m so excited for another ramen place in Sunnyvale!!!!! I found this place from Yelps weekly review, and promptly came here for dinner. We got here around 5:30 Mon Friday and there was plenty of open tables so we got seated immediately. We got the Myzen Ramen (tonkatsu) and Curry Ramen. I really like the Myzen Ramen, which had a lot of ingredients, including corn (my fav), so I finished the entire thing including the broth. My husband enjoyed the Curry Ramen but it was a but too strong for drinking the broth. He says he will get the Myzen Ramen next time. I like the tonkatsu broth here better than Ramen Seas, but I usually get Miso Ramen at Ramen Seas. So I will try the Miso Ramen here next time to compare. However, its a bit more expensive here than Ramen Seas. The Myzen Ramen was $10.95 and Curry Ramen was $12.95. Might be because they have more ingredients though.

Tried the Tonkatsu Ramen and the Curry Tonkatsu Ramen. I thought the salt was well-balanced, but I wouldnt have added more. Both were nice and creamy, with the Tonkatsu being a brilliant shade of white. There were two thin slices of Chashu that were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I did add sesame chili oil to both, which added a nice sesame flavor and a bit of a kick. The egg was perfectly cooked; it was soft and creamy but not runny. The noodles were curly and firm. The Curry was a lovely amalgam of Japanese-style Curry and Tonkatsu, and Id give it a hearty recommendation to fans of either. Overall, an excellent addition to the Ramen choices in the South Bay.

Myzen is a nice small ramen place alongside Lawrence expressway, near St Johns pub. I had teh tonkotsu ramen, which was pretty good, nothing earth-shattering. You only get 2 slices of chashu which is a bit small, given that the ramen costs $10.25 before tax. The decor is nice, with lots of wooden panels, and it played music which made me feel like I was watching anime closing credits (it was fun) I also had a very strange and awesome peach fizzy jelly sake canned drink, that I shared with my friends. It was an very interesting experience. The staff was great, they did not try to push us out as we stayed way after our meal was done.

Ok let me start off by saying this ramen is NOT authentic at all. The broth from here is just plain salty. Authentic Tonkotsu broth ramen is supposed to be fatty or at the very least taste like pork, but this place just puts a ton of salt in their broth. I ordered the curry tonkotsu ramen (didnt even taste like much curry or pork) and my boyfriend ordered the Myzen tonkotsu broth (which was extremely over salted). This soup tastes like it was made straight up out of a Shin Ramen packet - except Id rather have Shin Ramen. Save your money and go somewhere else!

This small Japanese restaurant that can be hard to find as its located in a strip mall and faces away from its Lawrence Expressway address. Access from the Eastbound (headed towards 101) via Titan way is the best way find this place. Once you get there you can enjoy a serving their version of ramen noodles (no buckwheat offered) plus a small assortment of other Japanese style appetizers and salads. Beer & saki are available.

I was little bit surprised about the soup of Shio-ramen. I expected some kind of transparent soup, but its soup is not transparent and looks like Tonkotsu-soup. That taste is Shio, so nice to eat. Just little bit difference from expectation. Also I wondered if they have TanTan-men. its displayed on the wall. But as long as I remember, its not described on the menu. Next time, Ill try to order TanTan-men. Nice to eat!

Noodles were good but nothing else stood out compared to other ramen places around the area. Soup broth was light which is good if you want to drink a lot of it but I prefer more flavor. Decor is nice and clean. You get a good amount of ingredients in your base order which was nice though.

Delicious! We enjoyed the Myzen Ramen, the miso ramen, and the yakisoba. We arrived probably half an hour before closing, and were the last patrons to leave. The food was delicious. Large portions. The waiter was courteous and conscientious. We couldnt have been more pleased.

All their ramen comes with pork. Im surprised they dont have any other meat that you can substitute instead. Their ramen variety is their broth meaning under their ramen section, you basically get the same ingredients but with different broth. I really like the miso broth.

You dont have to wait long for a seat because customers rotate out very quickly. I tried both miso and myzen (tonkotsu) ramen and they were both flavorful without being overly salty. The chasiu was also the right balance of lean and fattiness.

Stopped in for a quick bite before heading to the airport to fly home. It was right as they opened so I had the whole place to myself. Staff were friendly and the ramen was excellent. It got me through the long flight back to the East coast.

Its a good japanese ramen shop. Has a good combination of tonkotsu broth, shoyu broth, and even a nice curry broth. Well worth coming to try. Appetizers are fairly standard, but they have a nice rice section that adds onto the ramen.

Nice ramen place without a line at the door. Good swrvice and okay food. We ordered green salad and cold eggplant and they are both sold out... Shared parking lot with other shops in the plaza and the lot is crowded early evening.

So good! Well Ill say this, its good ramen, very tasty but nothing special if you will, so four stars, BUT if you love gyoza go here. It is so freaking good and fresh. Really enjoyed my meal but if I go back its for the gyoza!

Maybe because of all the good reviews so I was expecting a lot. Its ok. The egg is not bad but the pork is just OK. Noodles and soup address average. I do like that the soup is not greasy. Staff are all very nice.

Ramen wasnt bad. It was chewy. I ordered the miso soup base but I felt it was too salty. It burned my throat if I drink too much of the soup. My wife ordered the shoyu and it was lighter and less salty.

decent ramen place. the only downside is that there are usually too many people during lunch, waiting time is about 20-30 mins.other than this, this is a good place to have ramen in santa clara area.

One of my favorite ramen places! The broth and noodles are delicious and the wait usually isnt long as other popular ramen places. The fried oysters and chicken kaarage are great appetizers as well.

We didnt have a wait the night we went. The Myzen Ramen was pretty tasty. The broth and noodles were great a the meat was okay. Id recommend if you are in the area or if Santoukas line is too long.
