This used to be my favorite place, we would eat here all the time as many times as we possibly could. Then I ended up finding a hair in my food because the sushi chefs dont wear anything to hold their longer hair back. I wouldve let it go had they taken proper precautions to follow health code standards. Not to mention their customer service following the incident was worse considering we had been giving them mass amounts of money for about 4 years straight. Havent been back and never will be.

Excellent place. Wide variety of rolls both traditional and originals that you cannot find elsewhere. The atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly. They remember their clients and treat you well. I always feel welcome here and encourage everyone to try this place. I love the volcano for something fancy and the california roll if you love simplicity. The chicken gyoza are a must as an appetizer

Delicious sushi and very affordable. We always get the lunch special - 3 rolls plus miso soup and salad for $12. My fiance and I come here at least once a month. With a generous tip, $33 for the two of us (without any drinks besides water). Rolls are tasty, made well and dont have too much rice. Theres also a beautiful view of the Denver skyline across Sloans Lake. Highly recommended.

First time here after a nice walk at Sloans, we were seated very quickly. Food came pretty quick after we ordered. Fried calamari seemed fresh and dipping sauce was delicious. My friend and I agreed the spicy crunchy tuna and salmon was nicely crunchy, roll was small but the amount we got seemed perfect. Lettuce for the salad wasnt my preference, but miso soup was good.

This was our first trip to Shiso and it was AWESOME! I saw their rating was a 4.2 so I was expecting an okay experience, but I was extremely surprised. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The food was very fresh and very flavorful. My brother-in-law was in town from Seattle and is a very good judge of sushi, and he was impressed!

This sushi restaurant is one of the hidden gems in Edgewater. Not only do they serve a variety of options including brown rice, unique appetizers and oysters, but they also deliver locally (and often quickly). I am a regular here and I have to say over the past few years, their quality has improved.

Delicious sushi at a fair price. They have a large variety of rolls, both traditional and not. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are always really friendly. This is definitly my go-to place for Sushi on the west side of own.

3 stars. Less than Average sushi. There is better sushi in denver. If you are looking for cheap sushi its ok. If you know good sushi you will be disappointed. Also no oysters. Thats why we came.
