Gold Rush Chicken on Howell Ave lacks honesty and moral fiber (in my opinion). We ordered the 12 piece chicken special that includes coleslaw and fries ($19.99), and additionally ordered two orders of onion rings, for my kids who where sleeping over at their grandmas house. When it was delivered they only delivered a 12 piece bucket of chicken and the onion rings. When we called and asked where the fries and coleslaw were the reply given was you didn’t ask for those items and they refused to deliver them. They did remember to charged over $30 for the chicken and onion rings, a total rip off. They may have good chicken but as far as we are concerned they couldn’t go out of business fast enough because they are dishonest people running a dishonest business.

Terrible customer service. I placed an order for delivery January 19th 2014. I ordered the rib platter and seafood platter which was supposed to come with 3 pieces of fish, shrimp and French fries totaling $32.80. Well they cheated me out of one piece of fish and the french fries were horrible as if they were cooked in old grease. I called the restaurant back 2mins after I received the food to tell the worker that they shorted me on a piece of fish. Some jerk named John or Jim answered the phone. His response to my complaint was "you got what you got" then hung up. So rude and very unprofessional. If i had my car, I wouldve drove there for a refund. I will never order from there again.

Last night I ordered a 8 piece chicken all white gold rush is always good but last night it was horrible the chicken was soggy as hell chicken didnt taste right like normal the rolls omg was hard as a brick 30 bucks down the drain maybe they had a bad night i still like them next time check the food out before u leave......

This place is just consistently amazing whenever I get it. Hot, fresh, efficient service without seeming unpleasant, Ive never been even slightly disappointed. There is only one better chicken place in the city, and none on the south side. I simply cant praise this place enough.

Awesome chicken... I used to get chicken here all the time when I lived in Milwaukee,now only when I get work in the area. They even double bagged it for me to keep it warm for my ride home to Port Washington...and it worked still nice and hot when I got home
