Easy to get to if you biked across the Golden Gate and are spending time in Sausalito because its on the way down into the main part of town. Also, since it is not on the main street its a nice, quieter part of Sausalito. Another plus is the bike parking to leave and lock your bike, and its a short ride from here to the downtown area if you still want to visit after eating. The food was great! Italian with fresh seafood, so a little pricey, but overall great. The white sauce light and not too heavy and pasta handmade. Also, the waiters made a great impression, were attentive even though very busy and very kind with our large group. We had a group of nine and the wait for our food did take over 30 minutes for just the appetizers and salads, but there was bread and water. The main courses took almost an hour, so that wasnt great, but we did have a large group. Also, they dont split checks and add the tip for groups 7 and up. Overall a great experience to an already awesome day. -A

We went there because of the good reviews on google. The waiter recommended us SPAGHETTI ALLO SCOGLIO because my husband loves tomato saurce. However, it turned out no saurce at all... The waiter told us he was sorry that he didnt know it comes without tomato saurce. We were very dissapointed about the food and the waiter. And he knew we are not going to give him good tips because of that. When we asked for check, the waiter told us he has calculated the tips as $XX, we just have to sign the credit card slip...Its ridiculous

It should be noted, this place has recently changed ownership and is now called "Aurora" or something. The Italian guy that used to run it sold it since I think business had been bad for him as of late. The new family that owns it has ... a different style to the atmosphere. Its less classy than before in many ways (ex: the "Open" sign they use looks like something from a gas station) but some of the same waiters still work there. Really, they need to drop the prices a little, but the food is definitely pleasing.

Totalmente recomendado.

Pasta e pizza senza glutine. Servizio ottimo.

The food we ate was good (specially the ravioli) but nothing exceptional, specially, when the prices are that high (like in every Sausalito restaurant). The pizza wasn’t italian, too many toppings (too crowded) and the prosciutto, which was supposed to be the main character in it, was hidden below all of them and was a bit scarce. The service was average.

Rarely do I cross the bridge these days, but this is a quick trip over the bridge for a nice date night away from the kids. Staff is very friendly and a lot of the dishes bring back memories of my italian grandmother. No it isnt on the water, but it has a warm feel to it and the rope lights around the windows works somehow for that space.

Se come de maravilla. Personal encantador. Precios correctos. Totalmente recomendable.

I stopped here for lunch while on one of the many bike tours that passes through the area. Sitting out on the patio and enjoying views of beautiful Sausalito was a great experience. The waiter helped convince me to get the lasagna, and it didnt disappoint. I would definitely recommend stopping here while on a bike ride or any occasion.

I have an office near the Italian section of SF, but still believe that this little Sausalito restaurant is one of the most outstanding italian dining experiences in the bay area! I have returned again and again, never to be disappointed. I particularly love the Cacciucco dish and their italian wine selection in one of the best!

I had a wonderful time here on Valentines. They were packed but honored my reservation on time. There were only three servers but they managed well with more than 20 tables all filled. Food was great for the price (its not a Michelin 3 star restaurant, duh!).

Ordered the pepperoni and margareta. Margarate was good, pepperoni tasted like a microwave pizza, or a Delicio pizza, didnt taste like authentic italian wood oven pizza. The waiters are professional, the wine was good, the place was nice.

Amazing pizza!!! Fresh ingredients and quick service. The patio facing the road is serenity redefine. Its a super chill and quiet neighborhood with great views and houses on the hill. Great stop on the bike ride to Muir Woods.

20% tip already included in bill (for 4 + 1 year old) and food mediocre. Calamari were a bit rubbery, pasta alfredo was ok, garlic bread had barely garlic on it. For the price, would not recommend. Service is friendly though.

When they were taking the plates away my five year old daughter said "excuse me but can I have the crust? I want to eat It." That never happens with my kids. She said it was her favorite pizza great job. Beautiful place

My boyfriend and I found this place a little over a year ago and it has become our staple date night spot. The staff is friendly and the food is the best in the bay. Go there, you wont be sorry!

I went here for dinner when I was doing a road trip along the western highway. This place has amazing Italian pizzas. It looks elegant and calm.
