This placed used to be great. Weve been coming here for years. But lately its really dropped off, and now were done with it. Pros: - Dog friendly - Good beer selection (But its south park, what place doesnt have a good beer selection) - Good wings (Most of the time, when they get your order right. See below.) Cons: - Service can be unreasonably slow. They simply forgot about us the previous time we ate here. It took over an hour to get a couple of burgers and the place was half-empty. Larger tables who sat down after us got their food before us. When we asked about it, the waitress said "sorry, were slammed!" Sorry, no, when half the restaurant is empty, and people who came in after us are eating before us, thats not slammed. Thats just forgetting an order. - The most recent time we went, we ordered dirty wings. But they brought us buffalo wings instead. When we pointed out that we ordered dirty wings, our waitress acted really annoyed and said "well you ordered buffalo" under her breath as she took the plate away. Literally a minute later, she came back with the same plate, but with a ladle-full of dirty sauce on top of the buffalo wings. She said "Sorry about that, they brought out the wrong order. Here are your dirty wings." Sorry, no, thats the exact same plate of buffalo wings, but with a heap of dirty sauce on top. When we called her out on it, she said "Oh, the dirty sauce today has more buffalo in it than usual." Right. - Prices are high for what you get - Flies everywhere (they swarm your food, your beer glass, etc). Its disgusting. Skip the bad service, dirty dining area, and attitude, and hit up any other place in south park. This place has really lost its way. We wont be back.

Ive driven by this place countless times and yet never have stopped in. Its bigger than it looks from the outside and its a great, casual atmosphere. They have drink specials with a good selection of beer, but they also have wine and specialty cocktails too. Next time I want to try the blood orange mojito. They have a make your own burger for $8, but I got the tri-tip sliders which were tasty, especially when accompanied by the poutine. More places should offer poutine. The prices are reasonable and for five drinks and two plates of food, my bill come out to a little under $30. Ive read the conflicting reviews about the service but the service we got was awesome! We had a big ol group and we were greeted with friendly, prompt service. She smartly had us each open a tab rather than try to divide everything up at the end and every server that passed us by checked in to make sure we didnt need anything. Its a good spot to just hang out with a group or for a burger and beer night. They open the huge windows and its relaxing. No frills -- just basics done well.

good spot. really strong wings. we went dirty style which is a blend of a couple of their sauces. it was really good. a little spicy, a little sweet. good stuff. also got the stuffed red pepper which was good. it comes over a couple of slices of crostini which, other then needing to be just a little bit more crispy, served the dish well. service is extremely friendly (although a bit slow). theyve got a huge beer selection and you could spend the entire week there without repeating the same drink if you dont want to. i would come back.

Came here with a friend for Open Mic night and had to try the wings. They were good, but not as good as I thought they would be reading many of the other reviews. Sorry...thought they were just average. However, our waitress was very friendly, kept our drinks filled and was helpful with how open mic night worked. Seems like a good place to hang out with friends to enjoy some good brewskis, cocktails and live music.

Well I came to visit this place from Arizona and we got there and we were not talked to or seated for over an hour and to make things worse a couple came about 30 min after us and were seated at a booth we were waiting on the whole time so we just left! I am sorely disappointed and our San Diego friend that spoke highly of the place was completely shocked and embarrassed!

This place was not good at all. The fries were good but we wanted wings and supposedly they were out of wings. However, there were fresh wings coming out after we had requested them. So we werent impressed with this place. They seemed to prefer favorites. Supposedly this place has been officially closed but I wanted to post this in case this place is still open.

If youre looking for a great place to grab a nice meal, some drinks and hear some good music, South Park Bar and Grill is the place to go. I like to go on Saturday nights when they have a blues jam. The house band starts playing around 9:00 and then the jammers come on stage around 10ish. A lot of really good talent, nice people and good atmosphere. CP

The wings. That is all that needs to be said. Dont know if its the meaty wings or dirty sauce (ranch + buffalo + sweet/spicy sauce mixed together) that makes them out of this world, but I keep coming back, time after time. Beer selection and service are always great too.

This place has 30+ taps containing beers you wont find at other bars and the best wings in San Diego (get the Dirty Wings, trust me). Small but cozy, locals spot, down to earth, good place to catch the game, dog friendly, its one of my favorite spots in the area.

The smoked wings have to be the best in San Diego. This place would have 5 stars but getting burgers for a family of 4 should not cost $60. Beer and cocktails are great, staff is good as well. Great place to watch a game and eat some wings!!

Hopping place. Come here to drink, but I dont recommend it for a meal. Our waitress was very kind and apologetic- about our food taking over an hour to be served. (Unfortunately, my burger patty was beyond charred as well.)

Awesome staff, really impressive tap list, tons of TVs with every sporting contest imaginable. The food is great as well. Its a small menu but what they make is great. The wings are quite possibly the best wings in town.

Nice bar with friendly people. The crowd is a little eccentric, but the beer list is incredible. So much selection that it seems like a tap room, but its dog friendly and they have multiple TVs for sporting events.

Great bartenders and a cozy atmosphere the people at this bar are in their 20s and 30s with a college vibe. Everyone we met or talked to was nice and fun. Will definitely be going back.
