Geez this place...if youre looking for a place to be sloppy drunk and loud and yell at the TV screen during soccer matches (and why woiuld you?), then youll be right at home here. If you want to get drunk and stupic in the middle of a Saturday, but are too lazy to drive down to Mission Beach, then this is a good alternative. If youre like most of us an not into any of that, then stay away. Dont order the food because it sucks. the only thing worth paying for is the beer.

After several attempts to get service from the server -who evaded us several times- The Portobbello burger arrived. It looked black and I managed to have most of it despite the fact it was totally over-cooked; my fiends and I were there mainly for the soccer match than for the food anyway. The bartender was the one to bring the check (not the server). She was rude and even yelled at us when we disagreed about the service.

Quite a wide variety of beers from England and some delicious Isle favorites such as bangers and mash. Plenty of TVs all around to keep you entertained as well as a little dartboard. Dont expect to eat cheap, though. Fish and chips plus a few beers set me back over $30! I see why they dont put the prices on their website. I would recommend this to rich travelers who want a hearty British experience in San Diego.

I called in to ask questions about the menu and the best nite to head down with some friends and the guy who answered the phone was so rude to me. For no reason either. Apparently too busy to talk to me he actually had the nerve to hang up on me. If that is the way this place allows their employees talk to people that are calling in, then to ever step foot in this crap hole is just not an option.

Fish and Chips and a Black and Tan. Both were awesome, service was spotty. Only saw 3 servers for the ~65 people they had in the place on a Saturday night. The Fish and Chips were a decent portion, but had a tiny serving of tartar sauce to accompany it, if youre into that. Overall a lively experience. Good live music, great atmosphere, just could do with a little faster service.

Outstanding traditional pub grub. Love the cajun chicken blat, a sure winner every time. Efficient and friendly service and that old school pub atmosphere with plenty of screens for watching a range of sports, or outdoor tables to relax in the sun and enjoy the essence of Little Italy. Never had anything less than a great experience here, whether in a small group or large.

Great service (Shannon was awesome!), Fish & Chips were absolutely KILLER (screamin good!) Not sure who cooked though and the Atmosphere was great (cool & laid back!) with lots of Sports to check out on all the TVs. This place, & Owners are definitely a welcomed of bit of Ol England!!! You WILL enjoy, people!

English pub with lots of TVs with plenty of different sports on. Easy going casual atmosphere. Great for a pint of Guinness and some fried bar food. Has a nice outdoor patio to sit on and get some sun while having a drink. Be aware the patio has limited seating and smoking is permitted on it as well.

Ive never had bad service here. It does get busy on certain days and times, but I find the staff to still be calm and collected. Super laid back. The bathrooms are always clean, which is something I appreciate and something I think a lot of establishments overlook.

Will never go there again! The bartender made up some concoction of crappy liqueurs because he knew I was a tourist. Rudest waiter I have ever met. Way overcharged me for crappy drinks. Smelled like crap. Dirty bathrooms too. Walk right by this one.

To answer that age old question "Pub?" the correct response is "Pub." Great patio, Great weekend spot to people watch and Amazing Sunday dinner. They also do a proper pour of Guinness. It is what a neighborhood pub should be and is.

They have really good food, but everyone smokes on the patio and it blows into the restaurant and prevents a non smoker from enjoying dining on the sun filled patio. A smoke free area would greatly improve the atmosphere.

Came in for lunch, there was only one waitress on duty, but our experience was fantastic. My husband and sister had the fish and chips, and were huge fans! I had the grilled cheese...it was awesome! Best British pub!!

Good atmosphere, terrible food. The place is fun, but the food is gross, cold fries, no bacon in the Cobb salad (even though advertised.) I was starving, but I regret eating here.

Love the vibe, not pretentious like so many others in the area. Wonderful hollandaise with the eggs Benedict, however, the eggs were over cooked. The bloody Marys are grand.

Little pricey for bar food but otherwise this place is awesome! Darts and all the football and rugby games you can get. My personal fav is the snakebite with lager and cider

Pretty good food. Quite loud (whats up with that incredibly loud subwoofer?). Service was decent. A true pub, not a restaurant. They know how to pour a pint of Guinness.

Went in to get a can of John Smiths which I had seen on the web site. They dont have it anymore so had a Boddingtons instead. Food was good and service was great.
