Janiece who is employed at Beer Hunter on highway 111 was very rude. She hassled me for my tab while I was attempting to enjoy my night with my girlfriend and a friend from high school who I had not seen for years. She embarrassed me and made it seem as though I was not going to pay my tab. I found it very rude. When I politely asked her why she was hassling regarding for 30 dollar tab she made it seem as though I was going to leave my tab unpaid for the remainder of the night because others had done so to her. She took the rest of my pitcher I had already paid for because she felt I was not going to pay for it, when indeed I was. Terrible customer service, she was very rude and defensive. When I attempted to speak with the manager of this establishment she began to speak defensively over me. The mangement continued to allow her to speak over me, as a Purple Heart veteran I am very upset and feel very disrespected. This is not an establishment Id visit again.

We love the La Quinta Beer Hunter... it is an awesome sports bar with a friendly, neighborhood feel, exellent service from attentive servers and bartenders, and really, really great food! No wonder it is always busy! My favorite are the fish tacos! They are authentic baja tacos-- and one plate is enough to split. They also come with a crock of pinto beans that are very tasty... seasoned to perfection! If you are looking for the best sports bar in La Quinta-- with huge TVs, all the games and events, with great food and atmosphere ... the La Quinta Beer Hunter is the place to go! K. Schowe

Just visited this place with my friends and each one of us had a gala time there. Houses the best ambience in a long-long distance. The place literally screams tidiness in every corner. Lots of screens placed at the right places. Right from the gaming machines, pool tables to food, drinks, customer service, etc., everything was of an unmatched quality. Truly the best in the desert by a long shot. And in the end you get more than what you pay for. The place gives the best bang for the buck.

I love the Beer Hunter. They have the best food and always friendly staff. It is very close to my work and my coworkers and I always come here after. They have the most amazing nachos, with a delicious jalapeno cheese sauce that they make in house. I am a huge hockey fan and they are always willing to find a game that I want to watch. I would totally recommended this place to anybody who enjoys good food and beer and excellent customer service. A+++

The Beer Hunter is a desert institution. One does not simply call themselves a true desert rat without coming to know the home and hearth of The Beer Hunter. Be ye local desert folk or adventurous snowbird, ye must pay homage to the place both naives and gods visit for craft beer or belly warming bourbon. Come for the hospitality, stay for the famous chicken nachos.

This place doesnt update their building and the bartenders get worse. I came in and the bartender spilled most of the jack daniels pour then counted 1 second when he made it in and that was my drink. For those who dont know, it should be a 5 count for 1.25 oz pour. The food gave our wedding party food poisoning. Its a joke and this place will make you sick

Food poisoned!!! I went here on my birthday and unfortunately received The worst food poisoning Ive ever had in my life. We called the manager and they simply said sorry and that was it. Horrible, I through up 8 times on my birthday and couldnt leave the hotel room. I repeat do not go there. Unless you want food poisoning with no refund.

This place has a lot to offer at a great price. The food was good, although we only ordered from the happy hour menu, we could just smell how tasty that burger was. The staff was very nice and the beer selection is great. We went to watch a game there, I have to say, we are going to watch another.

Two different times went in to an empty bar, waited 15 minutes and left without a drink. Dont even bother, check out Burgers and Beer instead. Manager could care less that we sat there not being helped, he walked right past us three times. Terrible service, stay away

Changed ownership recently. Seems more like a restaurant now then a divey sports bar. They even have a healthy menu for those who are intolent or have major food preference(keto-welcome even)!!! Have to check it out a few more time to really say i like it!

Sat at bar for 15 minutes while the bartender bitc#!& about the tip left by the "foreigners"... Long time resident that frequents the bar. Management needs to put the Padre burger back on the menu....was the best burger in the desert at one point.

Tons of beer make it a good spot to get a cold one. Beers are a bit overpriced and they dont have very many "useful" specials. Food is way overpriced for bar food and just ok. Lots of TV and a decent atmosphere for watching sporting events.

This is my favorite bar in the desert! I always get great service and I love the food...and I love the beer too of course! They have a huge selection of beers to choose from and its always fun to try something new.

Ok beer selection, basic food thats just a step above bar food. There are at least thirty TVs, and if youre not a sports fan its almost unbearable when a game is on. The seating is awkward. The service is fair.

Came on a Monday for pasta night. It was terrible. Very bland and just no flavor. It also didnt sit right with me. Spent the next day in the bathroom. Service was phenomenal though and the staff was great.

The old cat city location was pretty bad ass back in the day. Never spent a great deal of time at this location but its still in its original state. Kinda like the old Zeldas before they moved...

Ordered a pizza and it came from the microwave, parts of it were cold and other parts were warm, not hot. Sucked ass. On the other hand beer was good. Service good. Good for beer only.

Friendly staff, great beer selection. Food choices are good. Good TV viewing setup and can accommodate large groups. Touch on the bland side for seasoning of some food selections.

Theyve been around forever and also tons and tons of different beers on draft. The fish and chips are really good and so are the hamburgers but in my humble opinion theyre overpriced

This place was a fun stop while on our vacation. Nice to go someplace locally owned and run well. Great food and beer choices. Awesome menu, casual atmosphere. Lots of TVs.
