Id given it 4.5 stars if I can give 1/2 stars. The decor of the place is fairly nice. We went there early 6:30pm on a Friday night and it was already pack. I ordered salmon sashimi and the cut was great and it tasted delicious and fresh. Some sushi place serve their sashimi too cold and I didnt find a huge issue with this place. Only the first piece felt just tiny little bit too cold and the rest were just right. We also had the dinner combo A which had lobster and shrimp tempura as one of its sides and it was probably one of the best shrimp tempura Ive had for a while. The lobster tempura felt novel though it didnt nearly have as strong a taste as the shrimp. The person I went with had seared Ahi tuna and he seems to enjoyed it a lot as well. The only reason I would give it 4.5 stars is because I ordered a baked roll (Top gun) and it turned out to be really cooked which isnt the way I usually like rolls. The main dish took a while to come after the appetizer, but the platting on the main dish was so pretty. I think its well worth the wait!

I had given this place a few more chances, but today was the last when we ordered online and they gave us all our rolls with nothing on it except the dish. Had to come back and they fixed most of it after waiting an hour to get home and still have a roll missing all the crab. The service was terrible and the waitress was very rude on the phone and in person. Do not order online as there is clearly a bug and set the bar very low on customer service. 11 months ago- Service and cleanliness are very good, but the sushi was warm and the rolls were pretty sloppy. Sitting at the sushi bar, I was not impressed with the quality of the rolling and it appears they just dont have the fish stored at the right temperature.

Took a friend coming from out of town to lunch here today. Nowadays, I only order the nigiri or sashimi mix whenever I go to Japanese restaurants, and that will be my base of whether a restaurant is good or not. Im actually quite surprised with the quality of sushi from this place. Still cant compare to sushi I get in Japan, but their fish was actually really fresh and delicious. Definitely one of the better ones in the area, and Ive tried quite a few of them. My friend ordered a few rolls and he thought they were quite alright. The ambiance and decoration of the restaurant is quite unique and definitely comforting. Overall a good experience.

Not sure how this place has good review. But my experience sucked. The tempura was undercoocked the batter was still wet. We ordered edemami, gyoza and 4 different rolls. Edemami was fine, but then they brought 3 of the rolls. And we didnt see the waiter or anyone on the floor for like 20 mins finally i got a sushi chefs attention and he called our waiter i asked about the other roll and she said 10 more mins i said no thanks i dont want it. And the rolls we did get were falling apart. Sorry but my experience sucked and i wont return..

My husband and I ordered our 2 favorites, Carne Asada and Chile Relleno. Both were excellent. Good family cooking! The best weve had in the Phoenix area. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone! Back in town and food is consistently delicious. My husband had the omelette and he thought the chorizo was perfect. I had the chile relleno and it too was perfect. Had the street corn and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will come back every chance we get. The best Mexican restaurant weve been to in the Phoenix area!

Very good Sushi here. The Spicy Cherry roll, Spider Roll and Dragon Roll (with sliced lemon on top) all very good. The waiter was friendly. Interior decor of this place is very nice. Downside is the slow seating when you come in ( you also have to write your own name and time you came in down yourself). Took us more than 30 min to get a table (party of 5) and very limited space in the vestibule so gets crowded fast. Other than that it was very good experience and will come back again (but on a less crowded night).

Solid place for good sushi rolls (although their rice can be hit or miss) and standard Japanese fare. Their sushi roll menu is extensive but well organized by ingredient, which makes it easier to figure out than most other places. The tori paitan (ramen) is on their new menu--delicious! Service is always excellent, and the restaurant itself is clean and pleasant. The parking lot is a planning disaster, but that is not their fault. Great choice for food in the neighborhood!

A was really in the mood for nigiri sushi. Despite the fairly high ratings this place got I must say that I agree with the person who wrote that the fish is old and the pieces are too large. A nigiri piece should fit in your mouth. The fish has been frozen, probably for a long time so it doesnt taste much at all. Though they are different kind of fish many of them taste exactly the same, close to nothing. I am very disapointed and spent $24 for the mixed nigiri.

Went on a Wednesday night at around 7:00. It was busy, but I didnt wait long. I ordered 2 rolls. It was not the greatest I ever had, but it was good. The fish was fresh. There really was no presentation to it...just 2 rolls on a plate. I travel a lot and have been to many Sushi places.... If you are going for a full sushisashimi experience I would pass, but for some good fish in a nice place.... I would go there. Go ahead and enjoy.

Went for dinner and the quality of fish and rice was pretty sad. Rice bit overcooked, and temperature is off. Fish chewy didnt taste fresh. Would not recommend. Service mediocre. Didnt even bring soy sauce, although I would recommend organic soy sauce or a more healthy alternative. Went there before for lunch and it was quite better though.

Lets get to it. Great food, good company, and on point service. This is a prime go to spot for a good sushi fix when in Santa Clara. I always have friendly and responsive encounters from the staff, along side quick preparation for food. Overall, amazing spot to hit up. I highly recommend it if youre ever in the area.

맛있네요. 해외에 있는 일식집 많이 다녀 봤지만 이정도의 맛집은 흔치 않는것 같습니다. 양도 많이 줍니다. ^^ 직원분들도 친절하고요. 전반적으로 대 만족입니다.

On a local sushi hunt, stopped here. Liked the decor, the menu was creative. For the price, the rolls werent the best nor did they look as good as their photos (which is an expectation for sushi - its not fast food). Some regulars seemed pleased with sashimi so might try that on a return visit.
