Ordered delivery to my house. For the THIRD TIME they messed up my husbands order. I called to tell them about it, and they just said "were sorry" and HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME! I was being very nice! "Were sorry" doesnt resolve my problem. I was given the wrong food three times in a row. My husband went to the restaurant and demanded his money back. He was more pissed about the fact I was hung up on. Food is okay but the staff is very rude. Also, with my previous deliveries, both drivers tried to scam me and not give me back the correct amount of change. They wanted to keep more money for themselves. My total was $13 - I gave a $20 and then the man asks "Do I need change". Are you kidding me? Previous time my total was $24 - I gave $40 and again I was asked If I needed change back. Both drivers had the intentions of keeping my change. Very unprofessional. Get new staff! UPDATE: I had the audacity to give this place a second chance. Bad idea! I ordered teriyaki chicken wings that tasted like a gallon of salt was poured on to them. Teriyaki sauce is sweet! I brought back my food and was given the worst attitude by this “semi young” Asian man who stands behind the counter. He was literally yelling at me about how Teriyaki sauce isn’t sweet, and that my chicken wings were cooked perfectly fine! What???? Who treats their customers like that? He told me never to come back again, and to order Chinese food across the street instead. Like I said in the first review 5 months ago, GET NEW STAFF!!

Most places have things they make well and things they dont make so well. This place is no exception. One thing I love about Hong Kong Taste is the beef they use. Very tender, not super rubbery like most places. I wont order beef and broccoli anywhere else. Also, their boneless spare ribs are excellent as well. On the other hand, their eggrolls and wantons arent so great. And their veggies sometime need more time in the steamer. Not a very big deal tho. Everything else they do kind of average. The pros I mentioned out weigh the cons. Which is why I give them 4/5 stars instead of a neutral 3. Probably too high of a score for fast food anyway. But as far as Chinese food is concerned they are above average. At least from my experience.

The worst Chinese food ever. I ordered a lunch special, and ate the main part of it in the restaurant, and the soup later. The beef with veggies wasnt bad, but it was very oily, and the extra heat Id requested hadnt arrived. It took several minutes to get some chili to add to it. But that hot and sour soup - O M G! they apparently hadnt finished making it. There were huge, tough bamboo threads in it that made it practically inedible, and very little tofu. And there was no vinegar in it AT ALL. Thank goodness I had some at home and could resurrect this. Even then, several other ingredients were missing as well If i could give this only 1/2 star, thats what Id do.

I waited an hour and half for my fifty dollar meal, that I couldnt eat because they put pork in everything. Not only do I hate pork, but Ive been a vegetarian for 24 years. When we called to complain, no white rice with our vegetables, no sauces, no fortune cookies, forgot the 2 vegetable rolls, and oh THERE IS PORK IN OUR VEGERTABLES, they just said "yeah yeah - remind us next time." NEXT TIME? This is the second time they fed us pig and didnt care, and last time we will be ordering from them. I ordered online with beyond menus, so no misunderstanding. I even wrote *vegetarian* in the special comments. Ugh

Food delivered late, and was very overcooked and dry. Kids couldnt eat their meals as they were unable to bite it due to how dry everything was. To top it off they left out one item (beef and broccoli) that after calling the restaurant they delivered it in over hour. Now I was not aware that beef and broccoli came with scallops, peppers, zucchini, carrots and peas, and only 4 pieces of beef. Steer clear of this restaurant if you have any food allergy or like to get what you ordered. Place doesnt even deserve 1 Star.

Have eaten here many of times. Food is always correct.. Service is quick, and staff always has good attitude, if u go during the late evening hours on a weekday there kids may play some music for you while you wait....(good for a laugh or two). If you dont know what you want u must try the Chicken in Garlic Sauce (mildly spicy, but if you ask to make it spicier they will be happy to load it up for u) Yummy!!!! Well off to pick up my food, hope this was helpfull

The fried rice smells like something the cat dragged in. Who are the new owners? The other Chinese restaurant that we stopped patronizing because the food made us nauseous. The menu hasnt changed, but I guess the Pompton lakes health dept. gets special treatment in an envelope. I would avoid this place like typhus! I would call them and alert them to my complaints but they would just offer me free ptomaine.

The quality of english spoken by the folks at a **chinese** restaurant affects the quality of your food? for delivery?? the thinly veiled ethnocentrism is not lost Ron. Food is decent and Quick but a little more expensive than others in the area. the Crispy noodles kinda suck

Their Vegetarian(also vegan friendly) Orange "Chicken" tasted fresh and delicious! Their Veggie Szechuan "Beef" is also really good! I love that they have lots of options for vegans/vegetarians! Im definitely coming back to try their other veg meat options! I only wish they were closer to Jersey City!

Decent, but not great chinese food. Egg rolls are very good as well as the hot and sour soup. The chicken and mushu pork weve had from there has varied in quality. The first couple of times we ordered it was very good, but has been more bland recently.

This place never does me wrong. Good prices, big portions, and good service. My friends always want to go here when they come to visit. Eggrolls and barbeque spare ribs are awesome.

Lady at the counter is rude and gives rat ass when you request. they used to have sushi but not anymore cuz of that whimpy woman at counter is lazy bum. Not visiting again. good bye

I only ever get broccoli in garlic sauce, and its always great here. My husband gets the various soy meats and loves it. Food has always been great and the people are friendly.

Took over an hour for delivery. One of our orders was a pepper steak which was not cut, it was a solid piece of meat and was totally raw purple and not edible.

Ordered general Tso and sesame chicken. It was cooked so long in old oil that no chicken was remaining. It was like eating flavored chicken skin.
