worst customer service EVER. My wife and I went into the restaurant at 1 PM to eat lunch. Food was absolutely delicious. "What great date!" or so we thought.... We were surprised when we got a bill for much more than what we ate. Turns out that the lunch special is only M-F, and not available on Saturdays. We looked and, of course, it was listed on the menu in small print. Very confusing since the only two pages in the menu were "lunch special" and "dinner." So every meal on Saturday is dinner? We would have just dropped the issue as a dirty scam, paid a meager tip, and never stepped foot in the restaurant again... BUT... we remembered ordering the items by pointing to them on the lunch menu. Our waiter did not mention we would be paying dinner prices for this dishes. After explaining our situation to the waitress multiple times (our original waiter had vanished), we repeatedly asked to talk to her manager. Unfortunately the manager was "unavailable to talk" even though the employee had previously talked to her about the issue.

The best thing they make here is the seafood pancake. No joke, its the best seafood pancake I have ever had in my life. Its so crispy, and filled with so much seafood! Their ginseng with chicken soup, as well as the beef bone soup are both very flavorful, so I would highly recommend these two options. Unfortunately their tofu soup (soonduboo) is lackluster and their galbi-jim, while flavorful, is not as tender as I would like. The galbi plate is also flavorful and recommended. The servers do not seem very enthusiastic about being there but the food is worth it.

I went for dinner on a weeknight with my girlfriend. We ordered a Soon Du Boo (tofu soup) and a Yukgaejang (spicy beef noodle soup). The tofu soup was overly salty and the spicy beef soup was overly spicy, with no notable flavor. It came rice and side dishes, but both were also surprisingly unimpressive. Service was good overall, but quality of food is simply sub-par. I deeply regret my decision for visiting. 10/10 would not go again.

Really awful. Avoid. Ordered Sul Lang tang and it freaking literally came with 6 Shreds of tough meat. I counted. Worst Ive ever had and comically bad at 13.99 a bowl!!!!!! AVOID this place at all costs I see why its always empty.Gal bi was tiny little dish that was ridiculously overpriced and not even that great. Didnt have gam ja tang in the summer which I guess is forgivable but just strange they dont warn you on the menu.

Side dishes here are quite good, and refilled very nicely by the staff. If you dont enjoy eating Korean noodles / soups, this might not be the place for you. They dont have single orders of bulgogi at normal prices (cheapest meat dish is 23$), so if you arent sharing, youll have to get some sort of noodle / soup, which is made averagely, but overall a bit more expensive than other places you can find nearby in san jose.

Upscale Korean, a bit pricey, but good food. Love their grilled fish, kalbi (very good cut of meat, well grilled), and their selection of complimentary side dishes. Only thing is, dont order the ramen. It seems to be instant noodle in a thin soup - nothing at all like real ramen. Maybe thats how Korean ramen is - I am comparing it to Japanese ramen. It is cold in this restaurant - bring a sweater!

I sometimes come here because its nearby. But the taste is really weird. Im Korean and sometimes cook Korean food at home. I wonder how I can cook like this weirdly. The interior is good and spacious. I tried most menu here and didnt like any of them. Service is bad from my point of view as well. And they have no desire to improve. Would really like to find a good Korean one in Mountain View...

As a big fan of Korean cuisine, this restaurant surely let me down. Really terrible service. We have to wait 10 minutes, ask in person to order anything. Then wait another 10 minutes for the water to come. Another ten minutes for the side dishes. Moreover, they offer the least tasty cold noodle Ive ever had in the Bay Area. Im afraid we wont come again...

Service was cold but not bad. The portions are decent, but the prices are high and the quality was really mediocre. Bland meat, lukewarm vegetables. Ordered the green tea. It was Bigelow brand, one bag in a full pot of water, you could barely taste it. We sent it back but they refused to take it off the bill.

We ate at an odd time, 2:30pm; well, they were just sort of open and seemed more interested in cleaning furniture. All of our food was exceptionally bland. I grabbed the hot sauce after my first taste of my Bi Bim Bap - and Im not a hot sauce kind of person. Expensive, flavorless food.

Loved the bibimbap. Great flavor and had a nice crispy rice shell. There were six sides that came with the meal-kimchi, bean sprouts, spinach, seaweed, eggplant, and fish cake. Also got the hot chicken soup with glass noodles, ginseng, and dates-very clean broth and extremely tender chicken.

Food is five stars, price is four stars... a bit on the higher side of things, but I guess considering its location is normal. Lunch menu costs about $11 to $13. I will round it up to five stars since the food is what matters :)

Mixed vegetable rice on iron pan was common. Particularly Yuk Ge Jang (Spicy Beef Soup) was bitter and too salty. An attendant said just "Sorry, it is due to bracken that we was supplied recently." after checking kitchen.

My go to for a single serving of gam ja tang (pork bone soup) in the Bay Area. Other Korean places that Ive been to in the Bay Area either dont have it at all or its a big pot for more than one person.

Free add ons in my soon dobu? Yes please! Dont know of anywhere else that does this. (Examples are rice cake, ramen, ham, Kimchi, cheese...). Also, the seafood pancake is serious business. Yum!

If youre looking for Korean food in this area (vs going down to Santa Clara and Sunnyvale), this is my current top pick. The dining room is usually civilized and the food is consistent.

Service was good. They customize pancake, replacing KimChi with green onion, for my 1.5 year old daughter. Taste was acceptable. We will probably come back again.

Food here is OK at best. The ban chan (small side dishes) here isnt very good. The gal bi jim is much better at Kunjip. The soon du bu and gal bi were both OK.

They have really good service. No matter when we go, we never had to wait too long (perhaps because they have a rather big floor). I recommend seafood pancake.

Awesome food. At first I thought the prices were too high, but after seeing the food, I was like, it is a lot of food. I am coming back.

I rarely like eating korean food, but my dish here was quite good. Service a little slow but food made it well worth it.
