My family and I used to come here a lot. The food used to be great and the service used to be amazing anytime of the day. We walked in and immediately were greeted by a man who looked at us as if we were not supposed to be in the restaraunt. We sat ourselves letting the man know we were sitting there. We looked at the menu for 5 minutes and waited for another 20 until a member of our group went to get a waiter. We ordered our food and I looked down to find a bug on my plate. I inspected the filth in the restaraunt and found that on every booth seat there was dirt and dried up food. When our food came, the man could not name the food we ordered. When he set our food down his finger was contaminating the food. He did not look clean and neither did his clothes. We tried to eat the sushi but it wouldnt stay together and kept falling apart. When we were done sitting in the restaraunt (not eating) we told the woman who took our card that we were very disappointed with how the restaraunt has gone from one of our favorites to one that we cant eat at. She looked at us with a dirty look and walked away. I never leave reviews for restaurants but this was too bad not to warn you about. Save yourself from spending $100+.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant! All of their rolls are so delicious and mouth watering! Ive tried almost all the rolls they have on the menu. Whats great is that everything they have here is so good that Im always willing to try new things knowing that Im most likely going to end up loving it, which i do! The only bad things I can say about this place is : 1- my appetizers dont come out ontime. They usually arrive at the table with the rest of my food, or after I get the food. Which sucks because its an appetizer, it should be there first. But its so good that sometimes it doesnt bother me as much! (Im talking about the broiled mussels, they are to die for!) 2- the waiters dont come by as often to check on you, so sometimes ill be sitting there waiting to get a refill , & after a while I have to try to get the attention of my server to get the refill. But the staff is very nice once you do get their attention. So overall i think this place still deserves 5 stars because their food makes up for any flaws.

Our waitress, Destiny, was GREAT!! She did a fantastic job the entire time and was attentive to our needs. Couldnt have asked for better service. Until we met the manager, who approached us in a north face jacket and leopard scarf (super unprofessional). She came to our table because we ordered the wrong roll and asked to have it sent back and treated us like we didnt know what was going on. She was rude and loud and it was embarrassing for us and our waitress. We love this sushi place and are from out of town and LOVE to come in but after this experience with the leopard scarf manager, we may try and find another sushi place. Please consider firing her and getting a new manager who treats employees better. Nobody should have to deal with somebody so rude like her. The sushi was delightful but hard to ignore poor managing skills.

Received food with hair in food, manager was very rude, aggressive and hostile was hitting the table and yelling saying that the hair come from the sever not the chef refused to resolve issue in a professional manner was threatening myself and my friends also advise we can never go, as I am walking out he puts his hands on me pushing me out!! I was trying to explain that due to seeing the hair in my food I felt as though the food could have been contaminated and no longer was able to finish our dinner the manager was extremely unprofessional! The fact that hair can contaminate the food we were unable to finish and he still wanted us to pay!!! NASTY FOOD NASTY STAFF DIRTY PLACE WITH CONTAMINATED FOOD OLD FISH BE AWARE THEY SEVER OLD FROZEN OUTDATED FISH AND SEAFOOD

This is by far one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the valley. Its not the best looking, nor does it have the best service, but the prices and taste are hard to beat. They have a great selection of custom rolls and because they get such a large volume of customers the fish is VERY fresh. I know its a chain, but Ive been to other Octopus and they werent as good. Sometimes the rolls are big and hard to eat, but theyre sooooo good. Ive gotten all my friends hooked on this place. Ask the chefs when they usually get new fish in, theyll let you know when they think the best days are to come. Plus, if you get them a little tipsy towards the end of the night theyre an absolute riot to hang out with. I love this place. Nov. 1st 2007.

Lunch special comes with so much food, that you cant even finish! It comes automatically with miso soup, green salad, goyza, California roll and 2 entrées of your choice from a long list of possibilities. All under $9! Absolutely the best value Ive seen. Even though it takes a little longer time to wait for the meal but quality is very good.

Happy hour is great! They have a wide variety of sushi to choose from. My favorite is the spicy tuna on crispy rice. I love crispy rice. The baked rolls are great too! There is one roll that has bakes albacore on top. I actually ask them to put baked salmon on top instead. Delicious! Worth going.

A wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Great Japanese fare. One of the few places that I will go for sushi now! Everything is fresh and delicious. Beautiful restaurant. Super helpful servers. Very welcoming manager. They were graciously accommodating to my food allergy.

The food was great but the service sucked. Once you are seated there is no one waiting on you. I had to chase down whoever was available for water, additional orders, even check. I would not be surprised if the owner is Korean. They are terrible with stuff like that.

Food was excellent but service was slow. Since we had a party of six (one was a child), gratuity was an automatic 18%. Our waitress never came back after she took our order. The other waiters helped us and we had to call them for assistance.

Now why do they have to play gangster rap and so loud. Dont come here with kids. This is messed up. Second time here in 3 weeks and the same thing happening. I asked to lower it or change the music and got a NO. Never again

Ive had better sushi at Chinese buffets, it is edible though. But the service wasnt the best when they were around they were nice but it was hard getting our waitresses attention so we had to grab who ever would look our way!

Copious amounts of bland and mediocre Japanese Fusion food. The Sesame Chicken was rather delicious, though. When gratuity is automatically included, make sure to check they dont double-charge you for the tip.

I gave it 4 stars because the atmosphere is real smooth and lounge like. A real date spot. The sushi is what Id expect for a chain. Not bad by any means, but it doesnt really stand out either.
