Ill admit that the fajita flavor at Pappasitos is hard to beat (in my book), but their prices make them a rare occasion for me. Las Palomas (now called Rancho Palomas?) is pretty darn good! I have not been disappointed by anything I have eaten there, their prices fit into our budget, and the staff are very friendly and family-oriented. It is nice to be remembered when you return to a place and treated like a special guest. Did I mention that they have a by- request, secret spicy salsa that, when mixed with the regular salsa, makes the chips and salsa experience even better?

I ordered the 4 person party pack and was over charged as the price on the internet quoted a lesser price. Then they forgot to give me the sour cream that came with it. I had to go back twice. I will never give them any more of my business and I will not recommend this restaurant to any one. I wont be back and I told them so. There are numerous Mexican Restaurants in the Kingwood area that are much better and give great customer service. Such as Chachis Mexican Restaurant in Town Center.

We really enjoyed the food in this small, local restaurant. Generous portions and very fair pricing. Everything was really tasty. Very popular with locals and it filled up rapidly in the evening. Unfortunately the waiters seemed to be a bit too rushed with the popularity in the evening, and a few items were forgotten until we were able to catch someone rushing past and ask. A small matter, but hence 4 instead of 5 stars, though 4.5 would be more accurate!

This is our go-to for Kingwood TexMex. We love this place both for dining in and getting carry-out! At least once a week we get a fajita "party pack" for dinner. Dining in, we love love love their salsa. The fajitas are delicious. I also am a big fan of their ceviche, yum yum yum. Just good, consistent TexMex comfort food.

Always delicious, and prices and atmosphere cant be beat. Amazing place, and my go to for my weekly Mexican food fix. Highly recommend! ✌

Excellent food and service shame not enough families support this good family ran business. If you want a margarita order in a frozen mug. Only thing that bothers me is my frozen rita melts to fast unless in a frozen mug. Come on kingwood jump on the wagon and support Los Palamos.

I felt I could have gotten more for my money elsewhere. There wasnt anything special about this place for us and we paid $31 for two small quesadillas and Chile con queso. Worth trying once, but not worth a repeat visit if you want authentic Mexican food.

My family adores this place! Reasonably priced and usually not too overcrowded. Its the best Mexican food we have found so far in the Kingwood area. We love the carnitas tacos and the salsa is delicious! Wait staff is friendly and very attentive.

The Atmosphere is very nice. A bit dark (bring a flashlight for the menu) but overall very nice. The food is average texmex fare. Service is good and value is good. There are so many texmex joints in Kingwood, This one does not really stand out.

As far as Mexican restaurants in Kingwood go, this is one of the most authentic ones. Im giving it five stars for the authenticity and the good service. This is not a fancy place, just a good, honest place serving good, honest food.

Pollo Rumba: grilled chicken breast, the "rumba" is the shrimp, grilled onions, mushrooms, spinach, tortillas, all in a special creamy white sauce. Served on a steaming hot cast-iron plate. A Fiesta in your mouth.

This is a great local Mexican food restaurant. In my opinion it is better than el ranchero. The only issue is that the margaritas are average, but that is true for most of Mexican restaurants around Kingwood.

Nice small Mexican food establishment. The wait staff is great and quite attentive. Not extravagant, but a great place for the classics and well priced. We also like to catch breakfast here every so often.
