I recently moved to the area, have never been to a Sonic and decided to visit your Yuba City location. 11/2/15 I was in drive thru and had questions about the menu, combos, specials etc. I wanted the chili cheese tots but saw there was a special with a hot dog for a little bit more money. I asked the male who was taking my order about it, the next thing i know he gave me a total and said drive up to the window he will answer the questions there. When i get to the window there is a female who tells me the total which was way too high for the tots. I questioned her about it and she said i was getting a pretzel dog with tots and a drink combo. I told her i didnt order that, I dont even drink soda. she became irritated and shut the window. she came back and gave me a different total which was still too high for tots, i questioned it again and she said "look i just thru out the soda you didnt want now it?" I told her I was simply asking about the combo, she walked away then came back with a total of around 3.50. I gave her my card, she gave me a bag with the chili cheese tots, then she gave me back my card and receipt. I tried again to explain i was sorry for any confusion that i had never been to a Sonic and just wanted to know about the specials. She smiled and said sarcastically, you have a great day now maam and shut the window. I drove away because i had been holding up the line and felt horrible. when i returned to work and opened the bag to eat my tots i found the receipt and that i had been charged for the combo. I tried to call the Sonic and resolve the issue but could never get a response from the store manager. The amount is very minimal that i am owed and i have put too much negative energy into this situation already, not to mention the fact that i wouldnt eat the tots because i felt if they had the nerve to charge me incorrectly and be sarcastic to me, what did they do to the food? I find the whole situation horrible! I simply wanted to try the tots and ask a couple of simple menu questions, not be charged for food i didnt want or receive and be disrespected by your employees. I am asking that you immediately refund or give me a credit for the entire amount i was charged which is $7.66 i did receive the tots but wouldnt eat them because of the whole situation i was uncomfortable with the thought of eating them. Im sure that if you question the employees they will chucle about the whole situation and then lie to you, but i am hoping that you can simply give me back my money and i will forget about all of this and maybe someday try the food there again. Please contact me and i will give you my address or card info whichever you prefer to use for the credit, i am also putting the info from the receipt below so you can review it. One star is too many. We waited 35 minutes for two small drinks. Had to call twice to see what was going on, meanwhile, 12 cars came through the drive-thru and were were still waiting. This is not the first time. When our two drinks arrived, we asked why it took so long. "We are short staffed because most of the staff already went home." She (car hop) also said (with an attitude), "you should choose another time to be here." That is not the problem, the problem is they cater to those at the drive-thru. Basically, if you order at the Kiosk, good luck getting your food i a timely matter. In addition to lousy service, a snarky employee, they didnt even get the order right. We ordered a medium and a small drink, but got two mediums and was charged for two medium drinks. Sonic in Yuba City sucks!

First time I went there I pulled up to the drive thru and told them I needed a second to decide what I wanted to order and they never came back. We literally waited for 23 minutes and finally left. Today we went and ordered in the drive thru. When we got to the window they said they lost our order even though it was ordered 15 seconds prior to this and they didnt even give us the right sizes of food. I strongly recommend people to not go there unless they have 30 minutes to spare. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced.

Horrible customer service. This is not the first time that the customer service is bad. If I want a "horrible" lemonade, sickly sweet, I will buy the powdered stuff for the same price at the grocery store and make it myself. The customer service formula that I learned is the customer is always right. I am paying for it and I dont want an argument if it is not the way that I wanted it.

The service there was horrible. Ordered a frozen black cherry sweet tea they brought a frozen lemonade so I asked if they could make the sweet tea that I ordered and all she did was put black cherry in grr. We didnt get an order of tots the car hop went back in to get them as he was coming to the car he fell and yell "I f@%*!in hate this job" maybe he should be trained a little more.

While their milkshakes are delicious, their food is only so-so and their prices are outrageous. Unless you go during Happy Hour when they are half price, expect to pay $5.00 or more for a decent size shake. The servers are really nice though. Dont go through the drive-thru unless youre not in a hurry. It takes forever!

Customer service was awesome!! Destiny was really nice and helpful. We went there twice this week and both times we had her she was super friendly. Today was 50 cent corn dogs and we went at happy hour. So many customers but even with all that stress the service was awesome. Keep up the amazing service.

this place used to be great, service quality all of it was great..... now you cant go there with out the order being screwed up in some way, the last three visits something has been missing from my order. check your bag before you get out of the drive through.

Very disappointed with the length of time it takes to place and receive an order thru the intercom. Weve actually driven off without even ordering after waiting for 15 to 20 minutes. Drive thru is very slow too.

Girl hooked us up. I ordered one route 66 slush last at night and she brought us two! Said she saw there was two of us so she made two :) Made our night. Super friendly staff.
