We came in for dinner for the first time. First of all, menu is ridden with typos. Then miso soup came out with one of the mail dishes, and it was lukewarm, definitely not hot. Yakitori app and the steak meal were the same type of meat, and was made of the toughest beef ever. Large pieces that take forever to chew through. Also, absolutely zero flavor. Sauces come with the meals, but other than that food has no flavor what so ever. Tuna hand roll was ok, but will not be back.

The food is always excellent, the service superb, and the restaurant itself is well appointed and always clean. My absolute favorite restaurant in Newmarket. The owners are a young couple who go above and beyond to make your experience positive.

I work at Scuttlebutt barber shop, next door. The guys at Kume are always friendly and helpful. Food is great, especially love pad Thai and Alaska rolls. Jason can never do enough to help! Highly recommend it.

Excellent service. Probably the best Ive had in a while. The sushi itself (a spicy tuna roll, nothing crazy) was ok. Not great but not bad. No draft beer either, small bummer.

Everything about Kume is great. The drinks especially. The food is also delicious. Had a sushi boat and not one thing was bad. Scallion pancakes on point too. Great staff!
