Only tried this place because of the awesome reviews I seen. Unfortunately this place is not as appealing as it may seem. The old Spanish lady taking orders was very unprofessional and very unhelpful, she assumed me and my friend should know what they have and do not have. Didnt appreciate the unwelcome vibe that was given. Lastly, although it was a very good burger it was on the very pricy side for a single patty cheese burger with fries and medium drink $11 and some change. Then to top it off I heard a customer say they wanted the lunch special for $6.99 and it was never even mentioned to me. There was a very sincere black guy that was cleaning tables and refilling drinks for us who helped us with more ketchup and refills. Other than that I will never be going back to this business again.

This place is somewhere between a diner and an old burger joint. Its simple and has a mom & pop kind of feel to it. The people working there are friends and have known each other for quite a while so it has a much different feel than fast food. You can call and order in advance or go through the drive-through. I opted to sit down and eat. The food was there pretty quickly, although they dont make it until you order so be prepared to wait at least ten minutes. I had a bacon burger (the JoJo) and it was just plain good. It was all fresh and tasty. Im rarely over in this part of town but Ill be back for a good burger or sandwich in the future.

On 17 July 2017 at 5:45 pm my family and I stopped in and ate at Christakis on our way to San Antonio. The counter staff was not very friendly or knowledgeable about the menu choices. My son had the catfish dinner which was a little over priced for two small pieces of catfish and french fries. I had a Cheeseburger and fries which was pretty good but when I asked about upgrading it to a Bacon cheeseburger the bacon was $2.00 more so I left the bacon behind. So in the end a little over $25 for a Cheeseburger, 2 small pieces of catfish and a kids chicken nugget meal was not a very good value.

HORRIBLE customer service/ food is ok. I called order in with 10 minute estimate to pick it up. It had been 12 minutes when I paid and then I waited another 10 minutes. (this is at 2:30pm they were not busy with customers) They refused to separate my order because they already rang it up and I was not offered a receipt. Customer service is usually poor but the food is ok. I will not be going back to this place.

Ive known about this place and always pass by it since I live close by. I didnt know they served gyros here until recently. The gyro is a dinner plate that comes with well done seasoned thin flat meat (I think its beef; could be lamb but I doubt it.), 4 slices of pita bread, fries, a salad and a small container of tzatziki sauce (made with cucumber and yogurt). Its pretty damn good although at $11, pricey.

First time eating here and not disappointed. Good food, happy and lively employees, and nice atmosphere. If I HAD to complain about anything, it would be the extremely thin paper towels. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!

Had to be the best burger Ive had in a long time. Service was friendly and fast. Will drive 220 miles for this burger !!! Made my second trip back. Brought my wife this time. Awesome burgers !!!

8/5/17 It was busy my guests burger was great, & catfish dinner was great. (2 catfish pieces(reasonable portions), Texas toast, a basic salad, and fries) The other person had the buger special.
