Muy buena comida no tan amable la mesera algo rara, lo que no me gusto es que la mesera se acerco y no habíamos terminado de comer y tomo los platos enseguida me parece de muy mala educación eso cuando no has terminado tu comida no tan bueno el servicio de la mesera pero si doy 4 estrellas es por que el dueño del restaurante nos despidió muy amablamente y nos agradeció por comer ahi y eso fui algo lindo :)

Ive been to this local Sushi restaurant on a number of occasions. Once at lunch for Mothers day. She loved the decor. She ordered a bowl of udon and I got a Lion King to share and a San Leandro Roll for myself (She still had some to try). The wait wasnt bad at all. Although there isnt that many tables. I have gone with a larger group, about 12 people. They split us up into 2 tables next to each other so that was fine. They did their best to accommodate us. My group of friends go so often that the owner knows us. We ordered so much food that he gaves us all a free round of sake. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in SL and want some Sushi.

Sushi rice was mushy, not firm. This made the texture of the rolls generally mushy overall. Unrelated, but even the edamame were mushy! Furthermore, the flavors of the applied sauces overpower the rolls. :( We ordered the Lion King and the Rock n Roll, but were majorly unimpressed. I wouldnt recommend this joint for sushi.

Heard good things about this place...so, thought we would give it a try. Very disappointed. My sons teriyaki chicken was like chicken jerky...it was so dry. The sushi rice was undercooked and had very little flavor. Will stick to Sushi Avenue or Minamis....both with better food and better value!

Always pretty good quality, but theyre definitely one of the more pricey options in the area. I dont usually go here because there are two other really great quality sushi spots in San Leandro that are like 2/3 the price. But its a local staple!

Ramen sucked, sushi is mediocre, better sushi places around the area. If the Ramen and 2 day old salmon left a bad taste in your mouth, why are you still gonna eat there? Waitress was kinda cocky too, got mad when I said the Ramen wasnt good.

The staff and service here is so warming. The food is really good and decently priced for the amount you receive. Its a small restaurant off the main street. So you can either find street parking or park in the lot behind it near Safeway.

Food was excellent, however their service is horrible. See how many times you can say thank you to the server and get met with no response. Decor of the restaurant was awful. Felt like I was in a Chinese restaurant from the early 90s.

The sushi is as fresh as can be, their specialties are both innovative and extremely tasty.....love the yellow tail Hamachi. I am a regular here, their chefs are very knowledgable about sushi. Youre in good experienced hands.

Food was ok. Staff seemed very friendly to the regular guests as I could over hear their greetings to one another. However, as a new patron, you dont receive the same type of friendly reception to want to come back.

I went there and they put Chinese cabbage in my udon! Obviously because it is Chinese-owned. Another horrible sushi place. Only my Chinese friends like it because its obvious they make the sushi like Chinese food.

Best sush in Eastbay. Have had a sake box here for more than 15 years. My wife loves the San Leandro Role and I always get the extra spicy tuna roll (spicy sause behind counter). Say hi Norm.
