Love the homemade meatball ramen noodle soup! The best!!!! Ok im editing my early review because this place is AWESOME!!! this is like the 3rd time i come back to this place, ive tried the homemade meatball ramen noodle soup, really, really good, decided to try something NEW! Went with the oyaka bowl(i have to say i made a smart choice by choosing this bowl, highly recommend it! If i could make this bowl better i would ask for some soy sauce next time or some hot sauce, i love my food spicy) the staff is super friendly!!! They even gave me a cup of brown rice tea to try while i waited for my order!(sadly i couldnt finish it & they didnt have to go cups for tea) I am so coming back to this place & bringing some friends this time! Prices are super cheap!!! If i could give this place more than 5 stars i would give it 10 stars!!!!

About two years ago the hubby and I frequented ramen joints. There was nothing more delicious than a salty broth, soft noodles, and boiled eggs. But then the hubby found out he had celiac and ramen became the enemy. For those of you who dont know ramen is basically wheat noodles in wheat broth. We were delighted to find a restaurant that offers a gluten free ramen that is vegetarian to boot! Satisfying both our dietary needs. The ramen was hearty and satisfying, and we used the special yelp check-in deal to add an egg and red ginger. Both were delicious. The service was great and the restaurant had a pretty chill vibe. If I didnt leave 800 miles away Id happily come back and sample more, but sadly we will have to wait for a gluten free ramen restaurant to open up in our neighborhood.

Best little Ramen noodle house in the Santa Clara peninsula. They use old fashion real ingredients in their soup stock. Believe others use chemicals and tons of who knows what to build up their noodle soup base. Good to see owners take pride in their food. You should also try their stir fried noodles, fried rice, fried chicken and other dishes...pretty much all home made dishes. Notice many locals go their as their spot. So definitely foodies should add this to their list of local comfort food places. btw...discovered they also have a sister Ramen shop in Las Vegas. The food is basically same menu, equallly good and everything home made.

This is probably one of the Korean-run/owned Japanese "style" restaurants gaining popularity these days in California. I tried "Homis special" ramen, To my disappointment, it was not a Japanese ramen. It was similar but only an inferior imitation. The only appreciated thing was the noodle material, but it was boiled so poorly that the remaining nuru-nuru stickiness killed the good texture. Japanese ramen never uses satsuma-age or fish cake. The soup was so simple and lacked complicated deep flavors. To the worst, the unfavorable taste remained for at least one and half hours in my mouth.

I love this restaurant because it reminds me of the home cooking of my childhood. Portions are generous, and the owners are super friendly! I particularly like their gyoza, which are juicy and perfectly pan-fried, and their fried rice, which is flavorful and balanced without being greasy. The chefs ramen with fish tofu is also really tasty!

Not the best ramen out there, but if you need a fix, this is a possible place to go. The portions are actually a good size. Best thing is that theres usually little to no wait to get seated. They do have lots of other dishes besides ramen, but I have yet to try any of them.

My girlfriend have been here countless times before and noted its tasty entres. After a long hiatus, we recently checked it out again and noticed quite an improvement in portions; you really get the bang out of your buck in this place while not sacrificing flavor.

No frills, but none needed. As a former expat to Japan, their ramen is totally serviceable - not spectacular - but priced very well, so no complaints there. The house made gyoza is really outstanding, very flavorful and pushes this rating to five stars.

Not a special place. ok if you need a quick bite and havent eaten all day long life myself at the time. Not great, not bad. No wait. Cold air, door that closes on its own had broken arm and door closes super slow letting draft in. Lame.

This restaurant has many chinese inspired dishes and its great. It reminds me of going to a Chinese restaurant in Japan. The charisu fried rice really hits a nostalgic spot and the gyoza are made spot on.

The soup is not very Japanese and they also sell Chinese food. The food is okay but not great. Strangely the Chinese food is better than the ramen.
