I went there for dinner with my wife last night and it was the worst dinner Ive ever had. My mango chicken tasted like rubber. My wifes general Tsos was dried out and it was just plain gross. We ordered sushi and it never came. I didnt even touch my food other than that one piece of nasty chicken. The waitress didnt even ask to take the food off the bill. The last time I will go there. And then she had the audacity to say ok Ill take the sushi off the bill. Gee youre a genius since you never even brought it out

This place is extremely overpriced and overrated. The sushi selection is below par and the Hibachi is also. The waitresses are very pushy and it seemed like they were trying to quicken our meal to get us in and out. The guy who did our hibachi was very rude and would intentionally squirt sake in our faces and all over our clothes. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Dont go, save your money and eat somewhere else in New Haven.

Here, I have met worst server ever. He was acting with a prejudice as he saw me before and hated me! He throw me and my girlfriend to a table, shocked by the selections we made and act as he would love to kick us out. I was calm thinking that might be a bad day for him but saw him on other tables smiling. Totally bizarre. Gave two stars because even if the rolls was not in good shape, they were tasting good!

This place is right off Skiff street which is a main road. I will say that when we first walked in the place was packed so thankfully we made reservations!!! We waited a few mins for the Hibachi area but it was worth the wait. The Cgef was amazing and the food was delicious. My Family and I certainly had a great time and cant wait to do it again.

The food was pretty good with the usual coupon in the local paper, but the waitstaff was terrible. They acted as though it was an inconvenience to them that we ate there. Also, all of the waitstaff sat around watching a wide screen television while the hibachi was taking place. The t.v. was set to an inappropriate movie for most younger kids.

They forgot half of our food. 4/8 items. It was takeout though. So buy at your own risk to drive back. Also, the rice is ok. Although we got the money back for what they forgot so thats barely acceptable. Id recommend going elsewhere or cooking at home since you wont forget half your food. Guess I can cross this off the list.

They have great sushi. Ive never tried the hibachi, but it looks fun. I usually go for the half priced rolls (on weekdays, I think). The service is always good, but I just love them for their tasty food. Try some of the specialty rolls! You wont be disappointed.

We visited at 8pm. There was no rush. Staff was not keen to serve us. They served food but not with pleasure. Quaralled with us for tip. They wanted to know reason for low tip. We decided not to go again.Not happy about third grade service.

I find myself thinking about these spicy tuna rolls all the time. Kumo makes the kinda rolls you can fit in your mouth with out them falling apart. The rolls are fresh and light. I love Kumo.

Pretty standard stuff, good place to go if youre in Hamden. One time the wait was ridiculously long, but it was Valentines Day so I cant really hold it against them.
