We went to eat around 10:30am the place wasnt very busy and were promptly greeted by friendly staff (the only reason two stars were given). The majority of the tables were dirty while some of the staff stood around. I ordered eggs Benedict. My husband ordered corn beef hash. Our Food sat in the window for a while and when it came it was mediocre at best. Thier strange decision to put partially cooked onions into the eggs benidect helped finishing off what the stale English muffin hadnt already killed. the entire dish was over bearing and the flavors distorted. The corn beef hash was a sad attempt at faking it. The "hash" was their cubes potatoes layered with cold corn beef, raw peppers and onions After the extremely disappointing meal we were left with a bill that was a sight for the eyes. At almost $3 a cup of coffee and prices you would expect to pay for dinner we left down $50 (after 18%tip).

The pancakes were good. The coffee was good too. Orange juice was pretty good too. My visit did not start out good though. Being a party of one.. I felt the need to sit at the two top. I did not, even though it was cleaned. ..it was not clean. I sat at a four top. My server met me quickly and took my order for coffee. .I had to quickly add that I would like OJ as well before he set off to get my coffee. When he returned he spilt OJ over the menu with out a word. I cleaned it my self. This reminds me. ..the extra place settings had not been removed... I do not know if they will be replaced after I leave. The bacon was over cooked. After I was done with my meal...the bacon was on the table when my server asked if every thing was good. I explained that it was over cooked. He brought me a second order that was also over cooked. At $3.80 the OJ is too expensive.

Country potatoes come with everything on the menu as a filler so the restaurant can use less of other ingredients to make more profit. Or they charge a few dollars more for people who want the good ingredients only. Well this place does both. Double dipping, mostly everything on the menu is $11 and comes with country potatoes that you cannot substitute (no hash browns because they have to be made fresh thats too inconvenient ). Ive never heard of this, its perplexing to me this establishments has such friendly reviews hmm. Omelet was running on the inside, too few ingredients and undercooked, almost raw mushrooms and vegetables. $3 coffee. Definitely not worth $11 (rip off alert). Staff was excellent.

7-6-15, 900 am. Excellent service, server was pleasent attentive and very nice. Ordered the Denver omelette, comes with sausage ham and bell peppers, English muffin and country style potatoes. Only comes with blended cheese, I wanted American. Food was excellent, nice portion size. I drove over 1000 miles last night in one shot to get to Denver, it was nice having a great meal with great servers. I recommend Sunrise Sunset to out of state visitors

I love this place! We are just passing through town and decided to stop off but we are so pleased! The chain tea is heaven on earth, the pancakes are smothered in whip cream upon request. My husband got the the lumbré burrito which he is now in love with. Their verde sause has the perfect balance of heat and flavor, the juice is hand squeezed perfection. Only warning is to order conservatively, the portions allow for two meals without adding any sides.

Havent been to the restaurant for more than a month but am eagerly looking forward to my next visit. Absolutely the best breakfast in Denver (and anywhere else where Ive been). The 2+2+2 with ham is first-rate. Nearly all reviewers agree with this, though there a few who get a power-rush from complaining. The owner should feel proud of what he has accomplished with Sunrise Sunset. It is first-rate in every way, including value and service.

I cant stress this enough, they have the best breakfast in Colorado. My whole family has been going there a LONG time, and its always amazing. The portions never get smaller, the food is consitant, and the service is excellent. What more can you ask for? Yes the prices go up and down, but thats because they use REAL ingredients. If you want a good fufiling breakfast. Come here.

The steak ranchero was to die for, the staff were friendly, and price was right. Best chicken fried steak ever! Kinda like huevos ranchero and chicken fried steak had a beautiful child that grew up into great person. The iceberg lettuce and sour cream were a great touch, I was in heaven for a few minutes.

Long wait; once seated an hour passed until we got our food. Other tables around us ordered, got food and left. Also food quality has gone down in the past few years. Told cashier and she said they were very busy today. They have always been busy. Surprised they dont know how to manage busy by now.

The French toast was soggy. The syrup was fake and sticky. Our omelettes were filled with jimmy dean sausage and covered in slop that they called salsa. They were nice, but the waitress got our order wrong. Not a good experience. Plus, the food was very expensive! We will not be coming back here.

I have been coming here for years and this is the best breakfast resturant in the Denver area. Bacon Benedict is the best!! Staff is always friendly and prompt when greeting even when packed on a Sunday morning. Food is always served hot and I never have to wait long even when they are busy.

Denvers Cap Grille is typical of all the fine restaurants in this outstanding chain. Elegant atmosphere and great steaks. A treat for those who prefer dry-aged beef. Great for guys or for business dinners. Very expensive, even for a steakhouse. Definitely worth the occasional splurge.

Best breakfast in town served with a smile. The menu is incredible and the ingredients are fresh. Best part about the place is the staff. They are fast, friendly, and really aim to please. My family and I eat here at least once a month now and the experience is always consistent.

I live for breakfast. Ive hit the Snooze, Jelly, Lucielles etc. But this was honestly the best breakfast Ive had since moving to Denver. Sure the atmosphere was dated and the location and staff were far from trendy, but breakfast should be all about the food and this rocks!
