We heard about this place on a sports show on the local radio. Being how we like to support the local and small business we gave it a shot. Quaint little place and cute decor. They were friendly to seat us. We ordered a omelet and pancakes, we asked a question about if we could get the pancakes in the smaller dollar shape for which we were advised no and instantly offered free coffee to make us happy when we asked if they were frozen pancakes, most places that make their own pancakes know how to make then in smaller sizes but either way we were ok with the regular size but its always worth asking. So our food came out. The pancakes are made fresh but they didnt taste very good.. after a pound or more of syrup they tasted a little better. The omlet was passable but after the order we didnt see much of our waitress.. either we scared her with the question or she just didnt care. Asked us how our food was while our mouths were full..;). She never came back to fill our drinks(water) or to take away empty plates (which i saw her do at the table behind us and stopped there to talk several times) and when the check came someone else brought it and took it away and brought the credit card back. Just didnt seam very friendly at all.. Either we caught them on a bad service day or the sports radio show guys have no good taste in breakfast food.(maybe they are fiends of the owner) Either way.. that was my first time there and my last. A little goes a long way and im sure they know how people spread a bad service more than a good service.

We had a great breakfast experience at this location. I ordered the Sun-Up breakfast and my wife ordered the Basic Breakfast and two coffees. The service was great. My breakfast had the best scrambled eggs over country potatoes and onions sprinkled with cheese. The toasted English muffin paired nicely with the jam. I had some of the local Italian sausage, which tasted like some Ive had from the Chicago area. I will go back because I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and you can tell the people are good at what they do.

Excited to go back! The quintessential American greasy spoon! While each item may not be the BEST you have ever had they are darn GOOD. The overall quality is very pleasing. The restaurant seemed very clean, and most of the staff appeared eager to help. Possibly the owner was very busy making sure his employees and customers were all happy, and this is perhaps why everything ran smoothly. Having a cup of coffee and sitting at the bar seems like a nice way to spend tomorrow morning ;)

Found this place on a trip just passing through Denver. The four of us walked in, sat at the dinner style bar, and were immediately greeted by a very nice waitress. She was very helpful and the food was amazing. Four stars just based on service alone. The fifth comes from the most amazing eggs Benedict Ive had in a very long time. Also, the pecan cinnamon roll was a hit between the four of us. Great place. Id recommend it to anyone looking for a good breakfast.

I went to a birthday brunch celebration here, and it was charming. My dads wife wanted to celebrate her birthday there because they are regulars, and everyone who came to the party was treated like a celebrity because the staff knows my dad and his wife so well. The food is tasty, and though the place feels a little more traditional than modern, they are attentive to dietary needs and there are several options for vegetarians here.

Sunrise sunset has the best pancakes I have ever had. We come here for the spring and summer every year, and since Ive had their pancakes I dont have pancakes anywhere else now. I wait the whole time were gone to come back and have breakfast there. They make the batter from scratch every morning. The staff is great, very friendly. Also the homemade cinnamon buns they make or amazing. Go hungry.

over $7.00 for what they consider a BASIC BREAKFAST is crazy, two small eggs, a very light portion of dry potatoes, and a hardly toasted english muffin, with overcooked hard bacon. Not even close to what I expected from a small famijy place. I do not recommend this Place to anyone looking for a great meal at a even close to fair price......

This small restaurant is one of the BEST restaurants I have ever eaten at. There were five of us and everyone enjoyed their food. Im from out of state and wish they had restaurant like this in Kansas City. Staff was very nice also. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. I thought the prices were good.

I would not even give it one star if possible. I had the pulled pork with fries. My pork was DRY tasteless and cold. I got 9 fries. I counted them. Service was very very slow and we could not even get the servers attention to get water refilled.. And it was spendy.. WILL NOT RETURN..

Its a great little place for breakfast and lunch. The food is ALWAYS good. They use fresh ingredients and their menu has loads of choices. I prefer to give my business to the little guys and stay away from the larger chains. Their service is good too.

I wanted a pre-hike fuel. I was headed to RMNP, so protein was important. Old school diner this is, in the best sense... the veggie benedict was perfect - rich buttery hollandaise, w lovely crisp veggies, and perfectly poached egg. Yes.

Great place for breakfast or lunch...they close at 2pm, so no dinner. Great service, good portions, and a very inviting, friendly atmosphere have us frequenting this establishment almost every weekend. I highly recommend!

The food is simple but good. A lot of the menu has a Mexican flair but there are plenty of options. My one criticism would be that the interior could use some sprucing up and its a little cluttered feeding inside.

Food portions are generous & delicious. It is a small local place where there staff makes you feel welcome. If youre a regular, the staff greets you by name & does their best to remember the customers order.

I enjoyed this place. The food is good and decor charming. It seems a bit pricy, and the service I received was somewhat slow, but considering the quality of the food, I can overlook that.

At first I thought the coffee was a bit over priced, but then I found the steak ranchero. Delicious green chili and a more personal experience make it worth the extra buck for coffee.

Wonderful neighborhood breakfast and lunch restaurant. Good food, not greasy, great service, nice folks. Early fall they have a stuffed poblano breakfast plate that is outstanding.

My absolute favorite for when you need a hot, hearty breakfast. The skillet sunshines are all delicious. Try the pecan cinnamon roll as an appetizer... You wont be disappointed.

No set meals for vegans, but they can customize few meals do you if youre vegan. The food is standard diner food. Better (more authentic) than places like Dennys or IHOP.
