reference.. I like bready pizza and thats exactly what they had here. It was bready without being too much bread (like a deep dish pizza) and there was still a crunch and bite. The pastrami pizza is iconic. Who would have ever thought mustard, pastrami, and pickles as a topping for pizza would work? Its so good. If you want to go traditional they have most of the renditions of common pizzas here so you dont even have to get the pastrami pizza if you hate pastrami. I probably wont ever eat here unless the opportunity shows up and I dont mind because the pizza is good and thats all I need.

Ive lived nearby for years and it was our first visit. Even though it was pouring rain outside, the restaurant was full. We could see why. Their food is beyond delicious. We started out with seasoned potato wedges, they were nice and hot right out of the oven. The seasoning was flavorful and there was a small crisp with each bite. We ordered a medium pizza. Half Italian sausage, half mushroom and green peppers! When we lifted the first slice, the cheese was slowly stretching to gooey goodness! The crust had a great crunch and softness to it. For dessert we had to try their home made tiramisu. Totally worth it.

Super loud, tons of out of control kids, awful customers, waited long time time for our pizza. When pizza arrived, it was the wrong size... Waitress apologized and said she would eat the difference but when the bill arrived she charged us the large price (we ordered the medium)... Other then that the pizza was okay... All the negatives and okay pizza, wont be going back.

The pizza is delicious! The cheese and and tomato sauce had my taste buds singing, "Im in heaven." "This is where I want to be everyday of the year." BEST PIZZA AROUND THIS UNIVERSE. ....Btw, the staff are warm and friendly. Go there. You will be happy you did! ...What are you waiting for my friend?!

food is good but you have to make sure you EMPHASIZE not to over cook the pizza otherwise you will get TOASTED pizza. other than that, the prices are a little high (IE 3.00 for a soda) but its ok, service is ok, some of the waitresses are nice while the younger ones are just that "acting young"

All I have to say is wow. The pastrami pizza is one of a kind, a unique taste. This place doesnt just have a one hit wonder, the veggie pizza we had was great as well. Plenty of toppings, the sauce was thick and flavorful the crust was fluffy. We had leftovers and they tasted great reheated.

The Pastrami Pizza will replace ever having a pastrami sandwich again. Its a stellar leftover as well. If my wife finds out that Ive been had DPC and didnt bring home some for her, well lets just the response is somewhat akin "oh its fine, just fine." Five stars is not enough stars!

I ordered the Downey special pizza. Pizza was falling apart and was oily, greasy, and I complained and they took it back and made a more of a mess and then the owner/manager gives me a look like it is my fault their pizza is all screwed up and looking like a jig as pizza from hell.

The food is just ok! We ordered pizza, wings, potatoes, and lasagna! We picked up pur food and it was just luke warm. The wings and lasagna tasted like frozen lasagna. Actually, I think the frozen kind might be slightly better. The only thing that was decent were the potatoes. :(

Just ordered a pizza from hearing so much good things. Apparently they dont know how to make a veggie pizza. Never have I been so disappointed in a pizza place, the pizza was soggy and felt super limp. And for the price of 20.50 and a 5 dollar tip, totally not worth it.

Best pizza everrrrrr. And when I say best, I mean it! Great service. Great atmosphere, they have a bar area as well. Known for their famous pastrami pizza...so delicious. I ship their pizza in a cooler to my friends in Sacramento. They die for the pastrami pizza!

I had never heard of pastrami pizza and decided to try it and I loved it!!!!!! Im pregnant and had a problem with throwing up everything I ate and I didnt throw up after eating this and ate more than 1/2 of a large pizza!!! lol

Pretty good experience. I dined in. Despite it being crowded and calls coming in, the server was very attentive and the food came out promptly. Food was good I had the Italian calzone. Highly recommended.

This place is of the wall delicious their Pizza is the best in town....they have their own pastrami Pizza that is the best I have ever had ever....if your ever craving Pizza this is the place to be...

Pastrami pizza was the bomb! Also their boneless wings. Could of had waiter come refill our drinks regularly. So tipped him accordingly and Im know for tipping 20-25%. His loss. But food was great.
