Clean and great selections of fresh produce and varieties of things we cant find here. For example, pancetta, prosciutto etc. The people here look at me like I have 3 heads when I ask for unfamiliar items. Truthfully, they dont sell enough to warrant stocking it. I do a lot of gourmet cooking and Italian and Mediterranean so you have to go out of Jackson to buy select products. Sometimes I drive to Whole Foods on Ponce de Leon in Atlanta to purchase certain cheeses, chocolates, and olives and other things. I also go even farther to North Atlanta to the international farmers market and get many other fresh items.

Waited for 15 minutes to get help at the hot bar, three people working and I as the third customer. Fourth customer came up and received service. No on asked me if I needed help or offered help. Im visiting from Virginia where public is opening soon. I will not shop at this store.

Publix is undoubtedly more expensive than Walmart. However, its a better shopping experience. The store is well lit, the people are very helpful and friendly, and you just feel like youre eating healthier. When in reality, youre probably just paying more. Perception is everything.

I love the store and the employees but I am so tired of being asked to give money every single time I shop. Its getting absolutely ridiculous. There are times I dont want to deal with it so I bypass Publix and go down to Ingles instead.
