처음으로 밟아본 미국대륙, 영어도 어렵고 문화도 어렵고... 봉사료(팁별도 15%)를 별도로 지불하는줄 모르고 5인 밥값을 지불하고 나왔다. 물론 친절하고 맛도 적당했다. 지인을통해 봉사료를 별도로 지불해야하는 사실을 알고 미안한 마음에 일부러 다시 찾아갔다. 다섯명이서 $76.8의 음식을 먹고 기분좋게 영수증을 요구하니... 친절하던 사장님은 다짜고짜 나 알죠? 나알죠? 떫은 표정으로 봉사료를 안주고 갔다고 화를 내더라 난 처음이라 몰라서 그랬다 그래서 일부러 다시왔다고했는데도 봉사료 안주고 갔다고 닥달을 하더라....... 그래서 이번거는 봉사료포함해서 $76.8+tax=$90 내란다. $100불 줬더니 $10의 거스름돈 줄생각 안하고 $10불 손에 꼭쥐고 감사합니다.하더라. 지난번 봉사료치고 $10불은 너무 띁긴거 아닌가? 한국인은 정이 있는 법인데..... 미국와서 한국식당와서 반갑고 맛좋고 좋았는데... 주인장의 젠장싸가지 정 대신 듬뿍 먹고왔다.... 절대 비추......

HORRIFIC RESTAURANT. DO NOT GO HERE. The atmosphere is ok, and the food is decent but far too pricey for what it is. THE SERVICE IS AWFUL!!! NEVER returning there EVER again. I politely asked for another order of the 2 little fish cakes that come complimentary with my bi bim bop and the woman was SO incredibly rude about it! She could have easily just politely said they dont do that, and that it would be extra but instead she was extremely condescending and called over two other women to whom she publicly humiliated me with my having me re-explain to them what I had asked. Both new women gave me horrifically dirty looks, and then one of them LITERALLY began yelling loudly at me in front of everyone in the restaurant, lecturing over and over again why thats not ok and that its not ok for someone to just come in here and ask for an extra tiny side for free! She caused me such embarrassment I was crying! WORST experience Ive ever had at a restaurant.

First time here - first impression the place was clean. Staffed by friendly and welcoming People. The clientele appeared to be mostly Korean aside from myself. They serve at least 12 little side dishes which were all pretty good. The Bulgogi was not the best I have had but was pretty good. Overall for the area I give this place 4 stars and will be going back again.

Terrible, terrible, terrible restaurant. The women who run the place are such mean, impolite people its kind of ridiculous that theyre even still in business. They are basically scam artists with the amount of money they charge for such small portions of Korean food in the nothing special-dive of a place it is. Learn how to run a business ladies.

The Jewel of Hayward in Korean food and BBQ . This is mine and my husbands go to for Korean food. The staff are excellent and always very friendly. We are regulated doo they know what we like and sometimes the owner recommends something different from our regular order.v always am adventurer to eat here. Absolutely love this place.

If there was a category for home style Korean food, I think Korea House would qualify. Service is great, food is reliably good every time I go to Hayward, and is the only restaurant I eat at while there. Might get noisy, but never loud, and since I am always busy eating, never bothers me.

The service is not great, but the food is pretty good. You have to order everything extra spicy for more favor. There is a minimum you need to order to be able to grill. This is the spot to go if you want some korean bbq meat with the family and do not want to leave the area.

BAD EXPERIENCE. the old woman attending there was not kind, the food is too greasy and oily, I asked some fish and rice with kimchi and were too oily I couldnt finish it, and I went home feeling sick, I will never comeback there, GREASY AND OILY, and kind of expensive.

My mom and I used to eat there when I lived in the area. I take friends there when I can. I love the two dozen or so different small condiment dishes filled with kimchi, tofu, spiced vegetables, jelly, fish, and other tasty things, too.

Visited with friends and the menu had great choice to cater for all our tastes. The burger I had was delicious with big portions. They were accommodating of our 7 month old even in the evening. Friendly staff. Quick service.

Extremely poor service. We were seated next to the door that constantly greeted us with gusts of cold air every time someone came in. We asked to be moved, but the lady said, "We are too busy, only two people." Ridiculous.

Food is OK, but pricey. The grilled belly pork was bad, from the look to the taste, it cost $16.99. I think I can cook better than them. Never want to go back.

When I come home to the Bay Area, this is where my mom and I come to eat for some great kbbq. We always grill at our table, side dishes are awesome.
