Chinese Turkey was great just like In "A Christmas Story" movie.. our plan to make a home cooked meal on Christmas (Eve) did not work out.. so we went upstairs. . Got dressed. . and everybody went out.. to eat. Lo mein and the orange chicken here were great. . But my fave was the "Chinese Turkey".. aka. Duck in garlic sauce... (it came out from the kitchen with the head already removed.. not smiling at us).. Lots of tender melt in your mouth duck breast..crispy skin in a savory. . Not fiery.. sauce with scallions. . Mmmmmm. The wontons in the soup were light and yummy.. but the broth was weak.. a couple of spoonfuls of the delicious hot and sour soup added oomph to the won ton broth. The spring rolls we ordered never arrived. The steamed rice was ok. We started out at 5 pm. in a nearly empty restaurant just like In the movie.. (sans singing wait staff).. but by 6 pm.. the place was full.. 90% of the clientele looked to be Asian.. and even to me seemed very authentic based on meals I enjoyed in Hong Kong.. recommended. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in this area. Most items on their menu are quite good. This is Sichuan style Chinese food so quite a lot of things are hot and spicy. One of my favorite dishes is Stir Fried Pork with Yellow Leek. However, since some years ago, they began to add bean sprout to it (as a filler, I assume) and it completely destroyed the taste. If you like this dish, remember to request no bean sprout, it will taste 100 times better.

The food & the services are good. Original I tried to give 4 because the order line (weekend lunch) is not efficient at all. Average you have to stand in the line for at lease 15-30 minutes to order. (this can be solved easily) However, be fair - if you go any restaurant, you still need to wait that long for food, they have BEST spicy food 麻辣 in the area.

We went to the cafe tonight, and had an interesting experience. We ordered a squid dish, and it was not fresh. We send the dish back, and the restaurant did not do anything. This place is like a fast food place where you pay for it first. Therefore we basically paid $13+ for that dish for nothing. You have been warned.

A friend introduced us to this place recently and my family cant stop coming here. We eat here roughly 3 times a week and absolutely love the taste of all the food. I think its the most authentic Chinese restaurant in the area. The owner doesnt smile much but once we got to know her better she is very nice and sweet lady.

Competes with Joes Noodle House for best Sichuan in the DC area. Prices are on the high side the ordering is odd (you sit down at a table, then write down your order on a scrap of paper and order at the register, and then they bring out your food), but the food is delicious.

Da Lu main was a real disappointment. The noodle was dry and they wanted $1 dollar surcharge for freshly made noodles. Will not go back. If you want to try good noodles, may I suggest JDS right across I-270 or Bobs noodle in Rockville.

Very good and real Chinese dishes, not the American Chinese food. If you like spicy food, here is a good place. If you dont like, you definitely have many other dishes to choose here. They have booth as well as very large tables.

Probably the best Chinese restaurant I know. I love their shrimp balls, too bad the portion is too big unless Im with a group ordering several dishes to share. So tonight I will settle for triple delight.
